Scarves seemed like a nice idea. A warm, happy idea. In particular, she liked the grey scarf with the red swirl, so she paid for one fo those from the booth and looped it around her waist on top of the white cute sweater. After that, she tried to inquire about matching colours; observing what she was intended to do, Amarus looked through the different strings and fabrics, and after a couple tries she thought she'd settled on one that looked fairly nice.
Thackery seemed more than a little pleased with himself at the acknowledgement that his very first attempt at picking a thread to go with the fabric was a flawless victory.

Van had been through enough in the Caterpillar's smoky kiss-filled pink-smoked cute domain that he thought he deserved (on top of the sheer number of cupcakes he'd licked, tasted or sniffed at least) a treat. And that treat came in the way of a very lovely-looking scarf with a skull sewn into it.
He made the exchange happily, and then rifled through material to see if anything matched even better. He did this while wearing the other scarf, because he loved being warm. He really, really loved it. Yeah, no-- he'd just be happy being warm with this scarf; who was he kidding, he had absolutely no eye for fabrics.
[[OOC: 100 seeds, -30; 70 left. I think I was at 100. I may have had a few more OTL but there's not much time left so... don't think I'm gonna use more than this today razz
Ricar plunked another five seeds on the table. For all this trouble, maybe he should have just bought a pre-made one. Heck, with all the seeds he spent, he could have afforded a few scarves.
Shik hated life. He wasn't sure why he was going to a booth obviously hosted by conquest horsemen when a pair of them had bought him off as their slave (for a handful of seeds). Maybe he wanted to buy something just for the sake of tearing it up. Actually that sounded just delicious the more he thought of it . . . Petty and vindictive, yes, but Shik had nothing but negative thoughts at the moment.
Which was probably why his first go around had . . . wild results.
((91 - 15 = 76 seeds))

Eventually Taima wandered back over to the scarf booth, unable to resist the lure of pretty. She was determined to pick a color combination that worked, choosing and rejecting threads seemingly at random for what seemed like forever. When she finally stopped, it was with a hum of consideration and, eventually, a nod. "How about these?" Taima asked, holding the threads out to the ghoul running the booth.
Then again, he was an executioner. Fabric and color match ups weren't exactly his forte.
Still, Shik's fifth try garnered something useful, or at least it didn't look quite as ghastly as his other attempts. Wordlessly he handed it over to the pair, looking ready to just spread his wings and get out of the school the second the scarf was finished.
................okay maybe that was enough. Looking flustered, the baku rubbed the back of her head. Matching things was definitely not her forte today, that was for sure!
