Anduin smiled at the nightelf hunter. She really was a sweetheart who loved her animals like family. "Yes, after the war we'll have to invite you all back to enjoy the castle and city." He took his place on his fathers side waiting for him to enter.
Kyannah chuckled lowely and whispered to Maraad "when we were young we would bicker back and fourth when challenged. now though...men are the challenge" she winked at him then turned to say hello to the prince.
Taj took his seat again and smiled at the prince. "It is good to see you again. You've grown quite a bit young prince. I presume your father will be joining us shortly.."
Varian stormed through the halls of the keep on his way to the meeting.

When the king entered the room Evieline bowed before returning to her spot against the wall. She wondered briefly if during the war meeting she could sneak off and eat with the other guards.
Once they were all seated after greeting the king Maraad turn back to Kyannah. "So do enlighten Taj and I further on how your sister acted as a child. Her hunter atittude prevents us from getting to know her better."
Miya finally sat up straight in her chair once the royalty entered the room. Smiling at the prince's invitation, she knew she would come back to Stormwind. After all she hadn't gotten to see all the different bow shops the city had to offer. When she heard the comment her head snapped towards her sister and gave her that look

"My Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooy!!!!!" Varian scooped up Anduin in a bonecrushing hug, an action that contradicted his fierce prescence. Rolling his eyes at his father Anduin squirmed around trying to break the grasp, giving up with an exasperated sigh. "mprhhh..msdfhpmm" (Dad leggooo) Glaring at his father while he panted heavily, Anduin took his seat again. "Andiiii but you know I just miss spending time with my baby boooy" Varian pouted with watery eyes..
Taj blinked at the king and prince...who would have ever guessed they acted like that. Looking over to Miya he raised his eyebrow shrugging his shoulders.
Kyannah cleared her throat, blinked twice at Maraad and politely smiled. "oh what ever are you talking about Mar?" she gave him the shut up or else I'll die look, then looked over to the side.

Evieline tried not to giggle at the scene. She herself wasn't use to it, but still loved the fact the father and son were so close....she was never close to her mother or father. Tugging a strand of hair behind her ear she continued to watch them in silence.
Maraad chuckled at the sisters reaction to his question. "Well then you'll have to tell me about your own childhood then. Since Miya doesn't want us to know about hers."
Miya gave Taj an apologetic smile that said 'they do this almost every time.' Miya herself had been to the castle only a few time, still she had seen this scene many times before.

"Tell me Andi! How were your lessons?? Meet any cute girlies" Varian winked at his son, a grin on his face. Turning to his guests he greeted them "My friends!!!! WELCOME! Welcome to this glorious feast on this day! May the light bless you all!" Anduin just sighed at his father. He could be SUCH an embarrsssment. I mean...who DOES this stuff...
Tilting her head to the side Kyannah watched the king. He was quite animated, something she would have never guessed possible for a king with the looks of him. Turning to Maraad she sighed happily. "We grew up in the great tree, our parents a hunter and druid of course. We lived as one with nature"
Taj just nodded his head slowly accepting this weird behavior. "I'm guessing they are always like this" he whispered hushed to her.

Evieline choked a cough when Prince Anduin was asked about his lessons. The she winced when asked about girls. The knight tried to give him the chance to meet people, but they always ended up someplace different. "I must ask for forgiveness in him meeting young laddies his age...I usually try to keep away from to many people...I'm sorry your majesty." Evieline bowed before returning to her spot against the wall. It wasn't very often she actually spoke out, especially at dinner with guests. Hoping she wouldn't get in trouble for speaking out.
Maraad listened as Kyannah spoke. "A tree you say. We've never seen these tree type homes before. They would be interesting to see. Don't you thing brother?"
Miya nodded with a small smile as he whispered to her. She looked like a child that knew a silly secret.

The king chuckled, a twinkle in his eyes. Oh yes he knew about the two youngsters fawning all over each other, and he definetly loved to tease them about it too. Fake sighning the king nodded his head, keeping this a secret joke to himself. "We'll have to get you an arranged marriage at this rate son" laughter bellowed out of him in powerful bursts. "I plan to come to your lesson tomorrow and help with the sparring. This old mans gotta keep sharp" he winked at Anduin while his son drank his brew. "Please don't start ripping your shirt off like last time father..." that was one lesson the prince wouldn't ever forget anytime soon.
Taj nodded his head in agreement. It would be interesting to have a tree....for a home. It was a foreign concept to the aliens. "Yes brother we'll definetly have to head over to Dar-dar- oh how do you say it?"
"Dar-nass-us" kyannah giggled. "yes we have forests filled with trees on our great tree. It's definetly something you'll remember"

Evie's eyes widened at the idea of Anduin being put in an arranged marriage. She knew the king was joking, but she also realized she didn't give him the chance to meet young ladies their age. Shifting awkwardly she sighed, she was acting like a baby-sitter not a protector. "Did I miss something at the last sparring lesson your highness?" Evieline was curious as to what had happened, she had decided to work on her sewing. After all she knew she would be invited to the ball with the her being called into the war.
Maraad chuckled before tuning into the King, prince, and knights conversation. "Ah how I wish our father could have taught us how to spar when we were young."
"Mother taught me to shoot from a young age. She said I had the hunter's mark." Speaking with a smile before playfully rolling her eyes. "Father taught Kya about the ways of the druid. I still remember the first time she reach cat form."

