Manta peeked over the edge of the wall, immediately wishing he hadn't a moment later. The explosion made by the first attacks paled in comparison to this. In the span of half a second, the wave of ash literally blew up, sending a sheer wave of heat that singed the hair on Manta's arms and made his eyes water, followed by a far more physical wave of hot ash, that caught in his throat, causing him to choke and cough. It seemed the entire world was just blackened ash. After a few frightening moments of choking and thinking he would die, Manta managed to mostly clear his throat. Standing up, he wiped some ash off of his grey, soot-covered face, blinking in pain before looking on.
There was little left. The hot ash had burnt through every single clone, as well as corroding the walls to the point that the first two had crumbled. Manta was more interested in the third however. He approached it carefully, making sure not to step on any hot piles of ash that would burn his feet. When he arrived at the thick dirt wall, he brushed his hand over it, checking it for any obvious signs of weakness. Finding none, he pulled his hand back, then just as suddenly, spun into a back-kick, his heel crushing through the wall far more easily than it should have been able to.
"Katsu, check this out. First two walls are totally melted through, and the third one is severely weakened, I think this technique is refined enough for actual use. We just need to be able to execute it safely, preferably behind a wall or some shelter. Any ideas?"
Manta waited for an answer, meanwhile brushing the remains with his hand. While they weren't as hot as the other walls, they were still cleanly melted through, the ash acting like an acid and punching holes through the compacted earth.

Once the big ball of flame went off Ryuu noticed that he was a little closer than he should have been. He moved the dragon back a bit more and it seemed that the ashes weren't going to effect him. Ryuu watched in awe as the ash burnt through the first two walls and weakened the last one. It was pretty amazing, however he noticed that his sensei was coughing pretty hard. Ryuu took a minute to study him and figured that he had breathed in some of the ashes. Ryuu jumped off the dragon and quickly made his way over to his sensei. He would then pull out a canteen from his backpack and hand it to Manta. "Gargle and spit it out, get as much as you can out. Did your throat get burned from the ashes or did you just swallow colder ashes?" Ryuu said to Manta. If he did get burned he was going to have to heal him but, that would be somewhat easy.

"That...that seems a bit tricky." Katsu was not sure that he had any jutsu in his repertoire that could defend him and Manta against such an explosion; this one had already taken quite a lot out of Katsu, and he wasn't even that close. The Uchiha's mind wandered to the information he found out about his sharingan. It was rumored that the Mangekyo had a technique that would be able to defend the user from virtually anything. "If only I could achieve it...." Katsu muttered the words silently to himself as he looked at Manta. The pair had done quite a bit of training today, and Katsu was convinced that they had done enough. However, he was always aware that he was the lazy one out of the two jounins. ₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪ •“Weaklings don't get to choose their way of death."•

Manta, seeing that his friend was clearly tired, relented, doing as Ryuu had recommended and spitting out a few globs of cold ash."Thankfully nothing hot, Ryuu, I'm fine, thank you though. I just need to hack out a few more of these."
The older Jounin stood up, stretching his back."I think this is definitely good for one day," he said, smiling."Time for some dinner with the other ninja, eh Katsu?"

Ryuu nodded to his sensei. "It's fine. Just doing my job as a medic nin. Ryuu said as he looked over his shoulder to the dragon. No point in keeping that here anymore. Ryuu thought to himself. Then the dragon would shatter into millions of tiny crystal fragments. Ryuu yawned a bit as it did. He didn't expect that to tire him so much but, he still wanted to do a little more training. Something that was much easier though.
Amount of Shiruhayai/Quicksilver On Hand - 1 foot diameter sphere Kawarimi no Jutsu Cool Down - Ready
Hikaru entered the training grounds as per usual his face was blank as he stood tall and moved with pride and purpose into the gennin area. His goal was simple to train up a technique and do it without anyone seeing him. After walking for a short distance and passing several groups of people he found a nice little hidden spot behind sheaf of rock, this is the spot he decided where he would train his new technique.

