He frowned, biting his lip a little as he looked back up at her.

October's...not..
Oh, okay. He fixed it. Candace blinked. "I was in a few places. Here, around, there was a mission at the Haunted House that month..." She narrowed her eyes. Why was he asking this? She'd been reporting to Aria regularly, she was doing fine; Candace hadn't had any major ******** or incidents lately, she'd been behaving. "Why?"

She had no luck so far... but she had also been avoiding the big guns.
If she wanted any information... she truly needed to approach the division leaders. Who then? H was a no, Caelius was a HELL no, she had a feeling Allan would view this as some sort of role play game... Aria seemed to hate anyone who was not in mist...
She gussed that left Edith. Ceres should have thought of her division leader in the first place, but at the same time... she did not want to seem a fool in front of her.
Still she went, and still she asked.

She read down the list a little more.... and discovered she also needed to interview others too. people she actually knew well. Without seeming suspicious. Ahahha...ha.
Time to get creative.

She was pondering who her first 'victim' would be... when a sudden voice, and a flash of red out of the corner of her eye, signaled someone she knew. She did not know him well, but his reputation outspoke him too. She did not hate the man outright though, there had to be some reason that he had a circle of friends. Rep was... honestly one of those types that seemed not really good about hiding the fact he did something bad. It was kind of hard to hide when you were a giant, muscled, red headed man with an axe the size of a small country.
But the paper did say everyone....
"Hey, Rep!" She called a second before she approached closer, letting him know she was talking to him. Oh god, now that she had his attention what the hell was she going to say? Ceres really sucked at being subtle, it was NOT in her nature. So it was time to do some bullshitting... "I have this..uhm. survey thing i need to do. Mind i ask... What you were up to last October?"
She pretty much figured he would see right through it.

Candace clearly wasn't buying it. She knew very well how she behaved last year, and there was no 'hunter of the month' bullshit around here. Candace rolled her eyes until he said it was the 'dying wish' of the council. Her eyes narrowed now. "Excuse me? What would you know of the ever silent council? From what I've seen they didn't give two shits about anyone but themselves." Dying wish. Cute. Candace reached for his sleeve. "What's this about, kid?"

Rep's reaction to most people addressing him was to stop and stare at them as if they had mortally offended him, it was a good tactic, it tended to set conversations off in his favour. Plus as a rule, he just really liked staring, and with eyes as blue as his, it was generally rather unsettling.
Tracey helpfully volunteered.
Thankfully though, Rep had found his earlier outburst with the table had left most people not interested in him as a suspect, which was convenient, and he'd been hoping to avoid any questions at all until Ceres addressed him.
He scowled darkly and crossed his arms, the hostility in actuality a front for the fact he couldn't ******** remember what he did last week, let alone in October and letting anyone know that probably wasn't going to come out hugely impressive in terms of impressions.
"Stuff." he said standoffishly. "What's it to you?"

Leon had a gameplan, talking to those that he was unfamiliar with and therefore had no basis of thinking he was acting peculiar. He was still mentally debating with Nid as to why he was walking up to the life leader in his office.
why he was knocking on his door and entering without caution as to whom might be in his office with him. "Sir, I want to ask your opinion on the situation regarding the council Massacre." again there was no pulling the punches with him as he watched to see how his boss would react. "As an intellectual to an intellectual, i would like to know your personal opinion on the matter."
he could see how badly the man's eyes rolled at that sentence.

Ami jotted down their weapons quickly, noting that neither Solia nor Ryan had appropriate weapons. Deryk, maybe. He was a maybe.
To the opposite of Ryan's expectation, Ami said, "I don't believe Clarice or Aria have anything to offer. Edith waved me away before I could say anything though- a second questioning might be in order." She did, however, withold information from them, like Dwight's panic and Lance' inconsistency.
Her eyes narrowed at Solia. "If you're bad at gathering information why are you a death hunter, hm?" Maybe she just wanted the girl to go away. It was probably that.
She turned to the more experienced Death hunter. "And you? What have you gathered?"

His next attempt at a investigation led him to the sun division area, where he went to question Simon about his whereabouts. He did know that Simon worked with Allan regularly as the assistant, so he was pretty sure he wouldn't be a suspect. Because why would Allan pick anyone like that?
Once in the office, he cleared is throat. "Sir...did you have anything against the council members?"
Evidently he must of asked a bad question, as Simon went about pointing a gun in his face.
Jason had exited the room with a scream as he scrambled to get away before he was killed.

Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, Ceres had not been around to witness the incident with the table.
As it stood though, she was currently staring down a rather rabid looking man. Man who knew someones eyes could be that bright a blue? Fortunately Rep had been this way each time she met him, and she really was not to the type to back down at 'bully' types. Maybe she was just suicidal, or stubborn.
Shrugging her shoulders, she too crossed her arms to mimic him.
Before she sighed.
She really sucked at being subtle, she was a healer not a damn interrogator. Its why she wasnt a freaking death, she was not SNEAKY. "You were the first person i saw that i knew and i was just wondering what happened in october because... well. Frankly? I dont exactly remember hardly anything about it." Which he might take as just memory loss over time but.... truthfully? She really did not remember anything. Her memory was wiped mostly after the....incident.

The past two people he had 'interviewed', hadn't been obvious suspects in his book. But this one? If Jason was going to point the finger anyone (and had the guts to do so), it would of been Caelius. He had no regard for their wellbeing, regularly threatened them with death, and had even attacked them before, or sent them away to die a slow painful death.
For Jason, it was a no brain-er.
However, standing at the front of Caelius office, the moon trainee was having serious doubts of trying to ask the Death lead anything. He had no desire to be anywhere near him, for fear he wouldn't make it out alive. His palms were sweating underneath his gloves as he reached up to knock on the door, but didn't get that far, hands hovering. It was nerve wracking just being outside the door.
Slowly, he brought his fist to the door in a (very) light knock, and he opened the door. "...S....S...."
Uh oh, it looked like he lost his voice.
"....Sir!" He squeaked. He was now shaking as he stood before the death lead who was obviously ignoring him. "D-d-did y-y-ou...e-ever...w-wanttobeonthecouncil?"
When Caelius eventually replied, he was out the door with a scream.
