Molding and Solidifying the armor does take a bit of time. It's not something he can do on an instantaneous whim. And during this time, he requires full concentration to successfully craft the items. Full concentration can be wavered (slightly) with time and practice to allow minor distractions or VERY mild pressure. The items he uses for his... "craft" have to be completely maneuverable to start to allow "molding" with ease. Such as Wisteria (or the Telrunya equivalent of Wisteria) vines or jungle vines. Flora such as flowers or mushrooms would not be considered good "crafting" materials. Blades of grass Could prove useful in making thinner sheets of armor covering if woven and solidified accordingly, but it would most likely break under certain amounts of pressure. As the items are Solidified, he'd have to craft them in such ways that allow for dexterous movement while wearing the items. There will likely be many trial and error pieces leading up to his perfected ones to allow such movements.

While in Peacock form he can summon roots from the ground and have them weave into his tail to use as a sort of shield. Weakness: Fire kills the roots, they can only take so much damage from other attacks. If he needs to move and block on the run, the shield is weaker because he's having to rip the roots from the ground, which is the primary energy source. (I'd imagine the root shield is a bit stronger if he's able to stand in one place so the roots are still connected into the ground.) Link to most recent completed RP: X

Pae'il Name: Maple Sugar Power Category: 5; Terrakin Chosen Power Name: Sugar Maple Power Description: Bonded with the sugar maple tree, Maple Sugar has taken on several of its characteristics. As the sugar maple thrives in cold weather, Maple Sugar will have an increased tolerance for cold. As the sugar maple produces sap used to make maple syrup, Maple Sugar can produce a sweet, sticky substance that can be used to sweeten foods and drinks. Plus she always smells vaguely of maple candy. The bark of the sugar maple has historically been used to treat coughs, Maple Sugar's maple syrup will also be useful to treat minor coughs. She can shift into a "tree" form for camouflage. Weakness: Any injuries sustained in tree form are retained when she shifts back. The maple syrup she produces can only be produced while in tree form, and producing it drains her very life force. A little bit taken won't hurt her, but too much will leave her feeling woozy and fatigued, much like someone donating blood would. As trees tend to stay rooted, each time Maple Sugar shifts into her tree form, it becomes more and more tempting not to shift back. The Great Tree, so deeply rooted, had a feeling of permanence that resonated with her, especially so soon displaced from her home. The thought of a fresh start her excites her--new beginnings in a new place! And it hadn't escaped her notice that Laisidhiel had a much higher ratio of males to femmes. Much more favorable than back in Equestria.
It had been easy for her to find a twig of the Great Tree. They were all around if one looked for them! She'd carved her name into it with a little knife, wondering at how similar the Faunies' written language was to the Laisidhiel Fauns', even though they'd lived apart forever. It had been said that the Faunies were all from here anyway, lost seeds or something. Maybe it was just in their bones. She watched the twig catch fire and burn, smiling as the smoke made curling wisps in the air. It's a little sad to watch her twig burn away, but its ashes were collected into something even more special--a quintessence.
Eager to put down roots again, Maple Sugar stands at the ceremony when it is her turn. She comes forward and receives her quintessence, nestled in a hand-carved bowl. It's plain, but beautiful. She likes it. She sips the seed-like orb into her mouth and swallows all at once. It tastes and smells of green growing things, and for a moment she's reminded of Equestria in springtime. It feels like home.

