"Something bothering you? Punch it.

Peering through the milling people there was what she thought looked like a bar, fronted by a man who clearly looked distressed. Before she could put further thought into it she was interrupted by the appearance of Pretty Boy the Slow, heralding another compliment toward her speed; though not in the best choice of words. The nickname he ascribed to her too, what kind of taste did he have? He didn't seem that bad at first, but surely he could be more original than that. To show her dislike, she visibly gagged.

"You're not serious, right? It's not like I haven't heard that one before. You have to be waaaay more original than that. If Misaki's too long for you, Saki for short works as too." Misaki rolled up the other two mission scrolls and stuffed them into one of her pouches, holding the remaining c rank one in front of his face, and motioning for him to take it. "We'll start with the c-rank one first; and since apparently I'm too fast, why don't you lead on then, Ronnel? We're supposed to be acting as bouncers for a bar on this one. Not that interesting, but maybe some idiots will saunter over and get a good one in the nose." She curled her tail upwards around her waist and lightly groomed it, waiting for him to move. The building earlier seemed like the place to go, but she'd let him figure it out.

Still bothering you? Punch it again."

Ronnel raised an eyebrow and shook his head slowly.
"Right, like I was trying to insult you or something. You realize that being called 'pretty boy' happened daily at the academy, so your own retort works on you too." The medic sighed and shook his head before taking the scroll from her hands. He glanced down at it and nodded before jerking his thumb at the building she had seen. "I was just making sure you didn't run off and suicide in the forest. Pretty sure I heard rumors of poisonous critters out there, and while you're damn fast, all it takes is one lucky hit to ruin your day. Come on then."

This girl was weird. At first it seemed like she didn't like him, but then it seemed like she was respecting him, now she was back to disliking him. Great, her mood swings were going to be ridiculous. But then a smile flickered on his lips. "Ichi." He muttered this under his breath as he kept walking towards the club.

"Something bothering you? Punch it.

She chuckled, and defended her position. "Not at all! You actually are rather pretty for a man, so it fits, as is not as obvious as my vixen status." Taking advantage of the moment Misaki gave a quick pose, exaggerating what she could of her figure before snickering and moving toward the bar. A second after and the ears atop her head twitched, but she didn't really understand the meaning behind what she heard, so she shrugged it off. No point in thinking about it.

The first reaction from the establishment's manage was to be expected. He was surprised, and confused, unsure what to make of the girl demanding his attention. "I'm pretty sure that you're not old eno- wait, are you one of the shinobi that answered my request?" A moment passed by, sizing her up. "I hope not the only one." Misaki balked. Really? Really?

"Listen here bud, just because I don't quite look the type doesn't mean I can't give those cruisin' for a bruisin' what they want, like you are right now. I'm the probably one of the best people around for this mission besides the Kage." As she said this, she put on an air of attitude, placing her hands on her hips and jutting them out while giving him a stern look. The man was overwhelmed, and they stood there for a few seconds before she let out a sigh and threw her thumb back in the direction of Ronnel. "But no, I'm not the only one. The good looking guy back there with the white hair's helping out too." Misaki turned to look and realized that he was farther back than she thought. Apparently she even walked faster than most other people. Why was everyone so slow?

Ronnel strolled up slowly, his hands tucked into his hoodie, staff tucked into the crook of his arm. The girl with him was definitely hyper, or maybe she was living full throttle? He shrugged as he walked up behind her, noting that the girl had turned around to look in his direction. He leaned on his staff as he stopped next to her, nodding to the man.

"Afternoon sir. My name is Ronnel, and the lady there is Misaki. We're here to replace your bouncers for the evening, and I assure you, we can handle whatever you might need us to do, old enough or not." He raised an eyebrow, daring the man to argue with him. He was surprised to see the manager take a step back, blink, and look at him.

"Wait, Ronnel? As in the guy who took out that damn invader who ******** with our heads?" Ronnel blinked, tilted his head, and nodded. "Alright then. I'll leave this in your hands. There shouldn't be too much trouble, normally it's just school kids trying to sneak in. We haven't had a fight in a week or so, but... well, there're rumors that there's a group of guys who keep getting kicked out of bars for trying to start fights, and mine is one of the last ones not to have the misfortune of their presence. So if you could keep an eye out for them? They apparently work in a group of three." The man looked back and forth between the two ninja before sighing and heading inside. Ronnel frowned and drummed his fingers on his staff.

"First impressions? I don't think much of the man." He shrugged and looked to Misaki. "Well Ichi, do you want to keep an eye inside for these supposed 'breakers' or watch out here for kids trying to sneak in?"

"Something bothering you? Punch it.

