(Pokemon Fight ......1/8 posts for the tunnel exit)
Something would move in the shadows .....moving over the wreckage ....as the pokemon would literally tear into one of the seats with his teeth. His eyes were on the object in front of him, until the dull and slow speech of his partner would pull him over ....as the pokemon moves out from underneath one of the seat cushions ....as a bit of flames escape his mouth.
(There seems to have been stragglers .....)
The Numel would speak the words with a glint to his eyes ....that for a moment made that dull and pathetic looking face go away as it become steel for a moment before it turned back to it's originally dull look.
(Oh, let's go have fun)
The Sandile would snap his jaws in in-anticipation as they would both go after him ...one moving with the speed of a croc, while the other ....well ......he move with the speed of a camel. Neither was fast, but fast enough to make their intent clear.

"Hardly" Raven started rather dryly, responding to their remark about being a strangler even if there wasn't need. He had little doubt that the Pokemon wouldn't have gotten so far had they not been called away to perform other duties.
"Genn! Diabound! Show them the error in their judgement!" Raven cried loudly, snatching the second and third Pokeballs from his belt and tossing then forward with all his might.
The ground would shake, a mighty roar filling the air as the massive form of a Steelix would appear, his form nearly dwarfing that of the train. Beady red eyes would lock on their two opponents, a rumbling chuckle filling Genn's chest. A battle against the odds, now this was certain to be quite interesting!
Contrasting quite heavily would be the lacklustre appearance of Diabound. Not even bothering to fully form the Yamask would appear only as a golden mask, striking the ground and sticking partially out of it like an old coin.
Pokemon: Steelix [M] Name & Level: Genn, Lv 8 [Temperament] Hasty Bio: Raven met with this Onix while making his way through Clockwork Cavern. An Area Guardian, his charge was evidently a Magnemite the boy had recently passed. Believing Raven a threat, the Onix attacked immediately. Raven seeing qualities he liked in the Pokemon, and after suffering some minor damage while battling against Fable, the Onix was quickly captured. An act he made no move to fight against. Quick to make his decisions, Genn rarely listens to Raven in battle, having chosen his next action before the child even has a moment to speak. Stats: HP: 32/32, PP: 24, ATK: 21, DEF: 35, SPD: 13, SP-ATK: 16, SP-DEF: 17 MOVES: - Rock Throw - Mud Sport - Ice Fang - Screech Held Item: Canary Feather EXP: 407/700
Pokemon: Yamask [M] Name & Level: Diabound , Lv 5 [Temperament] Lax Bio: Born in an era long forgotten, to a culture left in ruin, Diabound isn't particularly forthcoming about his human past, nor his original name. Only one factor is truly clear about his former life, the fact he was a Thief. Even now after untold centuries that fact remains true. Though outwardly a lazy stooge seemingly incapable of such deeds. Diabound is constantly on the lookout for anything deemed valuable...or potentially so. When he finds such a thing the Yamask will lazily proceed towards the target, using a mask of lacklustre or even moronic behaviour to swipe the item on the sly. More often then not by the time one notices the object is missing it is too late, and they will doubtless never see it again! Stats: HP: 20/20, PP: 22, ATK: 9, DEF: 16, SPD: 9, SP-ATK: 12, SP-DEF: 11 MOVES: - Energy Ball - Disable - Dark Pulse - Psychic Held Item: Amulet Coin EXP: 0/400

roll#2 Numel (m) lvl: 6/Naughty Hp: 25 Pp: 24 Att: 15 Def: 11 Spd: 11 Sp Att: 14 Sp Def: 10 Moves: Growl, Tackle, Heat Wave
In a battle of speed, this wasn't even a competition as the two would look between each other for a moment ...and the Sandile would give a toothy grin.
(Error in our judgement.....are you sure you aren't the one in the wrong here, mate?)
The pokemon would chuckle lightly as his partner gave a look that should have made Raven hit the floor in fear as that ditzy look cross his muzzle and he would direct it first at Raven and then at his target as he would allow the heat to rise form his back. Then holding his breathing he would send it exploding out from there in a wave, while the Sandile would go straight for the mask with his maw wide open.
He was going to show him the strength of his bite.

