Lizzy spent some time deliberating where to put Shun, and then spent the rest of the day doing weight lifting exercises moving Shun to somewhere where he wouldn't accidentally be stepped on - Jericho's room. The answer to the earlier question about whether she could pick the door? The answer is yes, with some difficulty and a lot of luck.
She then laid him under a pile of treasure for safekeeping, tucking the Jericho plushie under his head to be used as a pillow before doing some DIY first aid, pushing his awkward-looking arm back into its socket.
At least. She hoped that was his arm socket and not something else.

When his arm was popped back into its socket, Shun's eye snapped open as he let out a cry of pain from the sudden jolt. Arching his back for the moment, he grimaced as he felt something poking into his back. It was also really warm in here and he was laying on something really hard.
With a groan, he flopped back down, feeling a little confused as to where he was exactly. He also looked a little out of it.
"Nng..."

"There, there," Lizzy patted the boil on his head, looking rather sheepish; she didn't know that doing that was going to hurt as much as it did, but hopefully she did it right, "It's alright. We're in a... Friend's room. Sadly, he never saw the merits of getting a nice, soft, comfortable bed."

His right arm ached quite a bit. Well. Shun felt pretty sore all over right about now really. He wasn't even quite sure what had happened there.
"..Did I fall..?" he murmured while trying to look around. This room was big. There was lava towards the back, and well.. he could see he was laying on treasure right now. It was like some place that could belong to a drag--
"...Jericho?"
All the other dragons he really knew were undead and definitely would not have a flaming room. Wincing, he slowly pushed himself back up into a sitting position, nursing his right shoulder.

"You did. Your ninja reflexes failed you because you needed more sleep... Is your shoulder alright?" Lizzy asked, flopping down beside him, hugging her knees to her chest; Jericho's room was always warm, so it was comfortable for her. At the mention of the dragon's name, she nodded, looking down at her shoes to avert his gaze, "Yeah... Better don't disturb anything though. He doesn't like it when people touch his things, especially without permission."

"It'll be fine," Shun said tersely as he nursed his shoulder some more. It felt pretty stiff. Most likely he wouldn't be able to lift much with that arm for a little bit.. which annoyed him some.
".... And so. You set me on top of his treasure."
He stared hard at Lizzy at this. Letting out a sigh, he rolled off the pile gingerly before getting up to his feet. His movements were stiff and pained. Aside from the shoulder, he no doubt received a number of bruises from that tumble.

"He won't be home a while. Let's keep this a secret from him," Lizzy forced a chuckle, offering the reaper a smile that did not reach her eyes. When he got up, she stood up after him, inhaling deeply to get rid of that weight on her chest before tilting her head, "Going over to Mitsu's now?"

The Reaper raised an eyebrow at that. He had missed the fact that Jericho had gone big bad at the island. But, he didn't question it. The dragon could be away for any number of reasons.
"..That's the plan," he said quietly to the spider demon with a touch of sadness in his tone. Shun's hand didn't leave his shoulder just yet, but he turned to look towards her for a moment or so.
"I always have this hope... that every time I walk in, she'll be better. Or every time she wakes up.." he whispered before walking towards the door.
"It's never the case.."

"... I'm sorry Shun," She wasn't sure what else to say; she doesn't like giving up on hope, because at this point... That's all they have left. Hope. It's not easy though... To hold onto something you cannot feel, "You're not in this alone though. Please don't think that you're alone, and please don't make it so that you're alone..."

Shun paused before stepping out, casting his gaze to the ground.
"It feels like I am though. You may not think so but I have to wonder how many others share Mot's views," he said quietly. Again. Maybe it was for the better that way. He was accustomed to being on his own, fending for himself, after all.

"Well, just so you know, I'm not one of them," Lizzy replied, staring after him, "Anytime you feel the pain, hey Shun, refrain. Don't carry the world upon your shoulders. For well you know that it's a fool who plays it cool by making his world a little colder."

Standing there quietly for a few moments, Shun took this in. It was hard to say what was going through his mind exactly, especially since he had his back to the demon.
"Friendship... is strange," he whispered.

"Most positive bonds between people are. They can't be explained, after all... It's easier to hate a person, and list down why you hate a person, than to say why you're friends with someone."

"Why are you friends with me?" he asked. It was a sincere question. She said it was difficult to list it out, but Shun was wanting to know anyway.

"Didn't I say that it's a tough question to answer?" Lizzy pouted, although it soon faded into a thoughtful look, "Well... I guess... People like Mot... They tend to sugarcoat things for me, while people like Mac would pat me on the head and say 'I'll tell you when you're older'-" She tried to imitate the way Mac would say it, "-even though we're the same age. However, you are honest; you don't sugarcoat, and you don't try to laugh things off. If I asked you a question that is considered awkward by most, you will still answer it."
She paused, going silent for a moment, "But I guess it all boils down to the fact that I like you? I wouldn't be friends with someone I do not like...?"
