Although she licked her lips and swiped up another finger-full of frosting, Jay cleaned her hands so she could begin decorating. Tempted as she was to devour the frosting right here and right now, she was supposed to be using the icing to decorate her cupcakes, soggy as they were. The horsewoman couldn’t help but crinkle her nose. Would the icing make the cupcakes taste better? She certainly hoped so. She took a bag of icing and began to draw swirly designs on her cupcakes. Her tongue poked out slightly, but as the last of her icing was used, she leaned back and grinned, admiring her work. Not bad, not bad at all!

Okay, having a disembodied smile full of razor sharp teeth snatch a cupcake out of ones hand was slightly terrifying, especially when said cupcake really had nowhere to go yet somehow still managed to disappear. "Ooooooooo, coooooool! How'd you do that?" Alexander asked, tilting his head to his side and leaning in closer to the teeth, attempting to figure out how exactly. There was suddenly the feeling of weight in his hand, and when he looked down it was to a box that had replaced the cupcake that had been there before. He frowned a little in puzzlement, and glanced back up with the words. "Thank you..." on his lips, but there was nothing to be seen. ....... 2spooky. Ol-j-man Alex is free for more spirits

With a smile, Xiu passed the sign-up sheet over to Mort...just as Tseng started throwing his cupcakes around.
...Not again whhhhy.
Reaching out, she gently--but firmly--caught his wrists to stop him from flinging any more of his cupcakes around. "Yes, you have very extreme cupcakes," She assured him soothingly, smiling brightly despite her internal panic, "Why not take them outside to show people just how extreme they are? You've already shared them with everyone in this room, after all."
...And the room itself, if the gooey cupcake that was sliding down one of the walls was any indication.

"Um ...." Danny stuttered, tugging on Xiu's sleeve once more. This was sort of embarrassing? Danny was the local tomboil. Sure, she had her ghouly moments, but Danny was more boy than ghoul.
So baking? Reallllly ghouly. At least, with all the cute pastries and ghouly things. Danny didn't exactly have dainty fingers that could whip up something so delicate like that. She liked eating them- that counted right?
"Could I join ... your thing ... the um ... the club." she mumbled, looking at the ground. This was so awkward.

Danny would find herself on the receiving end of a big, cheerful smile at her request. "Of course! Mort and Alex just joined too," She gestured towards the two zomboils, "I'd be more than happy to welcome you to the club if you're interested in it!"
And indeed, she seemed extremely excited at the prospect of having Danny as a part of the baking club. Once Mort was done signing his name on the sign-up list, the sheet was promptly passed to fire demoness.

Louku peeked into the area that smelled delicious. The little cooking she had done was more the help with her 'Aunt' with her potions and philters. Wrinkling her nose at the instructions she grabbed a few flavors from what was available. Chocolate, french vanilla and strawberry were mixed in their own bowls and then swirled together into the cupcake pan. Lou had no idea how it would turn out but so far it smelled amazing. She slipped it into the oven and waited...
When the timer went 'ding' she peeked inside, sure that the base would be burned and was quite surprised. Not only did they look great but they smelled even better! She couldn't resist and ate one on the spot. Hopefully the judges wouldn't notice they were missing a cupcake.

After letting them cool for a moment, she dashed over to the icing table to mix up some icing. In keeping with her swirled scheme, she decided to make both strawberry and vanilla icings. Again, using two different bowls, she mixed up the ingredients and then covered the cupcakes...
After slathering on the vanilla, she drizzled the strawberry and then stepped back to admire her handywork. While some of the drizzle had gone a little astray, the over all affect wasn't too bad and she was quite proud of her work. Maybe all that time spent with 'Aunty' had steadied her hand. She hoped the judges would be just as impressed!

Last thing she needed to do was add a little pizzaz! Now this was the realm she felt most comfortable with. Snagging a few different things from the decorations table, she turned two of the cupcakes into one eating the other. Another two cupcakes got treated to the fairy-princess look and was covered in sparkles and the last few each had careful swirls added to them in a bright green, the colour contrasting with strawberry pink well.
They were not all of the same theme but at least each had character right? 65 + 12 = 77Louku is a guest for the event: [x]

Danny's face turned bright red as the club sheet was handed to her. Ahhh embarrassing. SO EMBARRASSING.
She scribbled her name on and handed the sheet back to Xiu. "Th-Thanks and stuff."

What had Gene done the second she and Frost were done cuddling and making plans to go see his tribal home? Bolted straight for the Baking Club, of course.
She was awful at baking, but it never really hurt to try, or at least learn a little bit about the process. Plus, the Baku she really wanted to be friends with was there, so why not?
"Xiu! Hi!" She gave the Baku a smiling wave, before looking around at the booth. Oh man, cupcakes. Those were easier than spookies, right...?
"You gals have a sign up sheet? I'd love to join~"

Cervantes bounded straight into the room, and he did not stop, not even once he was inside. He just bounded right up to Xiu and had to skid to a halt, his canvas-top sneakers squeaking faintly. There seemed to be good reason they were full of holes. His thick, dark tail swayed back and forth, and he smiled widely, his canine teeth on display. Once he'd caught his breath, he said, "Can I make baked goods? I would really love to bake, and, you know, um, eat them too! So if you don't mind I'll just--"
He didn't really wait for a reply, just grabbed an apron and pulled it on, flicking his ears excitedly and rubbing his hands together.
CUPCAKES. Van was a very happy puppy. He looked at the ghost ghoul asking the baku for a clipboard, "Don't you just love cupcakes? The smell is like heaven, I could smell it all the way through the halls." He didn't even actually go to make cupcakes, just hovered over everyone else, peering and picking and sniffing and, at one point when he thought no one was looking, he totally licked a bit of the icing off a finished cupcake.
Then looked around quick to see if anyone had noticed, the tip of his tongue still lingering on the sweet, sweet bliss.

Akhem wandered around aimlessly, trying to find something to do. It was then that he smelt the most wonderful thing in the world, cupcakes. He had a secret penchant for sweets. He walked otward the area that smelled so good. He saw the station where the smell was emanating from. It looked like you could.. make your own? This was going to be fun.
Akhem grabbed some strawberry mix and made the batter. He then proceeded to add the mix to a pan and pop i in the oven. Now was the wait....
and apparently he had waited too long. He didn't know HOW thy had gotten to be on fire, he had been standing in front of them. HE started yelling. That fire couldn't get near him! He backed away, as far as possible all the while yelling at people to put the fire out. He was NOT going to die today. The attendant came over and put it out. His cupcakes were a nice black. He was reluctant to touch them.

Well since he failed the making of the cupcakes so beautifully, he decided to try and make the frosting better. He grabbed the ingredients, mixing them together. He wanted to make some nice vanilla frosting..
and it turned out pretty well. The frosting turned out to have a nice consistency.

Akhem decided to grab some sprinkles and create some intricate patterns. On two cupcakes he made out his favorite hexes. They were close to his heart and he wanted to honor them, even if they were on burnt cupcakes. He then proceeded to make some intricate patterns of swirls and eyes. He stepped back from his work satisfied.

"Welcome to the club, Danny!" She smiled warmly at the ghoul, and then perked up as someone else called her name. Turning, the baku's lips split into a grin at the sight of the ghost. "Gene, hi! And--ah, do you want to join?!"
Brightening, she immediately turned to hold the clipboard out to the other ghoul.
