Username: Quicksilver the Archangel Character's name: Krishna Dhawan Character references: Civi PoweredPokemon: Arbok Contest Category: Cool Why did you pick this combination of Pokemon and Contest Category for your character?:Krishna has a strong association with snakes as Captain Serpentine and in particular with cobras, as Stheno (his youma) is a Cobra Naga. The colors of Arbok also harken back to his past life as a Saturn Knight. I chose cool because he likes spicy foods and his weapon, a whip, is heavy on attack and little on defense.

Charizard is firey, tempermental, and Rage is one of his most powerful attacks. Quinn having a hell of a temper makes me think that it's perfect for her. Also it's my favorite Pokemon, whatevs 8D And I chose tough because none of the others make sense for Quinn~ Quoting again<3

Why did you pick this combination of Pokemon and Contest Category for your character?: Devlin's got a rough edge to him sharp as any Mightyena's fangs. Blunt and brash, he overly strikes me as the classic "lone wolf." Mightyena is that lovely mix of wolf and hyena, and to me mixes well with even Loke's more rugged look. Extra bonus at no extra cost: He can look as just-out-of-bed scruffy as he wants and still pull of the Mightyena look! For picking Tough though, I mainly went for two aspects: 1) Loke is not an DPS sort of fighter. He's far more a 'Let's sneak in the shadows and stab them in the back' type. Which leads to a lot of defensive tactics on his part. 2) One of the natures covered under Tough is Lax. Can't get much more lax with the world than Devlin. We've also got Bold and Impish. Ladies and gents, I give you the trickster...

Username: LittleLilyKitty Character's name: Yadira Sorah Character references: X X X XPokemon: Articuno Contest Category: Smart Why did you pick this combination of Pokemon and Contest Category for your character?:Here comes LLK's totally silly list of reasons: 1) I wanted it to be an ice pokemon because Yadira can be so serious sometimes that she appears as cold person. 2) Articuno is strong fighter who isn't eager to fight, just like Yadira. 3) Articuno is elegant and graceful, something that Yadira aspires to be. 4) Yadira puts a lot thought to what kind of image she gives to outside which can be seen as smart. 5) I actually checked out the Nature chart in that Contest Category page and found most same traits under Smart section that Yadira has. 6) Articuno's colors are something Yadira would totally wear. XD

I had a really hard time choosing a pokemon for Leora, but in the end someone suggested Chandlure, and its elegant and creepiness I feel really represent Leora's personality. Or at least how she was viewed by others while growing up. I then picked the Beauty category, because whole Lolita fashion ( Which is Leora's bread and butter ) is often viewed as cute, Leora as a character is not very approachable. When people think "cute" they think cuddle. Like the difference between a child's baby doll and a porcelain doll in similar ruffles, I just felt beauty was a better catagory. smile

Not only is she something of a plain jane and proud of it, she also happens to be named after the nightingale, which happens to be a small brown bird. I think Smart fits her best because intelligence is something she respects and takes pride in, even if she’s not a genius or anything.

Contest Category: Cute Why did you pick this combination of Pokemon and Contest Category for your character?: Lopunny because its ears look like pigtails dipped in cappuccino foam? Its colours and tendency to hide from danger suit her well. Cute because even though Gigi is nearly 18, she can't let go of the girly look, and it also suits her hasty and naive nature. I was originally looking for a smart electric type to go with her coffee sphere, but right now she's definitely still a normal type - weak to fighting, with no resistance. ^_^
