C'tis - Ring toss
"I bet I could take him," C'tis smirked. "I'd even let you watch if you wanted." With that and a bigger smirk he lent down to give Rochelle a brief kiss on the lips. "You going to play again?" he asked as he straightened. "Any of the prizes you especially like?" he already had ten points, if he got two more he could get her one of the top rank prizes if she wanted.
Bereck - Near stalls
Bereck caught the murmured question and nodded slightly in return, his mouth quirking up slightly at one corner.
Turning back to Becka the healer smiled properly again, though properly for him was still small and restrained. In public Bereck was restrained in every mood, save for annoyed. Everyone knew about it when he was annoyed. "Go ahead," he said after a moment, gesturing to the package with his now freed hand.

Rochelle - Ring Toss 4 1/2 marks
She snorted at the very notion of him beating her imaginary boyfriend. C'tis smirked and leaned in, Rochelle rising on her toes to meet him for the kiss. "I was thinking the hair pins but I'd not have much use for them. Or maybe one of those toy dragons. We used to have them in the creche, didn't we?"
She shrugged and leaned, shoulder bumping his arm before she tossed teh rings in quick succession. Rochelle didn't pay much attention to the aim; she had her company and only four points already. "You?"

Nash - Ring toss 4 1/2 marks 4 points - spent
Four.. well, Sunny would like a dragon toy. "If I could see the small white one?" He asked politely and examined the toy. Simple but cute and solid enough that it was unlikely his youngest sibling would break it. Probably a pale wood. "I'll take this, and maybe a other go." Nash said, looking over the prizes. Those parasols were intriguing but his luck had been on the off side. Then there was the harnesses, though he doubt he could managed to get Harbinger to willing wear one. Not to mention she was very unfit for a messenger flit.
Vail - Ring Toss 3 marks
"There you are!" V'ail grinned spying his twin and peered over. "That is cute. For Sunny?" He asked and glanced over before snickering. "Your luck sucks."
Nash twitched, eyes and mouth going flat. "Thank you, for that. I'll like to see you do better." He grumbled, carefully stowing the toy away.

Becka grinned and CAREFULLY pulled away the wrapping on the parcel to reveal the blue dress she'd been eyeing before "Oh ... Master Bereck" her lip quivered a little and suddenly she launched a hug right at Bereck "Thank you ... " she mumbled into his clothing.
Phasianth was extremely pleased, His hadn't gotten the dress for herself but that nice BereckHealer got it for her, it was win-win.

Wen - With Cai, Stalls 4 1/2 marks
"Point, but then they are not really trained to use common sense." Wen pushed a stray strand of hair from his face, amused at Cai's blush spread out. "It also hard to think during that situation." The fires, smoke, the fear of getting caught and the giddy disbelief as everything worked out. "Perhaps that why we became lax."
Was that a full out blush? Wen tipped his head, concern and amusement warring with each other. Had he said something? "Firestone is not very pleasant, but it has a use. Rynsemth doesn't seem to mind it overly so," but his dragon had a malicious streak and burning thread had been soothing since the black had been unable to exact full revenge on the weyrholders.

Alina
She smiled again, taking a step back to look at the box. Alina ran her fingers over the seam of the box, opening it, tilting it to keep gazing over it. The crinkle of paper sounded in the background, Becka's soft feminine voice and then suddenly there was a second body very close to her.
Alina squeaked loudly, eyes wide behind her glasses. The girl clung to her weyrmate like a limpet, a small healer sloth. That's when the giggles started, hand over her mouth, taking a step back to give him some room. She tried to stifle them but ended up just shaking her head.

C'tis - ring toss
"Yeah, we did didn't we?" C'tis scratched his ear and looked at the gaily painted models. "Mine was plain wood though." He kind of missed it not as a toy or some kind of source of comfort, just as a... a keepsake, a memento. Kids who grew up solely in the creche didn't have much that was really theirs and theirs alone but that dragon had been his and that had mattered. "Hu... I don't know, the flute up there looks nice and those are nice belt pouches."
Bereck - near the stalls
Another thing he hadn't expected.
After a moment of surprise and mild awkwardness Bereck put his free arm around Becka's shoulders and squeezed. "You're welcome. Marrow saw you looking at it... I thought you should have it." Every girl should have a nice dress, it was one of those... girl things. Women at least he was familiar with (more or less) but he'd never spent much time with girls when they weren't categorised under 'apprentice' and thus got treated exactly the same as any other....
Alina was giggling. Bereck shot her a sidelong glance, trying to work out what she was finding funny. His awkwardness at being hugged in public? Maybe. Well he'd ask her later in any case.

V'ail - Ring toss 2 3/4marks Evens Odds Lanterneth replied primly, her soft wispy voice firm. V'ail chuckled, sending a teasing reply of 'Jealous?' as he handed over a quarter mark for the rings. "Lan says, Sunny needs a red toy."

