Aerith
Attacking Ateth
2d4+1 = 6
Accuracy - 6-6 = miss

Aerith hissed at the larger silver as he came forward, scuttling backwards as he struck and flaring wings in defiant mockery when he missed - sure there was little chance that ti was going to beat him, even on the ground where his large and clumsy body played in the white's favor.
The arrival of Adamanth drew Aerith's attention. 'Adamanth!' Aerith cried out to the larger but younger male, voice grateful and pain filled 'Be careful, he is a vicious brute'
When Mercy cried out, begging that the white retreat, Aerith keened in despair 'I will not, can not, go with you. We fight here together' the white told it's rider - even as it knew that it would not end well. The white was to tired to fly in retreat now even if it had wanted to obey.

Mercy
Defending against S'orl
def - 1d4+1 = 5
HP - 10/25
With Aerith's determination to stay and with her dragons bravery bolstering her even in the face of her pain Mercy found the will to do something herself and when S'orl kicked at her again the white rider managed to roll away, receiving only a small graze as she did so and regain her feet.
'Even if you beat me..you won't win this in the long run' She told the silver rider as she circled him 'They turned on us..how long do you think it will be before they turn on the riders who sided with them? They don't want dragons..they're just using you'

Opth: Attacking Kloth
Opth screeched, hoping to draw the brown's attention off of Acriculeth. He was too far injured and she was still whole! ~ I'm Your target now brown!~ She boldy declared, feinting with her claws as she closed in on him.

Calanoth: Attacking Firith
Her momentary lack of attention was enough to help him dodge her claws once again. He charged forward chest and claws thrust out to hopefully slam her into the ground. She was too small and quick for him to successfully control the fight unless he could knock her down.

Z'fer: Attacking Ralla
Her kick caught him on his injured calf, startling a hiss of pain from the Wingleader as his knee buckled. He caught himself before he fell and in a rage he threw himself at Ralla, his body language echoing that of his dragon's.

Ateth (Ground), Attacking Aerith
As focused on Aerith as he was, Ateth took no notice of Adamanth until the younger silver bespoke him, and that was too late to avoid his teeth. He swung his head around snarled. Mind your own business, little hatchling!
Unwilling to allow himself to be dissuaded, he attacked the white again. He would deal with the weyrling later.

Firith (Ground); Defending Against Calanoth
Firith tried to get out of the way of the bronze's charge, but although she was quick, she was not quite quick enough. While she avoided the full force of the hit and managed to keep her feet, it was still painful.

Firith was fading, and Ralla could feel it. Their will was there, as strong as ever, but physically, the fights were taking a toll on them that couldn't be denied. But they would sure as shells try to defy it! Knocked to the ground by the bronzerider's charge, the girl kicked up at him.

Ishsk (Ground); Arriving and Attacking Mazamath

(created characters, not for consideration)
Watching from a distance, it would have been difficult to tell that the factions behind this war were back on one side by a majority of dragonriders, and the other by a majority of wherhandlers. And so far, Ishnal had been enjoying watching this fight from a distance; there was something incredibly satisfying about watching the dragons and their riders try to tear each other apart. Sadly, however, she could only watch for so long before stepping in. While she didn't like any dragons or their riders on sheer principle, the Revolution really did need the dragon allies it had. Dragons were larger and more powerful than whers, and could and had inflicted serious casualties upon them already.
As much as she disliked the idea of helping any dragon, their allies' strength seemed to be wavering. They needed to win this fight, and if that meant helping a few dragons, then it was a necessary evil. As they left their vantage point, Ishnal instructed her wher to attack one of the weaker-looking resistance fighters. Just because they had to help didn't mean she was going to throw her beloved partner at an opponent he had no chance against.
Bellowing, the brown charged into the fray to try and sink his teeth into dragonhide...and missed.

Ishnal (Ground), Attacking Z'fer
The heavyset woman grimaced as her overnethusiastic wher missed his big blue target. Clearly, she couldn't leave all of this to Ishsk. If only! She was going to have to get her own hands dirty, and probably earn a few bruises for herself in the process. Fanatastic. Determined but still very unhappy with all of this, Ishnal looked over the options and singled out an enemy rider. The one fighting that scrawny little girl would do nicely.
Mouth set in a grim line, she ran in (albeit not particularly swiftly) swinging.

Calanoth: Attacking Firith
Could he not even knock down a little green weyrling?! What a lame excuse for a bronze he was. Largest sharding dragon in the weyr (short of Feynath) and he was getting beat by the smallest of greens. He should be embarrassed. Amid his indulgence of self-loathing he swung at her again, he couldn't let her win! That was worse than losing to a wher!

Z'fer: Defending against Ishnal
Z'fer never could seem to avoid those feet. He doubled over in pain as her foot connected. The stars swimming in his eyes blinded him to the approach of the large handler. Her swing caught him on the head, knocking him sideways to the ground. He rolled with his fall, coming up on his knees but still in pain. "Shards woman! Who the shells are you?!"

While she would never admit, that charge had been a very close thing. She needed to finish this fight - to finish Calanoth - as soon as possible, before he could bring her down. Avoiding his latest strike, she snapped at his foreleg.
