A strange, confused look came across Coll's face. "I... I would bring those items, if I knew what they were..." He scratched his head and shuffled his feet a little, still glancing from side to side like he'd robbed a bank and gotten away with it.
"What is juggling? And why are those people after me? Does it have something to do with these?" he asked quickly, pulling out the glowing objects. He still had to force his hands to stop moving, though he could feel the power from the items twitching through the muscles in his lower arms.

Glowing...
He could kick himself right now, if it weren't for the fact that he was already lying on the ground.
Just like Alex' bell...
"Would you believe my luck? Only when I'm banged up to pices do I get what I want... incredible."
He had sat up, maintaining the posture with as much willpower as he had left in him.
"Juggling is whe--- well, no that's not important right now. People everywhere are looking for what you have there. It has the power to change this whole world... believe it or not. And as long as you hold onto them..."
He lowered his head, coughing and getting rid of blood built up in his throat.
"As long as you hold onto them... more people will just keep coming after you. Maybe even bad people."
Yellowed eyes started up at the horseman, not even sure if he could give chase should the thing bolt.
"...I could help you. I just ask that you hand them over... please."
He didn't extend his arm or anything, nor did he look up at the creature as he spoke. His neck hurt too much so he was forced to stare at the ground.

Shaking himself a little, Coll finally noticed his own injuries, eyes widening in horror. What... what has happened to me? he thought to himself.
"I do not even know how I acquired these accursed things! If keeping them means that more people will hunt me down, I do not want them!" he shouted, indignant at having them originally forced upon him. Taking steps toward the man, he held out the glowing juggler's balls, eager to be rid of them for good, if only it meant that giving them away would get him home. Or anywhere but here.

Yellowed eyes widened ever so slightly as balls were thrusted into his face.
Oh behave.
"...Thanks."
Lifting his right arm up, his hand closed over the balls, grasping them firmly, lingering ever so slightly there before pulling his arm back.
The feeling that washed over his weakened body was a little thrilling, if not making him want to vomit his insides.
Having them for only 2 seconds and already he wanted to throw them away.
"You should get out of here... I don't know when those guys will be back... their pretty hard to kill. Humans I mean."
Scraping his left foot along the floor, he struggled to stand up to his feet.

As soon as the Petal left his hand, Coll's eyes rolled back, and an unearthly voice echoed from his throat.
"From the dawn of time, Temperance has ruled every living and non-living thing. The art of juggling arises as a perfect medium for such a virtue, as one must have balance of body, mind, and soul to perform at the best of their ability. Without proper balance, even the universe itself would fall apart. Use Temperance wisely, for even it must be used in moderation.
Come, Bearer of Petal. We must quickly go to the Temple of Destiny, before time runs its course." Coll motioned for the man to climb astride his back. It wasn't a request.

"...'ey... that's a pretty neat.. party trick.."
More than half delirious right now from all the blood he had lost as well as used, he half stumbled forward, before leaning down and clutching at something with his bare teeth.
He bit down tightly, holding onto his sheathed sword.
Stumbling some more forward, he made his way onto the horseman's back, grasping what he could with the crook of his right arm around the waist, while leaning forward and against the ********... everything's turning black...now..
For one that needed proper balance... Vahn sure had none of it at the moment.

Rider secure, Coll galloped north, in the direction of the Void, and the Temple of Destiny without another word.

There was a figure of a bright pink light that walked the streets of Durem. Behind her was a trail of flowers where she stepped, even in the concrete. Her hair flowed behind her like so many pink ribbons, even the crystalline wings at her back only served to make her even more surreal.
Crowds gathered around her, only to step away again as she turned though deadly kohled eyes upon them. "Begone from my sight..." Throwing her hand back, the wind she created threw several into a nearby building.
"Psh...mortals.."

"Where are you....?" The figure looked around as if trying to figure something out...She then spotted the church.
"Perfect..."
She moved lightly, like a fairy herself through the rubble, any dirt that would have gotten on her simply dissolving into nothingness. Into the hole she dug was one simply item. Covering it back once more with dirt, she clapped her hands together with a loud sastified sigh before placing them at the air over the ground. A small humming sound could be heard as her energy poured into the ground.
"Come little one..."
The humming sound increased louder and louder while a stem popped through the ground, stretching towards the sky while the glowing pink woman continued cooing over it.

At least this time he was prepared.
For the fall that is.
Popping out of nothing but thin air, as folds upon folds of emptiness simply melted away, he found himself getting nothing but air.
Yellowed eyes widened, even as he tilted his body weight backwards, the front end of the flamberge rising accordingly.
"Okaaaay..."
With a heavy jolt, he kept his left arm wrapped around Alex' waist tightly, as the blade came grinding down along the cathedral's topmost spire.
Nothing but downhill from this point on.
Tiles and other peices of stone and hewed stone went flying intoa flurry of chips as he rode the blade downwards.
Twisting his hips, he turned the blade into a 360, spinning in mid air; his greaves apparently fused to the blade itself. Bending his knees, he hit the side of the cathedral's roof again, and ramped straight off a still standing gargoyle.
Catching nothing but air again, he held on as he began tilting backwards, the blade loosening from the soles of his greaves.
"Woooah, there!"

The minivan continued on from the void into the church grounds. Seeing the figure, Charles made sure the van was quickly fleeing away.

The minivan continued on its way. It wasn't prepared to take on such a force just yet.

A sharp intake of breath eachtime she realized there was nothing but air under Vahn's sword and a tensing of muscles were the only signs of nervousness that Alex showed. How he managed to board like that while carrying another human being and several bags, she would never know. She found it to be quite impressive though.

More human than human.
Vahn lived his life much like he fought his battles; with every breath as if it would be his last. Treating every single moment like it was the end had allowed him to get through near everything.
There was no use for fear.
No time for regret.
Just throw yourself forward and make the best of it.
His carelessness was so reckless that it bordered on damn near suicidal.
And it was all just another thrill for him.
Sun... I'll definitely...
Catching the side curving of another downward sloping spire, he rode along, sparks and the sound of grinding metal sounding out loudly.
...I'll definitely find you--- so hang on!
Kicking out with his left foot once more, he pushed off the roof, and began arching donwards, headed for street level.
With another sharp jolt, he went crashing and sliding along grass and overturned earth.
He'd landed smack dab in the church's cemetery.
"Woooo~"
Sliding to a halt, he hip turned and stopped altogether, a long steaming trail leading from the ground up all along the cathedral's roof and spires, show casing his descent.
"Harder than I thought."
He said as he shook out the numbness from his left arm and hand.
He stared up at the Cathedral, the hole in it's side from when he flew into it staring right back at him.
"You alright?"
He asked Alex, even as he cocked his head to the side at the disturbing humming. Pretty soon he was covering his ears with both hands.

Alexiel quickly followed suit, covering her ears as she looked up at him. 'I'd be better if it wasn't for that bloody noise...' Alexiel sent him. It would be much easier to speak mentally than out loud. What was that blasted noise?