Katsu's breathing became rugged as he deactivated his sharingan. To be honest, he had no idea that he would be using this much chakra; he needed to take a break, especially with the huge explosions occurring every few minutes. He smiled once Manta implied that they were done. "Yea Manta. Sorry, but I'm a bit exhausted." As Manta mentioned dinner, Katsu remembered about the plans he had initially set up. If Mata was as the training grounds, Katsu expected all of the other people to be scattered around the village as well. He didn't really feel like hunting them down, but he figured it would come to that sooner or later.

Amount of Quicksilver On Hand - 1 foot diameter sphere Kawarimi no Jutsu Cool Down - Ready
Hikaru focused for only a second taking a deep breath and allowing his mind to go blank. He took control of his magnetic chakra and willed it to draw the Shiruhayai or quicksilver out of its gourd from the back of his belt. At first he went through his normal preparation techniques forming the Quicksilver into a one foot diameter ball and rotating it around himself before breaking it into 4 parts each would become a 4 inch diameter ball rotating around him in different angles so that they never crossed paths but could easily defend any section of him at a whim. Then he proceeded to break each of the four spheres down into four parts each making a total of sixteen one inch diameter spheres. The formed four rings around him moving in perfect symmetry as if Hikaru were the earth and the spheres were his satellites. With no hesitation and in the span of a single second all the balls shot through the air to a space ten feet in front of Hikaru and formed back into a single one foot diameter ball.
Taking another deep breath Hikaru began to practice his new technique. At first he played with the magnetic fields a little bit trying to figure out just the right amount of power to control to get his goal. When he was satisfied he drew the ball back to him letting it hover just above, and of to the side, of his right shoulder. He turned to face a boulder about thirty yards away. It would make a suitable target, and it would be easy enough to figure out his accuracy with it. He focused and a small ball of Shiruhayai separated from the original sphere, the new ball was equivalent to one fourth of an inch of the original ball. He focused for only a second condensing the ball, then shaping it into a ballistic projectile hardening and condensing it. The result was a bullet like shape of extremely dense and hard metal. He decided to take the next steps slowly, first begin the somewhat slow rotation of the bullet, then focusing on his target, and utilizing an extremely powerful magnetic push he fired it at the target. He hit the boulder near the top and the bullet chipped off a rather large chunk before burying itself in the ground behind it.
This was a depressing result though; he had been aiming to hit the target dead center and had been hoping to shoot straight through it. He focused and the original bullet shot back out of the earth and over to him, upon close examination he could see that the head had been blunted on impact. Focusing for a second he reshaped it before positioning it for another shot at the boulder. This time he went through the process much quicker creating the proper spin and power in a microsecond before releasing it. This time he aimed lower it struck dead center and pierced the rock with ease before flying out of the other side and burying itself once again in the ground. It was significantly harder to retrieve the Bullet this time, it had shattered inside the boulder and come out like a shotgun blast, as he pulled the fragments out of the ground the boulder collapsed with a very satisfying sound. Once his total amount of Quicksilver had been retrieved he focused and drew it back into the gourd on the back right side of his belt before easily capping it.
He wasn’t tired so he decided to continue training in his little hideaway. The next phase of his training however entailed being able to summon a larger quantity of quicksilver. This part would be difficult as it was already hard enough to summon just a little bit of quicksilver. He took a deep breath and relaxed preparing himself for the next phase of his training.

