"As one should expect from a creature as ancient as a dragon." Lilith returned over her shoulder.
Tying their horses together, knowing her warhorse would keep the other in line while they were gone, Lilith drew her spear and shield from her back and delved into the cave. Well natural light didn't reach very far into the cave, its light did reflect off Lilith's well polished armor and provided the humans with just enough light to see by, or it would until they went much deeper.

"Perhaps, but I have never encountered such a creature that could preform necromancy."
Lloyd followed beside the paladin companion. His right hand gripped firmly onto the great sword attached to his back. He could hear only their footsteps and the distinct metal on metal sound of their armors.
"By the way, did I really have to get a new Paladin armor? What was wrong with my old one?" He asked, the order had given him a new pearly white armor to wear. More like forced him to once he became her squire.

"I've fought one or two in my time, they aren't quite as bad as books make them out to be. Just keep your fingers crossed that it doesn't have an army of corpses lounging around its lair." Lilith replied, completely failing to smooth Lloyd's nerves as she'd meant to do at first.
"And just that, it was old. Can't have my squire stomping around looking like an ex-mercenary."

Lloyd shrugged his shoulders to her comments. "Of course." He gave as a simple answer. If those corpses were killed one, then surely they could be killed again.
They entered an area of the cave without a ceiling, littered with skeletons all over. Judging by the armor scattered about, few were recent. "Ya jinxed us. I blame you." Said the blood knight in a childish tone.
It was then the Death Dragon flew down to greet them in a way only a dragon could, raining down hellfire as it landed to oppose them. The beast was black in body with purple scales in between that wold release a toxic gas. Now that the fight was here, Lloyd unsheathed his sword.
"Got any orders for me, mistress?"

"Kill that thing and everything it summons." Lilith answers with a smile, as she quickly blessed the both of them with holy energy.
Dodging behind a rock as the dragon's first volley fire rained down upon them, Lilith slowly advanced towards the beast, beheading skeletons as she hopped from rock to rock.

"Kill everything?" Lloyd held his face, he could already feel the blood lust coming on. If he let it loose with her blessing, then perhaps he could control it for just a bit. "I can do that..." He replied with dark intent in his voice.
He rushed on full force towards the dragon. Much like Lilith already knew, the skeletons were already being raised to protect it's new master.
"That purple mist is going to be a problem, don't breathe it in."

"Mist of any color tends to cause problems," Lilith replied from behind a rock about ten feet to Lloyd's left. While hunkered down behind cover, Lilith took this time to swiftly tie a scrap of cloth across her nose and mouth before moving forward once again. As the pair fought their way closer and closer to the beast, the skeletons raised by it were slowly getting their act together and putting up more and more of a fight. Rather than simply crushing skulls of skeletons about to rise, Lilith found herself having to knock their legs out from under them and brain them more and more often.

Lloyd's focus was on slaying the dragon. The skeletons would continue to be a problem if that wasn't dealt with soon. After all, kill the head and the body falls, right? He carved a path for them to the dragon. The Death Dragon wasn't pleased at all with the two attacking it within it's lair. It swung it's spiked tail at them.

Parrying a clumsy blow from a skeleton, Lilith was about to return the favor when she spotted the tail arcing towards her.
"s**t..." She muttered, dropping to her belly as fast as possible. As fast as that was, the beast's tail still caught the back of her cloak and flung her across the floor. Unsteadily returning to her feet, Lilith continued towards the dragon, as its tail had cleared many of the skeletons from her path.

"Lilith!" Growled Lloyd, he turned around and watched as she was swept into the air. In his own haste, he had not paid attention to the dragon gearing up to burn him in flames. The blood knight protected his face with his sword, but the intense heat was unbearable. The flame had pressed him to knees. "It will take more than that!"

More than willing to oblige by Lloyd's request, the dragon raised a claw to swat at the blood knight while he tried to fend off its flames.
Distracted as it was, this allowed Lilith to close the gap between them and stab her holy spear deep into the corrupted flesh of the beast's left shoulder.

The Paladin made quick work of the opportunity to attack the Dragon, a direct hit as expected of her. The dragon fell onto it's stomach, giving Lloyd the chance to actually breathe again. "Thanks, thought I was going to be roasted." He leaped into the air and stabbed it in the back.

"Ha, you're made of tougher stuff than that..." Lilith returned, pulling her spear from the dragons shoulder. Scrambling up its arm, Lilith twirled the weapon around with a quick flourish and sank the blade between two exposed vertebra of the undead dragon's spine. It might be undead, but sever its spine and it would become as paralyzed as a human would.

With the inability to move, the dragon was slowly dying from internal bleeding. What movement it had left in it's tail swatted away the Bloodknight and the Paladin from it's back. The beast had thrown the paladin like a horse would it's rider. The Blood Knight was slamed into the wall. That was enough to break an arm or a rib between the both of them. It surely knocked Lloyd out of his beserked state. After all, the fight was over. "That's going to hurt for awhile...Lilith, you alright?"

Lilith lay in a heap on the cave floor, her left leg bent backwards at the knee while her right arm, the same arm she'd broken during her fight with Lloyd when they first met, had broken again but this time in multiple places. Her arm had broken on impact with the cave wall and her leg had bent back when her armored weight landed on it wrong.
Grinding her teeth against the pain, Lilith shook her head. If she opened her mouth to speak, she knew she would scream in pain.