V'ail - ring toss 2 3/4 marks points - 6 Spending - crimson plush
V'ail frowned as he managed to miss twice but did get a single one and a higher score then his twin. Take that Nash. He looked over the prizes and decided on a crimson fire lizard plush. It might not be a dragon, but it was close enough. "One of the crimson fire lizard plushes, please," he requested.
"On the far left by order of her lovely highness," he added and sent a slightly annoyed pulse at his dragon for butting in.

Rochelle
"I remember playing with some. I had a doll named Missy, though," She smiled a little, following his gaze to the dragons. The mention of the toy made her nostalgic, eyes somewhat distant as she remembered. "She had pigtails and a pink dress. Malvren has her now." Rochelle huffed a laugh and leaned in closer to him, her head tilted back to grin.
"You going to throw again? Maybe we could snag some bags and toys and flutes. Not, y'know, an ocarina--" She stuck out her tongue and wiggled it halfheartedly before continuing. "But musical and everything. Oh - and, actually, would you be irritated if I became one of those significant others and dragged you to look at clothes?" She didn't have many anymore. Most, if not all, of her old clothes were sitting pretty at a tailor, waiting to be altered.

Cai - Totally not browsing (4 marks)
Cai 'hmphed' and let the subject of the raids drop. It was pointless arguing about it and Cai was still in a relatively good mood. She'd like to keep it that way. Now that she had her treasure trove of oils she'd be able to mix her own personal stock of balms.
"I won't deny that. I'd rather a world with firestone than without." The destruction of one of their mines and left their supplies low. Had concern over stretching what stone they had led to the Wingseconds death? Doubtful they'd find out if it was. "I don't particularly mind Miath's feelings though." Cai ran a hand over her hair, brushing the braid she wore over her shoulder.
What is that mine? A flash of green image crossed Cai's mind and she turned, scanning the booths around her.
It's a dress and before you get ANY ideas the answer is No. Cai looked resolutely away from the weavers stall. She had plenty of clothes with the addition of her rider leathers.
I like the one you have.
How do you know I have a dress?
You pulled it out a few days ago when you were digging in your trunk.
And you remember that? Cai paused in her walking, giving an incredulous look to Wen. "Wen. Do you believe this? That dragon of mine remembers a dr-... an article of clothing I haven't worn in over a turn but she can't remember if she ate yesterday or not." Cai threw her empty hand up in the air and shook her head helplessly. "It's probably a good thing she doesn't want to chew stone. She'd forget that she had and probably burn half the forest down with an ill-aimed burp."

Wen - lightly browsing 4 1/2 marks
"True and Miath is a warm spirited dragon. I can't see her fighting thread." Actually, he could and it wasn't pleasant. He shook his head and made a face as more of his pale blond hair escaped his braid. "I almost need pins for this."
"Is that so? Perhaps she remember the article of clothing because it was a unusual blimp in everyday activities." Dress perhaps? He wasn't sure the last time he seen Cai in a dress, but it would be interesting to see her in one. Jemi had spoke about taking her shopping for clothing before. "Though I think we could do without an forest fire."
He hummed slightly. "Do you play games?"

Cai (Marks: 4)
"It's possible. Though she barely remembered the raid even while I was sick, and unless I directly remind her, now that you and Rynsemth are back and well she doesn't remember it at all. I bet if I asked her, she wouldn't remember why there was a Gather today."
Miath was still convinced that Rynsemth was her clutch sibling and refused to believe otherwise, though that may be less a faulty memory and more her general affection for the other atypical. Cai saw no harm in letting the crimson believe this one. What was more important to Cai was the fact that while she hadn't wanted to Impress, at least she Impressed to a dragon of Benden blood.
"Not generally." Cai eyed the games and their crowd. She was usually too busy for games, or so she convinced herself. A lot of the prizes seemed silly, cheap little trinkets yet people wasted more marks than the toys were worth just to get them. "Do you?"

Wen 4 1/2 marks
"Not usually, but I think I have a whim to try it." Wen looked over the crowd and then at the game, slightly intrigued at the complexity. "They are sort of like a puzzle. It looks simple but it is rather hard to get a score and such a prize above what you paid to attempt it." He enjoyed a challenge and this was something he never actually attempted. Arm wrestling and dice were the vices he knew.
"And," he drawled, eyes focusing on the black firelizard and crimsons firelizard life size replicas, "Rynsemth wants to get something for Miath I think."

Cai Marks: 4
"Oh he does does he?" Cai smirked at Wen, fairly positive that that was not the case at all.
"It really doesn't look like a puzzle..." Cai watched as someone swung a hammer for points. "Not exactly a mental challenge." She made a face at the game. It was probably just an excuse for men to try and 'impress' their lady friends with their strength. Gag worthy. She shot a sideways glance at Wen. Cai thought she knew him better than that, but if 'Rynsemth' wanted to get 'Miath' something, what was he playing at?