Booming with laughter again, the king tried to control his chuckling. "oh Andi just never knew what a dashing catch his dad was before that time is all!" He remembered back to the day when he ripped his shirt of his bare chest and walked around the keep flexing for all the maids and ladies. Anduin was completely horrified! But he never lied to his son...there was a power in being sexy afterall. Grumbling as his father took that dreamy eyed look he tended to get Anduin pushed his food around his plate. "It was a dark, DARK day in the castle that afternoon..."
"oh did you not have a father?" Kyannah was curious about the aliens past.
Taj let a small smile break through. No matter how tough he was, he knew how hard little ones worked at their class, and the feeling of achieving a goal at such young ages.

Evie rolled her eyes and took a step forward and patted the Prince on his shoulder. "There, there I'm sure it wasn't that bad. Its a good thing to be proud of one's body...strange yes, but I'm sure one day you'll be doing the same thing."
"We were raised in the orphanage on Blood Mist Isle. Our parents didn't make it while traveling to this world. We were found an brought to the orphanage. It why ever year we return home for Orphans week and try to give them what we never had."
Miya listened closely and frowned. "When this is all over you should both come home with us! I'm sure mother and father would love to meet you both." Realizing how strange she sounded she quickly slammed her hands over her mouth.

Snorting Anduin shook his head. "there is NO WAY I'm walking around the castle in a metal bikini and thrusting my hips around and flexing..." Varian just grinned at his son and winked at the ladies at the table. Oh yes, he had worse that bikini...and yes he had liked it...
Kyannah could have cried knowing the brothers were orphaned. It must be awful to have to come to a new planet after crashing and find out you didn't have parents there to comfort you. She gently reached for his hand and squeezed it in comfort. "They are lucky to have you visit them, you're a sweetheart for sure!"
Chuckling Taj nodded at Miya. "of course we would love to meet your parents. They sound like they are quite the characters"

"Oh I'm sure you will. About that same time you out grow me." Smiling big she ruffle his hair before turning to the king and bowing. "Your highness must do these things when I'm out running errands."
Maraad looked at down at her hand and smile. Squeezing her hand back she looked at her. "It's nice to be able to show then what anyone can overcome. When we have free time we try to visit them, we've found several of them families. We check on them from time to time to." He smiled fondly at her, "You should come with us sometime I'm sure the children would love to see the other talents there are."
Miya blushed a deep purple and turned her head quickly. "Oh they are. They'll tell you the story if how they met...it's as interesting as they are."

Cackling out loud Varian grabbed his goblet and took a swig. That was some mighty fine dwarf brew..mmm... "Ah I feel like anyone who hasn't see it is missing out! I'll have to show you next time Eveline, it's a sight you'll never forget!" He winked at her then playfully punched his sons shoulder. "cmon sport, tell me about your sparring." Mumbling Anduin looked over to his dad. "It's just...you know...normal sparring. Nothing special dad." Anduin hoped that one day he could exude the confidence and sheer power that his father posessed.
"oh!! I would love to show them all of my druid forms! I'm telling you, there is nothing like seeing a bird shift to a cat, then bear, then seal to a cheetah and lastly a rideable stag." Laughing kyannah just shook her head in amusement. "I would love to show them about druids"
Chuckling Taj nodded his head. "oh everyone has an interesting story it seems. Why, I suspect even you do.."

Evieline laughed and smiled at the king. "You are always an amusing to be around person if I do say so your highness." Turning to the prince she gave him a look. "You are doing much better in your sparring. Last time you went against me you lasted two minutes longer than normal. TWO MINUTES! That is considerable progress for just a weeks difference!" Evieline smiled and tried to cheer the Prince up. She wanted to to see him smile again before she had to leave for Dalaran and then Ice Crown.
""The children would be certainly amused, they would all want to take turns riding your back." He chuckled and turned to take a sip of his drink. "The girls will probably get you to summon flowers and leaves to braid into each other's hair."
"I'm sure even you have one then." Miya said still turning her head to hid her blush. Her entire face was a deeper purple as she tried to ignore him. Knowing he was just teasing her if anything.

Varian openly laughed. "Two minutes eh? Heh still got a long ways to go then squirt" Anduins face turned red in anger. He slammed his fist on the table and turned to face Eveline. "Just because I'm not a plate wearer like you doesn't mean I can't fight! God you're such a stupid girl leave me alone!" Anduin stormed off from the table, leaving for his chamber.
Kyannah giggled as she twirled her hair around her finger. "I love to braid flowers into hair it's so pretty" Startled at the princes outburst she places her hands in her lap, head down, staying quiet.
Taj chuckled as he teased her then grew quiet as the prince started to storm out of the room. A tense air took his place.
