Suddenly gunshots rang through the air, hitting everyone on the field in rapid succession.The damage wasn't great, but it was enough to get people's attention. Carefully adjusting his glasses, Simon turned off the boombox and addressed the hunters and trainees.

"If this is important enough to waste Allan-taichou's time over, then we'll have to settle it with blood." He likely just wanted to shoot people more.

And Dakota was getting shot at sooooooooo....

He dipped over to Kat, taking a seat behind her and using her as the best camouflage hunter shield ever.

"Moon meeting is over." He whispered, "I came to check training fields for practice and here you guys all are! Little sunrays on the field." He scooted closer until he was sure he was hidden behind her.

A moon in a bunch of suns.

There had to be a joke leading into this one....

"So...How you doing Kat."

"Hmmm," Allan nodded, thoughtfully after Simon, totally okay with the fact that his assistant just shot some trainees, it was tough love after all, and they were Suns, used to tough love, "I don't think anything is that simple." He picked up one of the candies from the ground. "See this candy? The outside is tough, but in the inside, in the kokoro is a delicate, soft interior." He peeled it to reveal what looked a lot like a mutated wad of candy or the gum America had been chewing before she prepackaged it.

"That goes for all of you," the Sun lead continued, "You are Sun Hunters, but you are also nakama. No secrets, no fear, no hatred, there isn't time for that and before you know it there will be someone else who looks up to you." He turned to look at Rep, Jordan, and Jerry. "It hasn't been easy, but it never is. We were all young once and we all had faith. Remembering to keep true to your kokoro is so important, more important than your time spent as a trainee. You only spend so little time as a trainee, but much, much longer as a Hunter, and always as nakama. Be true to yourself and respect each other, new or old. Never lose your spirit." There might have been an encouraging smile and then a wink to the trainees.

"I didn't ask Bix-kun or Rep-kun to show off, I asked to them to demonstrate their resolve. You fight your hardest and that is all, that's all it means to be a Sun Huner. Even when I was a trainee, even Simon-" the Sun assist seemed to still be considering some of the Hunters in the meeting with a sort of deliberation - "had someone they looked up to. You don't need to have one, but to have a partner, a sensei will teach you purpose and focus your inner spirit. You will become stronger! Train together not apart. Believe in yourself and each other!"

He simply then just posed, and at this point it wouldn't be surprising if he somehow had a second pinata called the "BELEIF BALL OF LOVE" or something.

"And also giant pumpkins!"

Wait, what.

No really, it was a giant pumpkin. Right behind them. It was about the size of a large horse and just seemed to be wandering around, with totally killer intentions as it squeezed the non-existent life out of a few training dummies.

Allan grinned ear to ear, summoning his weapon before pausing, and then considerately de-summoning it. "No, we need to work together as a team. Together. One at a time. Trainee-tachi, you go first, hit it for all you got, the bright orange center. All full Hunters, you guys are more experienced, protect the trainee-tachi and hit the thorns. Let's do this, as a team." He seemed pretty proud of himself for not having jumped the gun this time.

- Allan has asked trainees to attack while the full hunters do damage control. If you are a beginning or intermediate trainee, go for the offensive! The thorns however will do an auto - 10 damage. HOWEVER
- A full Hunter can protect you. They can roll their defense dice to protect a player. This will subtract damage otherwise done to the trainee.
- You can also boost a trainee's morale if you are a full Hunter. Saying something encouraging will up their attack by +2.
- Do this until the pumpkin is dead!

Sin winced at the pain of the bullets. "Damn.."

Holding up his hands, palm facing outwards in a conceding manner, Sin stated. "Let's leave things the way they are. I apologize for any offense made as it wasn't intended. There were some bad word choices and things that I shouldn't have said." Sin spoke to those that had taken the time to address him, some ruder, some nice, some more practical than others. Regardless of whether he agreed with all of their opinions, there was no point in continuing this argument. He hadn't started this to create a rift between himself and the other sun hunters. Nevertheless, the damage was done and they had other important things to deal with -- mainly Allan's inspirational speech and the giant pumpkin behind him.

His heart felt warn and fuzzy at Allan's speech, although Sin would have never stated it in that way.

He whistled at the end of the speech that led into an entrance of a giant pumpkin. He was never going to predict Allan or any semblance of his mind. "That's almost a cute pumpkin, don't you think?" Minus it's killer intentions, it was pretty suitable for the season..