Arms going straight, fingers curling before going ridged, the boy would close his eyes in an attempt to avert his gaze from the Numel. Through clenched teeth he would barely manage to speak "Underestimating us is a mistake."
"Genn cover Diabound!" Raven barked, looking up at his Steelix rather then down at the Numel as he shouted this command.
Rumbling slightly the Steelix would nod, swinging his tail into the path of both the Numel and Sandile, proceeding to coil his thick body around the comparatively tiny mask.
The Yamask on the other hand didn't move an inch, going so far as to exude the faint sound of snoring. [Roll#1: Genn/Roll#2: Diabound]

(18 - 8 + 17 - 35 = -8 + flinch)
(13 - 8 + 14 - 17 = 2 x 2 = 4dmg to Genn)
(13 - 8 + 14 - 17 = 2x2 = 4mg to Genn (not sure if this is possible, but, if Genn manages to block both attacks .....then he should take double dmg from the heatwave, since, his roll failed twice, right? Or, should the dmg simply go to Diabound. Sorry, trying something new, and asking question second, so I am waiting for your answer.)
The two attacks would collide against him ....Genn's move would save the Yamask from instant defeat ....as he curls around him ...taking his hits for him. IF it wasn't for such a long body that would be impossible Though, that move would leave him open to the twin attacks ....as one would make sure that he wouldn't be attacking against this round, while the other would melt only a small section of his hide.
It was only the differences in their level that saved them ....as the Numel would look and his eyes would narrow ...taking away for a moment that ridiculous looking face.
(That Steelix is tough ...a shield to make all shields. Though, if that Yamask is to attack he must come out, and if he do .....that Steelix is flinched and won't be able to help this time.)
This wasn't the time to give them to rest .....as the Numel would once more do heatwave, and a sinister smile would come to the face of the Sandile as he comes to his partner side and wait. His Counter-attack obvious, if that pokemon made one move beyond the body of the Steelix to attack ....he was going to tear him apart .....with his fangs ready, he stood in defense of his partner with bite.

((That's a very good question. It's something which relies much more heavily on the physics of the situation as well as our own judgement. Since he's blocking an attack meant to hit two Pokemon, but also given he has a body size adequate to accomplish that task, I'd say yes. ))
((Alternatively, should the Sandile's roll count for much here? It's labelled as a potential counter-attack entirely dependant on whether or not Diabound comes out from behind Genn. The thing is, Diabound has 2 moves that don't require him to move from behind his shield! ))
Genn HP: 24 "Poor Judgement" Raven would state again, able to hear the words of the pair quite clearly. Not all attacks were physical, not all attacks required actual sight, only a target. "Diabound....DISABLE THAT HEATWAVE!"
Still perched snug behind Genn's massive body the small golden mask of Diabound would begin to glow a bright sky blue, even the eyes of the mask taking upon them a certain sheen. On the other side of the Steelix that same glow would appear around the Heatwave, spreading further then even that moments later as it sought out the body of the Numel. This was an attack which didn't strike the body, which didn't require an open path to be performed, and if it was succeeded the pair before them were in for a world of hurt!
Genn on the other hand would merely sit there. Flinching slightly as his metallic hide cooled, he couldn't exactly move for the moment. [Roll#1: Genn/Roll#2: Diabound]

(Actual I covered that, by making him stand defensively in front of the Numel. Though, if what I wrote below doesn't work, then it's simply a +1 to his defensive turn since he was unable to actually use his counter-attack. )
When the pokemon showed no signs of coming out ....the Sandile didn't back down ...he gnashed his teeth together as he let the energy of his own attack radiate. A dark move like bite didn't have the range of something like Psychic or disable, but standing in front of his partner ...the same power that had to connect with the Numel behind him ...would have to deal with the disruption energy of the pokemon's dark move.
That close .....the move would be effective in defense of his partner, since the pokemon hadn't dared to peek it's way over the Steelix's body barrier.[
Though the Numel wouldn't make a move otherwise at that moment ....he just simply held his ground ....as he would give out a low growl across the field. The Sandile would drop his attack at that moment as he made a secondary decision of his own ......as he would wander towards the Steelix to strike the ground in front of his nose.
Both were attacking defensively at that moment. Roll#1 - Sandile Roll# 2 Numel
(6 - 1 + 14 - 17 = 2 x2 = 4dmg to Genn)

Ada would reappear standing where she had been before, though notable a lot cleaner. Just up and leaving did wonders for ones appearance, and she'd look down at her newly acquired egg for just a moment before looking at her surroundings. The Abra was long gone right now so she wouldn't be able to properly thank him, though that was the least of concerns right now considering the fact that a train was just casually lying derailed on it's side. The magician would chose not to worry about it and instead read the little note on it, sighing when she was done.
Geez, that was pretty vague! Oh well, nothing she had on her mind that she couldn't ask him when they met up. The order was clear - go on, it was that simple. But, well...it wasn't every day you saw such a wonderfully destroyed train. Her curiosity was getting the best of her, as always, and so many questions were raised. Had everyone made it out safely? Did they leave anything behind? She was sure her partners would not mind if she poked around a bit here, as long as she didn't linger too long...
Ada would start walking around the train with hushed footsteps, trying to find some sort of opening - a broken window, a door, anything - to the inside so she could get a closer look.

The gapping hold in the side of the train would show her the way in. It had cracked in two ...when it fell, and such, the opening was there and ready for her to climb into to search for whatever she wished to find within.