Pae'il Name: Fluttershy Power Category: Terrakin Chosen Power Name: Fuzzy Wuzzy (Grizzly Bear) Power Description: Fluttershy has bonded to the Grizzly Bear, giving her a grizzly companion to accompany her in all her journeys. The bear acts as a guardian, able to keep her safe from most sensible dangers and can withstand a fair bit of damage. Weakness: His protection can only go so far, hes not invincible. Obviously things that could seriously damage or hurt him will. He occasionally gets real stiff, causing Flutter to have to go all kung fu to work out the kinks. Fluttershy glanced around nervously, her hands trembling as she bit back squeaks of terror. As hard as she tried, she couldn't quite calm herself down, even if it was just something as simple as a Faun ceremony. So many fears crashed through her mind.
What if she messed up? Or dropped the bowl? What if it didn't work and everyone started laughing at her again?
No..no... she had to remain strong. You can d-d-do this... F-flfuttershy... she told herself mentally. If her best friends could do it, then surely she could. Reaching out, she tentatively took the bowl in her hands, trying hard not to shake and spill it everywhere. Bringing it to her lips, she took a sip, shutting her eyes.
Her body seemed to relax on its own, her nerves settling as something spoke out in her mind.
Terrakin.
Blinking open her eyes in shock, a strange joy spread through her she couldn't understand. Terrakin! That.. that meant animals.. right?! Oh she hoped so, this couldn't be more perfect! The yellow pegasus let out a tiny squeak of joy as she handed the bowl back, only able to grin at the strange look the others gave her. "Oh... sorry.....yaaay!"
Pae'il Name: Avidan Power Category: 2, Healer Chosen Power Name: Bone Restoration Power Description: Avidan can heal fractured and diseased bones with a touch Weakness: His healing abilities do not extend to any other sort of body tissues, for example, in a compound fracture he'd be able to restore the bone, but not any surrounding tissues damaged by the break. Link to most recent completed RP: The ritual had seemed simple enough. Only a little bit intimidating to be surrounded by the most powerful people in the tree. He wasn't fazed. Not a bit. The trembling in his knees was obviously just the result of not having eaten yet today. No. He was calm, confident, everything he should be when being granted his powers. Right? Right.
His sharp exhale might have betrayed a degree of nervousness. In a lesser faun. Demon. Gargoyle. He shook his head as he walked. This was what he had chosen, the ancient elementals. No point in bothering with the Order of the Light, right? They seemed more than a little bit too highly strung for his liking, not that the fauns didn't have their fair share of rules. He didn't entirely understand the purpose of having so many people present for his ritual, but he wasn't going to question that. At least not right now. In spite of his mixed blood, they'd always made an effort to include him. And that meant a lot to someone who had never seen another quite like himself.
Avidan nodded respectfully to the Inner Circle. One thing he was certain of, these Pae'il had given him a home. And regardless of what he was, he was going to defend it. The odd sensation of the quintessence entering his body was almost overwhelmed by the churning in his gut as the rest of the community watched him. He sincerely hoped he didn't make any strange faces as it went down, or at least that the others wouldn't comment on any strange faces he made. Handing the bowl back, he turned toward the gathered fauns, he was a healer. And it was time for him to take his own place amongst his people.
Maybe after he sat down for a while.

Pae'il Name: Delyth Power Category: Terrakin Chosen Power Name: 1) Chameleon - Delyth has bonded with the chameleon, giving her the ability to control the pigments of her skin, wings, and hair. She can also move her eyes independently of one another to focus on two different objects at the same time.
2) Gecko - Delyth has bonded with the gecko and can climb smooth and vertical surfaces with ease. She has excellent night vision and does not need to blink. Power Descriptions: 1) For changing her skin, think of Ralph from Monster's Inc. Changing her color is not immediate and generally requires a huge deal of concentration to do. Moments of surprise, frightening situations, or pain may cause her to change her color without intending to.
Her eyes have monocular depth perception, can move independently of one another, and her brain can process what is going on.
2) She has adhesive padding on her fingers and, to a lesser extent, hooves that she can use to climb surfaces. It is also possible for her to remain on them, even upside down.
Her eyes are 350 times more sensitive to light than the human eye, and her irises enlarge in the dark. There is a transparent membrane covering her eyes that prevents water loss and the need to blink. Weaknesses: 1) Consciously changing colors requires a degree of concentration and has a time lag. The same is said of changing back to her normal coloration. When she changes, she only copies the material immediately behind her in that span; if something changes behind her or if she moves, the colors do not immediately change with this. Practice may help her to more easily and more quickly control it, but there will always be some lag time.
She sees the world differently than other pae. While she can focus on the same object with both eyes at the same time, it will never be the same. She is also more easily overstimulated when the sights around her are quickly changing or especially vibrant.
2) Her hooves are more for support than anything when climbing, so staying is mostly done with her upper-body strength. She will need to improve it in order to do it more easily and for longer periods of time. It will also be possible for her to become out of shape. And have her endurance deteriorate when not used.
With this light sensitivity, she has more difficulty seeing in very bright places, and strong light can give her a bad headache through over-stimulus. If she does not blink for a period of time, dust and dirt may settle on her eyes and hamper her vision. She will need to clean it out with water to see properly again. When the pair are together, one may perform a whistle (not unlike the call of a normal bluebird), but this call consists of a particular series of tones, which must then be echoed by the other to have any effect. This echoed call may be used to cleanse a Pae'il of Taint, or if they are untainted, to ease the mental pains or troubles of a normal Pae'il. Weakness: The two must be together and perform the call exactly for the ability to have any affect. The call is complicated and any err in the tone will negate any effects.