Amount of Quicksilver On Hand - 1 foot diameter sphere Kawarimi no Jutsu Cool Down - Ready
Hikaru stood ready he kept his relaxed composure as he went over the summoning technique in his head again. In truth it shouldn’t be too much of an issue for him to perform the moderate summoning. He was used to summoning the other amounts so this one should simply take more chakra. Then the quicksilver would be transported from the proper vat at home and appear on the battle field. Theoretically he should be able to just do it, however as with anything, it would not be that simple.
Utilizing a drop of quicksilver from the gourd he pricked his thumb, having changed it to a small needle. He let this drop retreat back into the gourd pulling the cap in at the same time. He quickly wiped the blood on his left palm while rapidly preforming the hand seals, extending his left hand out, Hikaru focused a large amount of chakra to the spot. Black lines shot through the air with his palm at the center of the complex summoning seal. Whereas most summons’ would use smoke here to cover up the action Hikaru chose not to do this instead the liquid quicksilver would come pouring out. Flooding down towards the ground, he took control of it before it could hit and brought it around his back and over his right shoulder to form a spherical ball in front of himself. He allowed the summoning to proceed slowly and when it was done he was disappointed, he had succeeded in bringing out the small summoning.
Sighing he released the summoning allowing the liquid to return to his home. He thought for a second on what might have gone wrong. He knew he had used enough chakra so that wasn’t the problem. After a few moments thought he had it. It was the intensity of the chakra, instead of expelling it like he normally did he would have to blast it out all in one go to get the moderate summoning to work. He took position and with only a slight provocation got his right thumb to once again weep blood. Dragging a line over his left palm he formed the seals before once again shoving his left hand forward. And even though the summoning seal was identical he knew he had done it this time. The Quicksilver exploded out in a violent stream. This time catching it all was much more difficult, he had trained with the moderate amount before but it still tired him out quickly. He drew the stream around himself and up in front of himself forming it into a ball. Once complete it was a ten foot diameter ball of slowly revolving quicksilver.
He was quite proud of himself, and it was honestly taking a lot of his concentration just to keep the ball up in the air. Relaxing his mind he released the summon allowing the liquid to return home. Sighing lightly as the strain lifted from his body he decided that now might be a good time for a nap. Moving around to the other side of the rocks he was hiding behind he saw a sparring match in progress. Looking up at the clouds he realized that a few hours had passed since he started training.

After a blast it seemed they were wrapping up, and as one of the ninja began to give medical treatment he couldn’t help but notice the crystalline dragon as it shattered. He searched his memory of the gennin roster he had looked at and figured this team was Sand One, it was actually the squad he had requested. He decided that now might be a good time to introduce himself, so he walked over to where the trio was standing. He was for the most part silent, but his angle insured that at least the medical nin would see him. Once he was about ten feet away he decided to speak. "That was one hell of a fight."His tone was neutral but someone with keen hearing could detect the compliment in it, in truth Hikaru really sucked at talking to others he had never really fit in with people and that didn't seem to be changing to quickly.

