maeanalda Sadly this one's old high schoo doesn't allow cat ears and such in school anymore... I'm pretty sure the ones i wore through 10th and 11th grade had something to do with it... and through part of 9th grade me and my friends had kitty tails... that was a good one to do. I'll cosplay and wear just about anything anywhere... in fact its odd for me to go to the other mall and not being the most different thing there... But you have have have to love it when the goth kids are staring in amazement. yea my school happens to not allow rubber ducky hair clips anymore. ...probably having to do with the one I wore last year... I miss Irving! But this year I'm going to get kitty ears!

Mask of Master Manabu - Sama I still have to get over the "what other people think" thing..If I seriously didn't care the slightest bit of what people thought, I would be wearing EGL every single damn day, tiara, angel wings and kitty ears and everything else included o.o..But the people in my school are so put-downish, and I can't go anywhere without seeing at least one person I know goes to my school..well..really it's mostly only guys who bother me with their staring and laughing..but hey so what? Atleast I don't wear XXXXXXXXL T shirts that reach down to my ankles and XXXXXL pants that start at my knees and hang half off my a** so you can see my spiderman boxers. sweatdrop The other thing that's stopping me is the price of the outfits gonk .. I don't know if that made any sense at all.. neutral About the XXXXXXL clothing, I find it annoying that they do that. I don't want to see everyone's boxers! And some of the girls at my school do that as well! gonk gonk The only time I'd dare to wear kitty ears, is on Halloween. You girls 'got balls! surprised (o.o not sure that came out right) People are still getting used to my boots (I call them my Kyo boots >_> <_<) Nonetheless, everyone loves them.

DivineFeline Heh. All my teachers loved my kitty ears. They made it easy to recognize me.Unfortunately, my cat made off with them. I think they are now under my bed, where I have to rearange my room to get them. But even after 3 months, the Vice principle thinks of me as the kitty girl. I feel sorry for all of you people with intolerant school administrators.
*whooo! I get to go shopping! Yay Value Villiage! whee I think it's so cute that your cat made off with your kitty ears. You should threaten him with stealing his ears.

Ayumi_Nemesis I go to a catholic school and twice a month we are allowed to dress out of uniform, Lots of times I've worn this pair of Gold fuzzy pants that used to be my dad's. Some ppl freak out, others rub my thighs (I like it! ^.^) I do that to my one friend with a fuzzy sweater. freaks her out when I come up from behind and randomly stroke her arm while exclaiming how warm and fuzzy she is. 3nodding

i've always been a huge fan of dressing however i feel when i wake up in the morning. sweatpants/pajamas, super dressy formalwear, punky or gothish clothing, things that clash horribly, full drag, clothes i used to wear as a small child, period costuming, weird makeup/jewelry/shoes/accessories/hair...the works. my schools have never been very strict (or forceful) about dresscodes, so i had a lot of room to wiggle with. more often than not, what i'm wearing fits with the general public's definitition of what "normal" 18 year old college freshman women are supposed to look like.
then there are those days when i dress how i feel, and amuse the hell out of myself and many of my weird and equally wacky friends. i don't come from a conservative area, so though i get a lot fo weird looks from people, it's rare for me to hear any really nasty comments or be given a hard time about the way i dress. smile

Its funny to hear/ see people's reactions when I dress up, and acctually a few days a go I was in the mall with my friends and wearing a black lolita outfit, an a bunch of guys walked by and afew were saying things like 'what an awesome outfit.' But...there have been one or two who are like wtf is she wearing? But whats the big deal?It doesn't really matter what others think it should be what you think about your clothes that matters(Or atleast thats my take on it sweatdrop ))

Just recently I got a new JSK and blouse on the day of a chior concer tof my sisters'. When I was there somebody asked me if it was for anything special, or just for them. xD Little did they know... =o it was wasn't for either. sweatdrop I got no bad remarks, though. =3

Eh, I don't dress really "lolita". I'm my own person (haha...believe me, it's true) I'm more of a studs and doc martens kind of girl. But yah, I've gotten stares, but a lot of people are pretty cool with me, nobody who they are or how they dress. I've gotten hash at school but I've never been told I couldn't wear something or I had to leave etc etc ((OK! I've been told to change or take stuff off but I never have and nothing happened. Hah!)) On the streets I get a lot of stares. Plus I've been told I'm going to Hell before Yay! You religion humpers... But yah, it's all good. And the stares make me laugh. My outfits change from day to day.

Wow... I've never actually worn anything lolita to school, or at all (because I'm tottaly broke sweatdrop ) but I can imagine if I did. Seeing as I'm one of the quiet types who hang out with some friends who wear some interesting things, and do some interesting things... well, the boys would have my head on a platter. But, well, it'd be good to freak out my class. Thats is why after the break, purple hair and loli-dresses for school! (take that you conformist little school!)

I don't get in trouble. I'm 21 so I'm far past high school, I don't really dress lolita here (here being school) mainly because I'd get cold. I live in a house with no real A/C so the schools A/C feels really cold to me. I dress in lolita when I'm out and about with friends mostly and I get stares by strangers, some ask me where I get my skirt, or boots. The clothes I mainly make myself, the boots I've obtained at hot topic. I have about 3-4 different outfits and I need to make more...hehe I got off topic. Small children stare the most, and they stare until I've walked away. I've caught people looking at me up and down as well. I do get nervous before I go out in lolita, but it's something I want to do, and I fear that I won't be able to do it for very long since I'm already in my 20s....luckily due to genetics I look younger than I actually am. Thank you mommy ^_^

I dress in lolita at school a lot and the lunchlady always says she likes my outfits. . . which is good because a job working there opened up and I got first priority~ (You gotta make money to pay for your frilly clothes!)

The first time I wore sweet loli to school I got tons of stares and lots of "you look so cute" or "are you alice in wonderland". It was great and even though I was nervous to begin I don't really care what others think, plus I love the attention ^^;

"Emo Alice" WTF? That's what Round Freshman calls me.
Yeah, I get crap, but hey, I don't know the people at my school, so I don't care.

The first time I wore my Sweet Loli clothes in public, my friend, Danielle, and her mom took me to Wendy's for dinner before going to our Anime Club.... some of the employees who were in the back were laughing at me, so I made mean faces.. sweatdrop I'm not very tolerant, so I'll be mean...
Then, we ended up going to Old Chicago another Friday, and I was dressed Loli. A lot of the waiters thought I was cute and I looked like Alice in Wonderland. An older man (around min 40's) was staring at me, so I stuck my tounge out spitefully... sweatdrop What a way to win friends and influence people...
Another time I dressed loli, was at Easter time this year. A lot of our family was there, and a cousin, who's only 13 days older than me, told me I looked like Alice in Wonderland, and my second cousin, Pam (She's in her early fourties) told me that I needed to take off the bow because I looked childish. I told her that she needs to leave me and my bow alone. I guess I stood out in the Family Easter picture, because you could really see me... sweatdrop I really don't care about other people's opinions, if they're insulting at least.