Well, at least that was over. It's a shame that the old man decided not to say any further words; she was looking for an excuse to punch him in the nose. She was also surprised to see that Ronnel was recognized, though she didn't know what for. Didn't sound all that exciting with how curt he explained it. 'Invader who ******** with our heads,' Misaki'd have to ask about that later. Was he hiding some kind of super power that he used to save poeple in their time of dire need? She giggled to herself, putting her attention back on Ronnel just as he gave his first impression.

"Obviously I don't either. Seems like a real scumbag, and I hope those guys show up and trash his shop a bit before we 'notice' them." She stopped for a moment, mentally questioning the use of the word 'Ichi' for her. What did that even mean? "You can stay outside and hand out candy to all of the little children that come, and maybe a hug if they say please. Dirty work belongs to the professionals." A wide grin split her lips before she turned and entered the bar.

It only took a moment before the fresh smell of acohol assaulted her nose. Coupled together with a good amount of loud talking and laughter, this was an overall pleasant place for the uninterested woman to be hanging about. It seemed to be getting pretty good business at the moment judging by how full the place seemed. Was the ruckus caused by the unnamed assailants affecting the experience at other establishments that badly? Not that it really meant anything to her, but there was incentive to be here and tolerate the social drunkards. Unfortunately nothing beyond the usual was happening, so she decided to take a seat and peruse the crowd, sifting through the many faces and voices like a watchdog. At one point she noticed the owner shouting at someone only to get laughter in response. She smiled too, but remained bored. With a sigh she took a seat in one of the corners of the room and leisurely leaned backwards onto the table, scanning through the crowd and connecting gazes with a few of the patrons. As much as she liked her animalistic attributes, sometimes it'd be nice to blend in.

Still bothering you? Punch it again."

Ronnel bit back the first two or three remarks that immediately sprang to his mind, instead settling for shrugging his shoulders at the fiesty woman as she turned and headed into the building. So he was going to be the one keeping order out here, and hopefully preventing anyone who was underage from sneaking in? Fine by him. The white-haired medic moved next to the main door, noting as he did that the line was exceedingly long. He frowned slightly - was it like this at the other bars that hadn't been targeted by the hooligans as well, or was there something else going on here? He tucked the thought away for the moment, instead focusing his gaze on the first person in line who was trying to get through into the club.

Without a word Ronnel opened the door and let the old woman through. She was dressed... rather racily, for someone her age, and her chest area was obviously being held up by overly tight clothes. Ronnel was heartily trying to banish the image from his mind when the man behind her stepped up, and Ronnel waved him through as well - an older man with a beard as white as Ron's own hair, The man's gaze was firmly locked on the derrierre of the woman Ronnel had let through, and the shinobi guessed that they were a couple who still enjoyed nights out on the town despite their advanced age. But hey, he wasn't here to keep the older crowd out.

He was here to keep little girls like this out. The next three 'guests' were all in their early teens he would guess, faces caked with makeup so thick that he was surprised they could keep their heads off of their chests. They tried flirting with him to get by, but he was more inclined to think of his temporary teammate as attractive than these disturbing children. After he turned away the teenyboppers, he let a group of three men through, followed by a pair of middle-aged women. After that the stream of twenty-somethings that came by blurred together, until he saw a man with short black hair standing alone in the line. He caught Ronnel's attention due to the fact that he looked like he had freshly scarred skin on his face, and on the back of his knuckles. But he was by himself, not in a trio like the apparent rumors, so... Ronnel let him through, flaring his pheromones a bit to try to get Misaki's attention. Hopefully she'd keep an eye out on the door when that happened.

Fifteen minutes later, another man, this one with red hair and a still raw cut over his eye, went through the door, accompanied by another flare of pheromones. Now on guard, Ronnel was keeping an eye out. If a third man like that came in, he'd be heading inside to help Misaki out. He got to turn away a kid who was trying to sneak in with a fake hitai-ate. That one was fun, the way the boy's face froze when he saw the real deal gleaming from Ronnel's neck was highly amusing.

"Something bothering you? Punch it.

Tap tap tap. Misaki's fingers drummed the table. Nothing was happening, and she couldn't smell anything. She crinkled her nose before stretching and glancing towards the entrance, which she wished she hadn't. An older woman with a smile on her face walked through the entrance, wearing clothes several years too young for her age, and afterward followed a male of equal age with eyes quite obviously glued to her buttocks. Just looking at them made her shiver. Why couldn't they just keep their weird old people thing in the safety and ignorance of their own home? Immediately she averted her eyes from the entrance, hoping to avoid any other unsavory sights that passed through it's door. Gross.

