As she stepped into the kitchen, from her back yard, she looked around wondering where Elli had run off too. She was the one that had invited Darius to stay with them and now she was gone. She rolled her eyes at her sister.

But I think I'll hit the hay its been a busy day full of danger.” He said with a bit of playful smile, a smile that is rarely seen on the youth.

She led the way upstairs, showing Darius his rooms first. "Good night Darius." She whispered quietly, looking up at him with grey eyes and a soft smile.

ᗡɐɹıns Sılʌǝɹ❖Second Year❖Slytherin❖Beater❖Half-Blood❖₯arius smiled to her once she led him to his room the house elf already brought his beg. He turned to Verily. “You two good night.” He said as he closed the door and took off the ragged shirt he had in the Ross house. His body changed since last summer underfed and skinny He was forming muscles from his work as a beater and was filling out more. He tossed the shirt by his beg he wondered how much longer it would last him. He was most likely cut off from his family's wealth, not that he ever got to share it that much. Maybe he'd try to get a summer job to pay for his books or what he'll need. he decided to worry about that later for now he needed sleep. He laid on the bed and forgot about the rutty one in the attic of his home. Maybe this is what Jaz and Virgil feel every night as they fall to sleep how funny a small thing like blood could change so much. With a last yawn Darius pulled the blankets over him and fell asleep.

Everybody's looking for something VERILY DAWN MCHALEN |||Ravenclaw Beater|||Pureblood|||Second Year||| Ver walked to her room and collapsed onto her bed in exhaustion. She almost fell asleep right then and there but rolled to her feet to change into her PJ's before falling back on to her bed. Today had been a lot of fun even with the near death by falling experience. She was glad Darius had been there to catch her, and he had done it so heroically too. He mangled his arm even more just to save her. A soft smile graced her lips as she fell into a deep sleep.
The next morning, Ver got up early for no reason at all. She just woke up and couldn't fall back asleep. She quickly got dressed, and went down stairs, entering the living room with the fire place. She lit a fire in it and sat on the couch watching it happily. She was in quite a good mood for no apparent reason.

She answered him. "....Did you sleep well?" She asked. She mentally smacked herself after she had asked. It was a ridiculous question. After all the hard work they had put into yesterday, any one would sleep well, and she didn't doubt that the beds at her house were ten times better than anything he had back at the Ross'. She gave him an awkward half smile and patted the space next to her on the couch.

I don't have money for school supplies and I don't think Shaw will let me dip into the family vault.” He said his clearly a bit worried about not having everything he needed for Hogwarts.

No matter what her father's view point on blood status was, he had a high value on good manors and being a good host. "My father, nor my aunt and uncle, would ever ask or want you to work. We're only twelve Darius, and we've got enough money to pay for a million of you, let alone some supplies for school." She said quietly, looking up at him as she finished her sentence and hoping he understood what she meant.

"Really, all you can do is live life up a little, let us spoil you, get some better clothes on you and some more meat on your body and.... do everything I ask you too." She smirked at him, giggling wildly.

She said as she stood up. "Come on, I'm sure Dolly can whip us up some breakfast and then I'm taking you shopping. We can get our supplies for school next year while we're at it." She led the way towards the kitchen, a bounce in her step. She loved shopping and she loved Diagon Alley.

Everybody's looking for something VERILY DAWN MCHALEN |||Ravenclaw Beater|||Pureblood|||Second Year||| Ver smiled at the house elves who were already quite awake and busy cooking eggs, bacon, pancakes, and potatoes for breakfast. "It looks delicious Dolly." She said to the female house elf who was doing most of the cooking, while Jupiter between the kitchen and the dining room setting another spot for Darius.
"I'm sorry Miss Verily, and you too kind sir. I didn't here him get up and had only set a spot for you." Ver shrugged and followed Jupiter into the dining room as he carried a plate, cup, knife spoon, and fork on his head. He placed them on the table next to the dishes already set for her.
"It's fine Jupiter." She said, patting his head, since she would have to bend down to reach his shoulder. "He's quiet." She smiled kindly and took a seat.
