Gabe was already tucking himself into his sleeping bag when she came back in, glad he had packed very warm, fuzzy pajamas. "You okay?" He asked worriedly. "You sound really cold."

"Yea, I'll warm up soon enough I'm sure." She wiggled her sleeping bag wrapped body closer to his. Curling up against him, she could feel the heat of his body just faintly. Kind of wishing she was in his sleeping bag right now. It would be super warm.
Vyth moved to kiss him on the cheek lightly. "Good night, Gabe. Sleep tight. Don't let the bed bugs bite."

Gabe moved to snuggle up close to her. Clearly this was the best plan to keep them both warm! "I hope so, I don't want you to be cold all night." He said.
"Night, Vyth, and same to you," he said, giving her a smile and a kiss on the cheek as he snuggled into his sleeping bag.

She smiled happily, leaning her head to bury it beneath his chin as she slowly began to drift off to slumber land.
-The next morning-
Vyth quietly snoozed away as the sun began to peek over the horizon. Filling the darkened world with a soft light. Not ready to get up yet, she buried her head into her sleeping bag to ward off any unwanted light that might threaten to draw her out.

Unfortunately for Vyth, Gabe was something of an early riser. The sun streaming into the tent made him slowly stir awake, shifting into a sitting position in his sleeping bag. "Vyth, you awake?" He asked, quiet so as not to disturb her too much more.

Ugh, why early riser why? Could she not have a few more minutes....hours to stay snuggled up against him?
"Someone better be dead or the house is on fire...." She mumbled through her sleeping back in response to his question. Half awake now. Vyth rolled over onto her side with a yawn, curled up into a little ball before stretching out to full length. It made her look like a caterpillar curling up and straightening itself out.
So warm in there.
Finally she sat up, her sleeping back still zipped up most of the way so only her head was peeking out. Her hair sticking this way and that as she yawned. Hard ground was hard and her back was killing her.
Shoulda brought air mattresses.

Gabe was, unfortunately for Vyth, not quite familiar with the concept of sleeping in. So he was happily wiggling his way out by the time she answered him.
"Umm, no, none of the above, sorry," he said, carefully walking around her to get his clothes together.
He couldn't help but find her slow wakeup ritual rather adorable. "Morning," he said, perhaps a pinch too cheerfully.

She rubbed her eyes with another small yawn. Blinking away the sleepies. "Morning." A smile came to her lips as she watched him shuffle about the tent. The sun wasn't fully up yet, so it wasn't too bright. But she could still make him out as he moved about.
Of course, the second she began to unzip her sleeping bag she wanted to zip it right back up. There was still a chill to the air and cold was not one of her favorite things to be.
Eyes squinted mischievously as she reached up to grab him by the wrist. Dragging him to the ground once more a top her sleeping bag and curling up against him. An arm wrapped around his chest as she buried her nose beneath his chin. "So eager to get going?"

Gabe was grinning down at her, thoroughly amused by her slow, steady movement towards getting up. It was really too bad for her that he was generally so bouncy at ridiculous hours of the morning.
Of course, going places seemed a lot less like a priority when it was apparent she'd rather cuddle, and he slid an arm around her and laughed. "Not so much anymore." He acknowledged. "Outdoors will still be there later."

Vyth was never one to really get out of bed quickly. Unless she her alarm magically hadn't gone off and she woke up late for class. Then that was a different story. But really, she had no reason to pop up out of the sleeping bag and toss her clothes on.
Letting out a small sigh, she closed her eyes when he wrapped his arm around her. Yes, cuddling. Cuddling made the world all the better. She grasped at the sleeve of his pajamas, nuzzling her nose against his throat as she smiled. "Did you sleep well?"

Gabe lightly smoothed her mussed hair, happy to settle down at least for a little while. "Pretty well, yeah." He replied. "Wasn't, you know, totally comfortable, but I wasn't expecting it to be like sleeping in a hotel or at home." He laughed quietly.

"Mmmm, yea. I think I had a few unfriendly rocks beneath my sleeping bag. Next time I'll pick up some air mattresses so it isn't so pokey." Vyth smiled contently as he pet her hair. She didn't want to get up but eventually knew that they would.
Pushing herself up with both arms, she hovered over him for a few seconds before giving him a soft kiss on the lips. Lingering there for a moment before pulling back and moving into a sitting position. "Should I close my eyes so you can get dressed?"

"Ohh, air mattresses. Wish I'd thought of that." Gabe sighed. Oh well, past was past and they'd made it through the night, right?
He blinked up at her for a minute, and then happily leaned in when she kissed him, a dorky grin on his face when they broke apart. "Oh, yeah, that would, uh, be good."

"Yea me too." She laughed.
Her hands covered her eyes quickly. "Ok, but I can't promise I won't peek. So you better be quick before I get bored." A wide, toothy grin spread across her lips as she separated the fingers of her right hand to look at him from between her fingers. Quickly closing her fingers once more. Just to prove a point.

Gabe stood up, flushing bright red. "I, uh, I'll change really quick," he stammered, not sure exactly how he felt about the idea of his girlfriend peeking on him.
Weren't they a little early in the relationship? (Did the normal process of a relationship even apply anymore after their first date?)
He made quick work of changing into a very dorky hiking outfit. "Uhhh, I'm done," he said.