Time seemed to move slowly for her, eyes crawling back to the entrance over the minutes just in time to spot a male with short black hair, sporting some scars on his face, and his hands. While not too odd, she mentally marked him and followed him into the crowd. She never noticed the pheromones that Ronnel was trying to give out simply for the fact that the stench of drink offended her nose so much. More average and boring people filed through the entrance, an equal amount leaving to keep the bar from getting too crowded. Eventually another interesting male popped through, bearing a shaggy head of red hair brushed to the side to let his eyes see, and also show off a fresh cut placed over one of them. A real troublemaker for sure, and the second target she mentally marked. Now all they needed was a third person to come in and start causing trouble, and they'd be set. The question was, how long would she have to wait?

Apparently not very long. In no time at all after the second interesting party had entered the room, things started getting rowdier than before. More shouting, and some people in the crowd were getting physical. The owner was getting worried but he couldn't see much from his position, the counter was completely full with customers. It took the fox girl a few seconds to get a lock on the culprits in the center of the conflict, and she spotted the two men she'd marked earlier for suspicion. The apple didn't fall far from the tree, huh? She sprang into action immediately. These guys were just your average ruffians, something she could easily take on herself without letting Ronnel get any of the credit. He made a good watchdog anyway.

Given her rather small stature it didn't take long, nor was it very hard for her to thread through the crowd. Her first target was the man with the red hair, holding a younger male in an armlock while shouting and someone that was trying to defend him. She moved behind him, reached up, and clapped him hard around the ears. Taking advantage of his momentary confusion she wrapped her hands around his neck, kick him in the back of the knee, and slammed him backward onto the ground. Everyone surrounding them gasped and looked around for the assailant, but caught nothing but a glimpse of her tail as she disappeared toward the second offender. He was looking for his companion and locked eyes on her as she approached him, clearly gauging her intention to take him down. He struck out at her with his leg, trying to get a solid blow to her head, but she was already to the side rushing into the opening, and delivering a quick jab to his groin. The emasculated male crumbled to the floor and knocked over a table whilst holding his family jewels.

Misaki stood up and grinned, dusting her hands off and standing triumphant. Mission comple- wait, didn't the details say that there was a third one? Was he already in the bar before they got here? An outstretched hand grabbed ahold of the end of her tail. "What the f-" She spun around and delivered a roundhouse kick straight to the person's jaw, knocking him to the side but unrelenting in his hold of her tail. "You stupid... Let go!" The girl growled, delivering another kick to his center of mass and pushing him into the counter. He dragged her along only to let go when the edge of the furniture knocked the air straight out of him. For good measure she pushed him to the floor belly down and placed her foot over his neck. A quick look towards her beaten victims assured that they were still there.

"Heeeey! Ronnel! Come help me drag these guys out!" She shouted, unsure of whether he already entered with all the people leaving/gathering around the center of commotion and attention. Rubberneckers were really annoying, though the look of wonder was something she could get used to.

Still bothering you? Punch it again."

Ronnel had come back into the club during the fight, to see that he had been right, Misaki had had no trouble at all dealing with the hooligans. He had had to join in though, not with the ones that she was handily putting down. Instead there was a guy who'd decided that the ruckus was enough of a distraction to steal from the bar. He was in the process of doing so when he felt a hand clamp around his neck, and turned a weak smile to the medic who was holding onto him. The shinobi shook his head and tightened his grip until the man passed out from having a nerve cluster pinched.

After that Ron refocused his attention on Misaki, in time to see her send another guy flying with a kick; and get dragged along for the ride part way. He tilted his head slightly, wondering if having her tail yanked like that was similar to having any other limb tugged, or if the appendage was more or less sensitve. He was pulled from his musings on her biology by her shout to get his attention. He saw that getting over to her would be difficult - there was a large crowd of people between he and her, and the crescent-moon eyed man frowned before letting out a sigh and channeling wind chakra into both of his hands. His palms were brought together in a clap above his head, which let out a loud bang that got everyone's attention.

"Right enough, all of you move on out if you don't work here, she was just doin g her job. Go on, shoo!" Ronnel started pushing his way through the now departing crowd, pausing long enough to grab the unconscious man he'd knocked out and drag the fellow with him. When he was close to Misaki he dropped the guy on the ground and shrugged slightly.

"Nice job with those three. This guy I don't think was with them, just an opportunist." As Ron spoke the manager of the club approached the ninja duo, his hands tugging at his hair.

"Something bothering you? Punch it.

She was busy tying up the hands and feet of the criminals when the explosive noise filled the establishment, and her ears. They immediately flattened against her head as she paused for a moment to locate the source of the sound, and spotted Ronnel walking towards her as requested, but with an extra prisoner. Was her leadership skill high enough to keep this many prisoners? Nevermind that. Misaki inspected the new accomplice, noting the hand marks around his neck. The girl met Ronnel's gaze has be began to speak, shooting him a sly grin. "Thanks, and you've got a strong grip there. Must be really good at tennis." Returning to the three dazed bodies on the floor, she finished tying them up and gave them a sharp tug. "Get up. You all are too heavy to drag and I want to get this over with, unless you want me to hit you again."