Well, it was like an invitation now, wasn't it! Ada would help herself to this neat find, running her hand over the edges of the unnatural opening as she'd inspect it as thoroughly as she could. she'd come to the conclusion that it was stable enough for her not to die in, and the Magician would press her egg against her as she'd step in, crouching down slightly so as to fit with hat and all. She'd at least be able to enter, and she'd look at the inky darkness ahead, only the slightest of light seeping in through the cracks, dimmer than dim as it's only source was the flickering bulbs above.
So now what?
She'd stick her arms out first, feeling to see if there was anything in her way first. And if there was, she'd feel it to see if it was of use to her. But she'd stop eventually, the thought still lingering in the back of her head, and she just wouldn't be content until she knew for sure...
"Hello? Anyone down here?"
God forbid there was a person or pokemon stuck here and she didn't try to help out!

A shuffle of movement would have a hissing Meowth in front of her ...in fact, it would be the same one she had meet earlier, and behind her cringe in the shadows was the Chimchar that had helped her before, It would seem that both pokemon had returned to the scene of the crime so to speak after everyone was gone, but things didn't look as well as before ....as stray ray of light would show the bruises that stuck out even on the white fur of the Meowth, and in the darkness one had to wonder how much worst was the chimchar.
They had not gotten a good reception for their kindness, or at least for the chimchar's.

"Oh dear..." Ada would look at the pair with worried eyes. Well now, she had to do something about it! The magician would take her hat off, reaching inside of it and rummaging around until she pulled out a ripe, round, bright blue berry. No doubt the pokemon would recognize it by scent as an Oran Berry, and she'd put her hat back on, holding the berry in the palm of her hand.
"I...I'm still very grateful, and I don't want to just leave you like this..." she'd hold out the berry to them. "please take this, it'll help you feel better! And, if you want, I can take you to a center, where they can patch you up! Anything I can do, I'll do it, I don't mind..." the chimchar had saved her partner from death, afterall, and even though the meowth was the one who took it in the first place, it was a friend of the fire types and suffering just as well. She was willing to let bygones be bygones if it meant safety for the two.

(GO away!)
The meowth would hiss as she reached down to put the berry where they could get it. Her back was arched and her fur and claws stood out as her yellow eyes gleam evilly. She would flick her tail from side to side, and stand as defensively of her partner as she had before ....her tail that should have been frizzled lay flat on the ground ....as she drew her claws through the floor of the car.
(You have done enough ...leave us alone)
She spat out the words ...as she would turn her back on the girl. Seeing that it was her, and no real danger she would wrap her body around the trembling mass in the back.
Ada's kindness was being rejected by the cat ....as she lay around her partner ...and rubbed up against her. Hoping to get her to uncurl sometime soon, this place was no safer than the others.

Raven gritted his teeth slightly as he watched the battle, mind racing. Something was wrong here, something which seemed to rile him up without clear reason to it. At the back of his mind an unknown factor continued to bark at him, telling him this was the fault of neither side...but both. For once in his life Raven could think of only one thing to actually do in this scenario, and it was something he would look back upon with disgust.
With a flourish of his hand Raven would raise two PokeBalls from his belt, returning both Diabound and Genn to the contrastingly tiny spheres. What he was doing was dangerous, opening himself up to danger...but it had to be done. Flicking his wrist Raven would return to the two balls to his belt, swiping the last one which remainder there in a single motion. Rather then release the beast contained within however, the child would click it into the pommel of his sword, drawing it with a swift sweep of the blade. Flames dances along the weapon, running up the hilt and spreading across Raven's body to consume him in their heat. Clothes burned away only to be replaced by new ones made of living flame.
Once the change was complete the boy would do something almost entirely against his nature. Pivoting upon his heel the child would dash down the tunnel, running from his foes, using the speed obtained via his Pokemon to aid in his escape. Hopefully the dramatic transformation would prove distracting enough to keep his opponents from pursuing him...

The cat had overlooked the fact that Ada was stubborn, and the magician would stand her ground, taking on a more authoritative, though not dangerous or threatening, tone.
"I won't have done much of anything if I just leave you two out here alone! I don't have a good idea what shape your friend is but by the looks of you it can't be good."
"I urge you to think about it again. If not for your health then for your friends. I'm sure that the pokemon center here will help heal you, and if not then I'll take matters in to my own hands - point being, I'll find a way. I have no intent on capturing either of you, and if I have to walk all the way back to this cave to make sure you two are let out freely then so be it. I have no qualms with carrying you to the center and I have no qualms with carrying you back." She had an almost full roster of considerably strong pokemon, so they wouldn't have to worry much about any potential fights. In fact, she'd fight a pokemon off herself before she'd let them be exposed to any danger, big or small.
She only hoped that the meowth would change her mind about the offer, as all the magician wanted was the best for them.
