Nihilistic_Impact ((Umm... Owle how can you not perceive the threat of someone aiming with the intent to harm with a weapon designed to knock out tanks? Greg, I ment your actions would be in responce to Owle saying something. There is the whole entire switch from no hostile to hostile mind patterns going on here.)) ((First you argue that I shouldn't be sensing him, now you argue I should? Owle doesn't perceive hostile or unhostile. All her senses tell her is "Oh, look, there's a mind over there. And one over there, and one over there, and another over there..." Unless you're thinking really, really loud, angry thoughts, she wouldn't be able to tell you were hostile from just that kind of glance. Or if you're thinking about/toward her. She'd have a better chance of noticing you and taking a closer look, then. If you still say you want me to notice you, I'll take that chance and thank you for it. But ICly I'm not sure Owle would.))

((Okay... Well then, that description sinks my normal idea of what a six sense is. Well I'll just wait for Fen to post and we'll get something going.))

((I'm back for about 35 minutes or so.))
opaj grinned at Owle. "I'm sure of it."
Of course, he had no idea that there was a cannon pointed at his head.
((opaj's sense doesn't kick in automatically- he has to choose to use it. However, opaj did use it in the last moments of his fight with Gamma, so he would have noticed if someone was crouching 8 yards away. 80 yards is a different matter- he might have picked up Gammu if he had been searching for him, but he was concetrating on other things.
The more you know.))

((Okay.))
Opening a comm link to Gamma, "Standar procedure." Sending a click between a burst of static he lowered his aim so that the projectile would strike six meters infront of them. It would be enough to through some earth into the air and get their attention. Pulling the trigger the air broke with a howling whistle as the anti tank round ramned itself into the ground infront of the pair.

Gamma burst back from around the corner, timing it with the impact. Hopefully they'd expect Gamma to have rigged something while they were blind.
Back again he charged at them at a jog, unslinging the riogun from behind.

((I'll just carry on, since I'm not sure of the post order (if any), and Owle has stepped out for a bite to eat. Unless Gregory's still around (and willing to put his life on the line for a stranger xp ), opaj seems to be on his own for the time being.))
opaj jumped back instinctively. When his feet again touched the ground, Utou was drawn in his right hand while his left arm covered his feet. "Take cover!" he yelled, bolting in the direction opposite Gamma's last sighted location as he drew the double-edged Keppashiri in his off-hand.
[Addendum]
opaj halted in his tracks, suddenly aware that he was being followed. He spun around and moved towards the fence closest to where the sniper was (hoping to hide from view, unaware of their infrared capabilities). He kept his eyes trained on the riotgun, doing his best to stay out of the line of fire.

The ground seemed to explode around them. Immediately he dropped prone on the ground and began searching for the source of the disturbance. The first person he spotted was one of the large individuals from earlier moving towards them, sporting a large gun. He made sure to stay aware of the man's movements as he began a spell, ready to break off the cast should the man attack from that range.
Den Cordov The ground a couple of feet in front of the large man seemed to shimmer, signifying Gregory's magical manipulation of the earth there. He was accounting for the remaining time required to cast the last rune, much as a sniper leads his target. Klend
The earth erupted upward into a viscious looking four foot tall, one foot thick spike at the spot Gregory had been focusing on.
((To remove any ambiguousness, this is directed at Gamma))

An impact that shook the ground beneath her feet left Sarielle momentarily frozen, as an unnatural wind, carrying with it the dust from the blast, caught her up in it.
Well, she'd asked for chaos, hadn't she?
Shifting her satchel so it didn't interfere, the woman slowly took flight. The usually instinctive ability was rendered no such thing by her waterlogged feathers; and her long brown hair had trapped more liquid, making her even heavier. But pressing her lips together and gritting her teeth with the effort, she remained aloft. She'd been given this new ability for a reason...she was going to make use of it.
She hoped the air and clouds of dirt that came with it would hide her presence. She wanted chaos...but she didn't necessarily want to be caught up in it herself.
She didn't have to go far before she came to an area where the dust hung too thickly for her to see the ground, an ominous vapor that seemed disinclined to dissapate.
She hung midair, indecisive. Descend, and find out the cause? Or stay here, and watch...
As usual, she chose the sidelines.
[I'm slipping her in, but she shouldn't interrupt the flow of people already involved. *nod nod*]

Nothing had proven really effective right now, and jumping again was out of the question. Dashing towards the suit she had assaulted earlier once again, this time unscheathing his purple-hilted katana. Not that one would notice at such a point, but it was a bit longer and wider than the average katana - this one remained just an inch or two above the ground as she ran, kicking to her right (the suit's left) at the last moment to try to loop to it's side and make a heavy strike at the suit's waist.