The manager walked over, gazing intently at the trio being hauled away for their disruptive antics. Recognition sparked in his expression. "You idiots, what are you doing here?! Don't ruin my business!" His free tongue flapped wildly before he realized what he was saying. Before he could try to mend his spoken words Misaki waved him off, reaching down into her kunai pouch, pulling one out to scratch one of the prisoners with it, and tossing it into a few fine slections of liquor behind the counter. She gave an innocent smile. "Damaged in the fight, sir. We'll be expecting payment at the soonest possible instance." Turning on her heel she tugged at the men again, getting them to their feet and walking out of the establishment. The fourth guy was Ronnel's problem. She didn't feel like lugging around an unconscious guy who wasn't even part of the mission. No bonus for bringing him in.

"Why is listening to old people an actual mission? Do they really pay money for that?" She asked, looking towards Ronnel.

Ronnel waited quietly while Misaki wrecked some of the bottles of alcohol, then walked away. He dropped the man he was carrying and grabbed the manager by the front of his collar and dragged the man close to him, pulling him off of his feet slightly as he did so. As Ron spoke, he glared into the manager's eyes directly, for once using the unnerving glow from his bloodline as intimidation.

"She might be alright with just forcing more fees on you that you'll have to replace. But I am not. I will be keeping an eye on you and your establishment, and if I see one single hint of anything like this ever again, you will be lucky to wake up with all of your limbs attached. You won't have a business. Am I clear?" The manager nodded shakily and Ronnel threw him away in disgust. Without looking at the disgraced man again, the shinobi hoisted the unconscious opportunist onto his shoulders and stalked out of the bar. He was able to catch up to Misaki in time to here her question, which made him shrug, drawing a groan from the man slung across his shoulders.

"It's the people who paid. IF they want to pay for someone to come sit and watch them eat, so long as they match the required fee, they can. No idea why though, just seems odd to me."

TABTAB A cheer rang through the Bloated Gull as Suki slammed her mug on the counter. Drink poured into it by one of the barmaids as the guy across the table from her followed suit. She had just been minding her own business when some big shot patron decided he did not like the look in Suki's eyes. During the busiest time of day for the tavern, a contest had erupted between Suki and the man, but there was one thing he did not seem to know: Suki was a Shishigami. Not a well known fact, but then again Suki was not her real name. So the two went back and forth until the enviable happened: the man fell out of his chair and could not continue. The bar cheered something fierce as Suki placed her mug on the table top and simply smirked. She was not one to be explosive and expressive, but she was not above hubris.

Kozi wondered into the bar with a somewhat slow, swaggered pace. She was wearing her favorite dress, as per the norm, and there was a flower in her flamey head of hair. It had been a while since the lovely lady had bought herself a drink, and before what she was planning on doing today she was definitely going to want something to make the day go by faster. She saw the man on the floor, stepping gracefully over him and throwing her hair back without paying mind to the girl who'd put him there. She was an alcohol sponge, so she knew all too well about lightweight talkative vikings who end up horizontal before they even get halfway to her limit. She leaned over the bar, the dress pulling up slowly as she did so, and eyed the bartender. The man smiled and rose both of his eyebrows towards Suki. Kozi looked over her shoulder, uncaring if she met the girl's eyes, and then back at the man, wholly uninterested but listening to the story regardless with mock impressions here and there indicating that she was in fact invested. When he was done she balanced a gold coin between her fingers. He held it out towards him, and he reached for a bottle.

"Nope." She uttered like poison from a very sexy snake. She pointed at the bottle of 151 Everclear and he dropped his jaw. She sat down, one knee below her romp and the other floating by the chair. She rolled her eyes at his reluctancy and dropped another coin on the table. Peaceful relations with Tsuki and a lack of conspiracy had bored her, and she had began slacking off from her training. Being one of few remaining jounin wasn't all it sounds like. She had no genin in her squad for fear they'd end up dead, and the ANBU hadn't called on her for a mission yet. So she was stuck in the village with nothing but mediocre village tasks to do. She had gotten a day off, and planned on mixing business with pleasure. She cracked and slammed another gold coin on the table and the man finally grabbed the bottle, shaped like a glass skull but with no other lables besides it's name. She took it and leaned over to kiss the man's somewhat sweaty forehead. She winked at him and turned back around, strutting her way out and eyeing Suki, almost invitingly. She then glanced at one of many staring dogs in the bar and smiled at him, biting her lip a little. She could hear his heartbeat all the way down the street... [Exit]
