Xiu mused over how lovely this library was as she stepped in, gaze sweeping over the vast number of books that were lining the shelves. She greeted the gargoyle with a polite smile and a wave, perking up as he spoke of...story-ception or something. It seemed a little confusing, but then he he looked at her more intently, and it suddenly hit her. Oh, he wanted...he wanted her to tell him a story?
...
Uhhh, oh man. Well, she did have some vague memories floating around. Maybe she could use one of those...
After a bit of pondering, she told him a story of a rather typical good versus evil, using one of the memories she had remembered. It was the story of a ghoul who had a long adventure with her classmates--er, companions. The climax was when they finally reached the final antagonist only for the ghoul to get stabbed and pinned down by a magical dagger when she tried to attack. Fortunately, one of her friends--her good-natured but lazy companion--managed to free her.
Then Xiu bsed the ending with a dramatic fight scene that obviously ended in the "good guys" standing over the bodies of the unconscious "bad guys". She had a feeling that that wasn't how that memory really ended, but shhh whatever, it was just a story.
