Exploring the Passageway - SUCCESS
Dead end... nothing but a dead end? But there were other students here, and Moira beamed and waved at them as joyfully as if she'd met them in a normal hallway, rather than in this vaguely damp corridor. "We made it here! ... Where is here?" she asked the dead end in general, turning about a bit before settling herself against one wall with every sign of enjoyment. "It smells... like the sea... did you hear that? I heard it."

Oh... what was this? A trail of coppery ichor and a mysterious key. What reason did Amityville have to keep a secret passageway anyway? An irking sense of curiosity led It on as It diverted from the group and hit... a wall. This one lacked any mysterious tainted keys, so It turned around and continued.

Akithor walked on... what he came to this time was another turn... and then another. Left right, right left; the boil had a temptation to position his hands in front of him like he could control the angles of the passage if he could just press the buttons.

Following the twisted halls within the secret passage, Yari first had to find a glowing student to continue. A ghost would do, Jack knew they weren't good for much else. It began to walk behind a small group.

He was considering this new fork in his path. "Went left last time, let's try right." No sooner after he made his move did the wall blocking him appear.

Stay in the Library-
Why had he come here, again? Why wasn't he going back to his dorm and taking a long hot soak and polishing his horn (and he knows what you're thinking and yes, you can think of it that way if you want and if you want to come by later, he'll show you his horn, baby-)
Ahem.
In any case, Faysal was not in the least interested in hanging out in some cruddy old library or in entering some gross hidden passage... but he was even less interested in another detention. Detention was the best way to jack up his appearance for days.
Grumbling loudly at the unfairness of it all, Faysal plunged into the only real hiding space available. His life.

Jack be damned, did this passage never end? With a heavy sigh, Yari turned a corner and met another wall. The group It had been following turned, causing a bit of an awkward pause perhaps because It had not been invited... or chatting.. or anything. A haughty huff and they all continued on.

It seemed that this passage may have only dead ends. Certainly Its sense of direction wasn't failing THIS horribly...

Ugh, it was dark in here, and while his night vision was okay, there was just nothing in here. If it hadn't been for the threat of detention, the shadhavar would have been gone... but it didn't feel like he had a choice.
If he messed up his mane, there was going to be hell to pay. Hell with horns. Yes.

Finally the passage seemed to widen, or at least stretch further into the distance. Yari continued on, even as his group split into two. Apparently the winged monster had fire powers, go figure.

Faysal met the dead end with his face, stumbling back and quickly patting at his lovely nose to make sure no permanent harm had been done. Ugh! Okay, from now on he was walking with his hands out in front of him. His horn-tipped fingers were much more durable than his lovely face.
Even if it would jack up his hornicure.

The path continued on, Yari even taking a bit of the lead, more or less using Its ghost companion as a lamp. It went left, right, left and left again, and had yet to meet another dead end. Finally!

Maybe reaching his arms out had made all the difference - it wasn't like anyone could see him walking like a gross zombie or something. Faysal slipped nimbly through the doorway he'd missed the first time and continued on his way.

"Certainly we're getting close to any end there might be," Yari reasoned aloud, but the ghost beside him shrugged. Perhaps it wasn't very easy to speak when your mouth was sewn shut. It continued on, choosing the left path rather than the right at a fork. Wasn't there some rule about mazes, just follow one wall until you reached the end? Unfortunately, It couldn't be sure if this was actually a maze at all, or just a dizzy main branch with several little diversions leading to nowhere.