Solomon was 110% not sure what he'd gotten himself into, watching the full ranked hunters and their..whatever they wanted to call it, and then there was -

"Pumpkin." He sort of stared at it incredulously. "That's a sentient pumpkin." He looked at Peyton as if she would have an answer for him. Because this was still a lot to take in. Giant sentient pumpkin, excited division leader, pinatas.. it was a party here! Not in a bad way either, but he really needed to take in the strangeness of the situation.

Rep nodded and back off deferentially to first Simon and then Allan, he wasn't going to try and articulate any further what the other man said a hell of a lot better.

He wasn't expecting the giant pumpkin though, that was certainly out of left field, and obediently he fell back, with every intention of defending whoever stepped up to take a shot at the thing.

America didn't really mind getting a little bit sting on the bottom for sass, but was a bit worried when it looked like another feelings circle may be forced on them. Thank god a giant pumpkin decided to attack before things took a turn for the worse! "Now we're cookin with peanut oil!"

Running straight at the thing without a second thought, America started spinning Stryker once again, yelling, "Let's make us some pie!" He connected with a satisfying thwack, along with a spray of some pumpkiny chunks, before one of the thorny tentacles flung her away. As she sailed through the air, Stryker voiced his approval.

That was a pretty good one-liner, ghoul! Though killing a pumpkin is a jack-damned tragedy.

As America stepped up to fight, Rep also stepped up to at least fend off some of the things tentacles. Sure, he wasn't able to chop it up, but there were other ways to attack s**t.

"At least you are fiesty I guess."

Once again, Allan's speech sent Jerry flushing and flustered. He was right. Even if he was... out of sorts lately, he still was a Full Hunter and had responsibility to be a good roll model- no matter how bratty their newest bunch seemed to be. He caught sight of Milo, straightening up proudly- at least that kid seemed to know how to be decent to one another!

"Give 'em a run for their money, Milo! Go get 'em!! Remember-!"

And he began to sing,

"There arrrre demons in the shadows,
that creep and kill and fright!
We'll bring those monsters to the gallows
but they'll put up a big fight!

WATCH OUT! HERE WE COME! WATCH OUT HERE COMES THE SUN!!"

She didn't get thrown nearly as hard as she would have if not for some timely aid from Rep. Giving him a grin that was all teeth and sheer happiness, she bounced a bit on her feet, pieces of pumpkin falling off. "Thankee Scotland, you make a good ally, that's for sure!"

Then Jerry started singing, and while it wasn't quite her style, she had admire the man's willingness to stay cheerful and encouraging when he knew his clock was ticking down to its final hour.

The answer from Chel seemed like it was going to wait, and around the two of them another argument had risen up - Milo had to frown seeing Sin seemed to be at the center of it, they had fought and the brunette had thought he was a pretty stand up guy who looked like he enjoyed the fight. And then it had been deflated once again by Allan's inspiring words. Nakama, huh? Milo liked the sound of that.

The pumpkin, though, was questionable and for a moment he had to give it a nice big stare. Those big Titan things were one thing but a giant pumpkin. Well, tokusatsu had had its fair share of weird things (cup of ramen anyone? Or how about the eraser. Yeah, those happened.) But it was time to idle by and stare at the thing, because they were asked to fight it. And that's what heroes did after all.

He watched as America went after it, pulling Koume out of the ground in the process as she did her dazzling display. Milo gave the naginata a customary spin and then blinked and turned, staring at Jerry and then breaking out in a face eating grin at the little song. "I shall do my best, Jerry-sempai!" And for added bonus, a thumbs up before charging and swinging.

Okay. Not his best. And ow. Those vines. Ow.

Chel was about to respond to Milo when Allan gave yet another speech on friendship. She nodded, feeling much like a kid being scolded for stealing candy. Allan was powerful, and she respected that, but the friendship speeches were getting old.

A giant pumpkin appeared out of nowhere. "Midnight already? Well damn."

Milo and America both landed nice hits, working together with hunters. "Nice on dude!" she called to her new brunette friend.

"It's a giant pumpkin, Peyton. I know the Insanity-Titan-Kaiju-whatever-it-was should be enough breaking in, but it's a pumpkin." He didn't just wake up in the morning and decide to be desensitized to the existence of weird as s**t. Especially things weirder than he was.

Still, maybe it was a good opportunity to get Arenam going, and the Colossus' two heads roared with synchronized approval in his head as the bracers broke and made way for the pair of scimitars in his hands.

There was really no way to make oneself feel very cool when they were stabbing a giant pumpkin with two swords, so he didn't try to think about that for long.
