The old woman smiled. She wasn't looking for a superman, she just wanted someone who could fill in when she needed to take a break with her husband. "Every good.You'll of course be working the night shift. Do you have any questions or comments before I make my choice?" She asked the vampire. She was going to give her a fair chance to give the woman more reasons to hire her. She would be fair in giving everyone a chance.

"Other than that, I can't think of much else that you would be interested in knowing, ma'am." ™

The old woman smiled at the girl. There was a warm in her that told her that Lux would be the one that she wanted to hire for the night shift. "You seemed to have your heart set on working on a hotel. That says something that you understand the value of a good and hardworker. It's not an easy job, but I think that you are the perfect person to hire." She told the woman with pride.

» Lux stood and took the womans hand in hers, kissing the top of it, then looks up "Thank you so much, ma'am, you won't regret this!" She then turns her attention to the gentleman and bows. "It has been a pleasure to meet you sir", she says in a slightly flirty voice. "Well, it has been a pleasure to meet you both, really." She then smiles and turns to leave. "Wait, is there anything else that I should know before I go?" ™

the old woman smiled wrinkles and all. "Just remember that if anyone his having trouble sleeping then to tell my husband and me. We'll give them some sleeping sand. Also please don't be afraid to ask for some time off. We only need a little help at night and if you need to take a night off then that is fine." She answere the vampire girl.

The old woman could tell the other was excited about the new job and that made the woman feel proud that she had made the right choice for a worker. "You can start tomorrow night if you like." She answered the girl. ((Sorry for the wait. I moved and my computer didn't want to connect to the internet.))

Lux walks into the inn and looks around. She had forgotten to ask where she needed to go to sign into work after arriving but she decided to see if maybe the old lady was around. She knew that the lady wouldn't mind letting her know where to go. "Hello?", she said aloud. Still nothing. She looked around a bit more and walked to the desk. "Hello! Is anyone here?" she said a little louder.

(( eek now I feel bad. Please forgive me for forgetting this. whee )) The old woman peeked her head out of a room and noticed it was her worker. She pulled it back in. "Give me a second dear." She told the woman. She was right in the middle of preparing a room. Once the woman was at a point where she could stop she came out with a smile. "What do need?" She asked in her sweet old lady voice.

The old woman smiled. "Don't worry. We're all late for our first day on the job. Sometimes the whole first week. As for checking in you just need to tell me you're here." The woman answered the girl. The woman was sweet and old it was a miracle she was still able to move. "Now that you're here I need to tell you that my grandson will becoming today since it's his day off. He's a bit of a dramatic child, but please keep an eye on him."

[Zane Ashton Rivers] Zane wandered through town, trying not to bump into anyone and keeping his head down. There were some shady folk in the town, sure, but he hadn't noticed anyone dead. He shivered as someone with a very powerful light walked past, but didn't notice him. The ghost didn't bother going after the stranger; they probably had somewhere important to go. He felt his way along a wall, not knowing what the building was. It felt sturdy, safe, and very old. He tilted his head. The walls were too thick for him to tell if anyone was inside. "Hmmm." He extended his senses a little further, trying to detect any signs of life. Nothing. Zane felt his way over to a bench nearby and sat down. He felt in his pocket for his old flute, and produced the instrument with a flourish. He started to play quietly, then with growing strength as he decided no one was around to hear.

 Ashley stepped out of the inn that the family owned. Auntie and Uncle always the young adult work a couple of hours to make some extra money. Though it was minimum wage between the inn and the other job the dreameater got by. Ashley turned to notice a man on the bench outside of the hotel. pale hands brushed the new pink kimono into place. The new piece was made by the younger sister that Ashley loved so much. "May I help you?" Ashley said gaining voice to say something.

[Zane Ashton Rivers] Zane would have jumped out of his skin, if he had one. He hadn't even noticed the presence that came out of the building. He lowered the flute, still keeping his head down. "Ah, no, sorry, uh..." The ghost coughed awkwardly. "Sorry." He didn't know why he was apologizing, but he felt like he'd intruded somehow. He reached toward the female voice with his mind, sensing the light her presence gave off. The light was a soft cream color with a very faint pinkish tint toward the center. It didn't flicker like a candle or keep glowing like a firefly. Instead, it was pulsing between faint and bright, like a heart. Zane stood and stuffed his hands in his pockets. "Am I disturbing you? Should I leave?"

Ashley stepped closer. The Boku didn't mean to upset him. "No not at all. I'm sorry if I upset you. There is nothing wrong with you being here. I was just making sure you didn't need the services of the hotel." The diva answered bowing to show that there was sorry in act. He probably couldn't see Ashley, but if the Japanese mother she was raised by had seen Ashley not doing the proper respects then there would be a lecture about being a proper Japanese person.