The young Genin Beck Zarichi quietly entered the Sunagakure Training Grounds, it was his first time in this area since becoming a Genin. The area was very familiar to him as he spent a tremendous amount of his free time training in at this place. Beck loved to train and today was going to be another training day for the young Zarichi boy. Beck found a nice quiet area to begin his training, making sure to distance himself from the Jounin Katsu Uchiha and the former ANBU Coordinator Mantama Kaseyoda as to not disrupt their conversation. When he was finally ready he quickly performed some hand signs (Boar → Dog → Bird → Monkey → Ram) and slammed his hand into the ground. Beck was sent flying sideways as soon as his hand came off the ground because out the puff of smoke he created a giant blue paw smashed into the side of his head."You got to be faster then that my boy,"the blue tiger creature yelled at his summoner. Beck pulled himself off the ground and shook the cobwebs that the tiger had created."Zarichi Tiger! How good it is to always see your shining smile,"Beck shot back as he approached the grinning Sabertooth Tiger that was standing proudly in the spot that Beck had summoned him."You really have gotten a lot stronger since the last time I summoned you! That actually kind of hurt this time,"Beck smiled as he got near Zarichi Tiger."I wouldn't stand to close my boy or I might have to bite your arrogant head off,"the tiger said as Beck began to pat the tiger on his head."My aren't we just a bag of sunshine today! You really need to chill out cat. Want some Sake?"Beck asked as he reached back and opened the main pocket of his backpack and pulled out a bottle of sake."Aren't you like 15? You can't drink! Give me that!"The tiger yelled as he attempted to knock the bottle of sake from the boy's hand. Beck managed to pull back just in time to save the bottle. He quickly took the top over of it and downed the entire bottle in a matter of second."Don't tell me what to do,"Beck groaned out as the effects of the sake were already beginning to hit the boy."Oh man! This can't be good,"Zarichi Tiger said as he began to back off a few paces. Beck's head began to bob lower and lower, his eyes rolling to the back of his head as he falls to his back side. He raised his head, a stupid grin spread across his face. Beck's eyes were glazed over, but still strangely locked sharply on Zarichi Tiger. The tiger backed off another few paces as Beck got up to his feet, his legs wobbling and shaking as he stood in a fighting stance. Beck then exploded forward, launching a surprisingly quick three punch combination. It seemed like just a set up though as Zarichi Tiger bobbed and weaved easily out of the way of the punches only to be set-up up perfectly a hard round house kick to the side of his skull. Zarichi Tiger tumbled sideways, but quickly composed himself and got back to all fours."I see you have mastered the Drunken Fist! Your mother must be so proud of you. It doesn't matter though because I will still spank you like the child you still are,"the tiger yelled at Beck. Zarichi Tiger shot forward, tackling Beck to the ground, biting and clawing at his face. Beck threw his fist out clipping the tiger on the side of his mouth and causing him to leap away to safety. Beck wobbled to his feet and put his hand out towards the tiger, waving him on and trying to bait him into getting close. Zarichi Tiger was a little smarter then that however and decided to use one of his summoners techniques against him. The tiger disappeared in a puff of smoke, thanks to the Body Flicker technique, and reappeared right in behind Beck. The tiger threw out his left front paw, incasing it in rock with the Earth Release: Fist Rock Technique and smashing it into the back of Beck's head. The boy flew forward, crashing and tumbling and coming to a dead stop under a pile of rubble. The tiger grinned at his handy work as he approached the area that the boy had landed in. The grin faded quickly when the tiger found that a wooden log was in the place that he previously thought the boy had landed. Zarichi Tiger frantically looked around, not wanting to get caught off guard by Beck. He looked up and down, left to right, but the boy was no where to be found. Then out of no where Beck hit the tiger from multiple angles at a ridiculous speed, knocking the tiger out cold. Beck managed to pull off his Kekkei Genkai technique, the Swift Release: Shadowless Flight Technique, and Zarichi Tiger was no match for it at all. Beck fell to the ground, closing his eyes tight and quickly falling asleep. Hopefully no danger was around because Beck was out cold.

I GIVE YOU...
Manta, seeing all of the other genin arrive at the Training Grounds, began to feel a bit claustrophobic. There were way too many people here to train, and with the amount of fighting going on, Manta was likely to bump into someone and mess up their concentration. Better to just leave.
Motioning for Katsu and Ryuu to join him, the older Jounin picked up his small pack and began to walk down the steps, leading back into the village streets. He was hungry, it was getting colder, and it would do no good if he and his companions were late.

I still have some training to do. Ryuu said to his sensei even though he was pretty exhausted. He then heard someone say something about a fight. Ryuu looked around and didn't notice a fight but, he looked towards the person that said it. "I don't think there was a fight but, I'm sure it was a good one. My name is Ryuu Saito. May I ask of your name? Ryuu said in a polite tone to the stranger.

Hikaru had to try hard to not roll his eyes, clearly he had misunderstood the situation from the little he had seen. "I was referring to your teams training, though it seems it was just that, I assumed their was combat involved due to, whom i assume was your Sensei, needing medical treatment." He spoke quickly and quietly even though he wore a mask his voice carried quite easily, after a shot pause to catch his breath he continued in the same tone."My name is Kiyoshi Hikaru, would I be correct as identifying you as a member of Sand one?"He didn't extend a hand as would be customary, or even bow, which formal standards would demand, mostly because at current Ryuu was in his perfect range, about ten feet away he would be hard pressed to counter if Hikaru decided he needed to attack.

Ryuu looked over to where his sensei was training with the other jounin, Katsu, he thought he heard his sensei say.
