Shun looked over the ring, then went and put it on. It slid onto his index finger with no problem, and seemed to fit nicely.
"Only one way to find out..."
The Reaper walked over towards Mitsu and placed both hands onto her shoulders. In his research, he had learned of the supposed powers of this particular artifact. He wasn't too sure how to get it to work, but he had to give it a shot.
"Relax.." he said quietly before attempting to shadowstep about ten feet away with her.

"Find out?" What did Shun have in mind?
Mitsu watched him curiously as he approached, looking up at his face as he placed his hands on her shoulders. She wasn't sure what this would accomplish but nothing quite prepared her for what was about to happen. Expecting for something to appear Mitsu turned her head just in time to see one part of the room morph into another. It happened so quickly but the distortion to her vision made her blink hard her legs going a little weak as the world began to tilt.
"W...what happened?" Though the next words out of her mouth were more of a warning. "I think I'm going to be sick..."

It worked without a hitch. Shun was a short distance from where he last stood, and Mitsu was there with him as well. That was interesting.
"I just shadowstepped, and took you with me," he explained before blinking as she suddenly claimed she was going to be sick. Not wanting to be right in front of her in case she would vomit, he shifted to the side. He kept one hand on her shoulder and placed the other on her back.
"..Mitsu?"

Groaning slightly Mitsu crouched toward the floor with her head down hoping the nausea would pass.
"Shadow stepping makes you feel terrible why would you do it." She complained softly.

Mitsu only made a small sound of complaint as a reply. It was probably lucky she hadn't eaten in a while.

Was that that, then? Xiu glanced around anxiously, still not completely relaxed despite the fact that Shun had successfully obtained the item he had come here for. At the thanks that he directed towards the group, the baku's lips curved into a smile. "Anytime!" She chirped cheerfully. Now then, what did that thing that Shun get do exa--
--oh.
Oh.
"Wow! That will definitely come in hand--...are you okay, Mitsu?"
