 *Luuk is getting a name change. i'll keep using it for these races to keep it consistent and to avoid any confusion* gaining speed as he goes through the tall grass, he hopes the exit is near.. passing by the path where he saw the pfeffa, he didn't see the cat or the mouse.. this worries him.. but he pressed on, he could see familiar faces near the fence waiting for him. Ducking, he kept his head low and his body tight to the ground. Ears pressed against his back, he moved out of what he hoped was the dog's field of interest.

He watched for the cat, which he knew would also be prowling about. They were a little bit less of a threat than the big dog, but still not to be underestimated.

No sign of the pfeffa- but that didn't mean it wasn't there. He vaguely wondered if being a runner was worth these risks. There wasn't an easy answer.

He paced back and forth in the grass. He could see his runner approaching, and it looked as though the rabbit who had grabbed the carrot had gotten off safely. So far, so good!

His runner made it back to the Owsla-marli, and Sparrow let out a sigh of relief before turning around and joining up with the rest of the group. They'd made it!

*Luuk is getting a name change. i'll keep using it for these races to keep it consistent and to avoid any confusion* he came back , alive and unharmed, and instantly dropped the carrot at Althea's feet. he could hear other contestants call out to him but he did not feel like celebrating. quietly, he hops between the other bunnies, leaving the crowd unnoticed, and makes his way over to the pond. once there, he focused his attention at the sound of rustling leaves as the wind lightly blows through the forest, and wishes he could see Falcon again... teary eyed, he hops closer to the rusted abandoned tractor and huddles against it.. " i'll sleep out here tonight.." he said, and closed his eyes.

 Charcoal couldn't figure out if this was a good idea or a bad idea but he drew his straw to get his job assigned anyway. This was the last race he needed to finish after all. Chicken out now would just be ridiculous.

He was going to be a scout, whatever that meant. Patiently he listened to the rules and then hunkered down for his last race. Re realized briefly that this could be really, really dangerous. But then he figured that a real life a runner could be dangerous anyway.

Again he seemed to running his own race at his own speed. He wondered why speed was his issue. Didn't runners need speed?
