Scaling the tower more, Jericho heard the voice speaking yet again. And he couldn't help but sneer at its words. His kingdom? There was nothing left of it. Even if he cared anything for it at this point, considering it was not real, the Voice had demolished it. He was already in the process of being discarded. It was why he died fighting. He had no other purpose but to die for his so called kingdom. That was not really much of an existence to him. And now Jericho could hear a hint of desperation within the Voice. It was offering him power. Anything he wanted. It sounded more like begging him to stop. It felt empty. The Voice had nothing left for him that he wanted. But that wasn't to say that there wasn't a small bit of temptation within him, to take the offer. The voice sounded as though it was growing weary. Disappointment? Jericho had plenty of that within him now. He wasn't sure if he could be disappointed any further. Being told that you are nothing but a shadow of a being. A fake. A fragment... That was already pretty damn disappointing to hear.
