More firestone! D'ei bared her teeth as they banked a left to burn more thread. The brown craned his head to munch down on some firestone, the short womans eyes scanning the skies as he did so.
Lycath shot out another burst of flame, renewed.

S’dekai and Pioth // Burn Post
Pioth practically folded back on himself to dodge a particularly heavy clump of Thread, a maneuver that would have almost certainly tied a larger bronze into knots. Even then, by the time he'd gotten out of its way, he flamed after it fruitlessly and only burnt the trailing edge.

Canoake sighed as the Thread finally seemed at an end. A good thing since they were almost through their bag of stone. Feeding more to Tatath, she produced a good strong flame taking out the clump next to them.

Hold tight! The blue dove down, seeing a stray patch that had managed to pass through the ranks. He burned it to a crisp, and then started to return to his position. Was that it? Was this threadfall over?

Apparently not. As he returned, he ran straight into a clump of thread, it catching both him and E'lov. It was painful, and he jumped between, keeping the thread from doing a massive amount of damage.
I am sorry.
It's alright, E'lov responded, grimacing. A bit of numbweed and I'll be as good as new.

Threadfall is over! At long last the Thread was destroyed, the very last of it tangling around one Magith before the slight blue shook it off between. After final checks of the horizon by watch dragons the signal went out from all of the wingleaders; break formation and land, dragons. Good work. ---------------------- And with that the Fall is over! Well done one and all!

Wow, I can't believe I won! I'm so excited! biggrin The lovely lady #2 (the one with purple eyes) is my first pick, and then #1 is my second choice.
