Sin just settled for blotting out the chaos in the room and working his way through the mock test, head down, though everything about his posture still more stressed and tense than he actually intended it to be. He consciously tried to relax, he was fine, the talking wasn't bothering him.

He trailed a claw down to the first question.

He frowned. He was sure he knew this one, it was right there on the tip of his tongue but no answer was forthcoming. It did little to help his tension levels and made him think rather panicked that it wasn't a good sign to be forgetting all you knew mere days before the end of school.

"Thanks!" Tex said, taking the bracelet and looking at it for a moment before slipping it on. Honestly, he wasn't really big on wearing bracelets. He could almost understand a wristwatch, but other than that, nothing was meant to BE ON the wrist. It was just--well... strange, he thought as he looked at the bracelet. Oh well, long as it made her happy, he decided as he grinned at May--

And then he looked at Arcana. "Boil, aren't you a third year?" he asked bluntly. "I know it can be a bit overwhelming, though," he added, trying to see both sides of the issue. It just--well, you didn't grow up by shivering in your boots! "But maybe if you calmed down they'd stop pickin' on you."

Skylar was late to class, he knew that. But it wasn't like missing one class now was going to change things. He knew he had done well enough to graduate. Anything now was just extra to him. Still, he wanted to make the effort.

Slipping through the doorway, the gargoyle put a finger to his lips in hopes the others wouldn't sell him out to the teacher. He doubted they would though and quickly moved past the first rows of desks and was about to slip into his seat. That was until he spotted a familiar face under the desk close to his. Something which he had grown used to seeing over the past three years.

With a sigh, he moved to pull Arcana out.

"How is it you keep finding your way under the desk?" He asked. There was a crooked smile on his face as started to pull the reaper out, like he always did, only to realize there was another face. "Selena too? Its a party under here today! What are you guys doing?" He asked, crouching down and looking at them both curiously before he offered Tarot and May a friendly wave.

Selene was utterly relieved to see that Carafe was coming towards her, which means she didn't have to attempt the treacherous walk over to May. She watched him slither closer, and a rare smile parted her lips, showing pearly whites that no one got to see very often. "What is that, you are bringing me, Carafe~?" She coo'd, reaching one arm out to accept the gift as well as the snake, while her other hand stayed on Arcana as support. If she let go entirely, it was just asking for trouble.

Selene felt Arcana curl her into his arms, which she was thankfully used to by now, but still terribly embarrassed about. If only she wasn't so clumsy, perhaps she wouldn't be such a bother to him.. and then.. maybe..

Skylar made her little smile disappear; not out of unhappiness, but sheer proximity and shyness kicking in and forcing her to withdraw and hide her face behind her beaded braids. Her whispery voice returned, as she breathed out a very quiet, barely heard, "Hi, Skylar. It's nice to see you again."

He was pulling at Arcana, however, which made her sway dangerously, and she let out a terrifying squeak. Was this the end?!

Jinhai just gave Kato a Look - one that clearly said I know you know, I'm just reminding you anyway so you don't act like a doufuss.

"Kato isn't your type anyway," he said dismissively to Dis, sliding one sheet of paper beneath another, and then flipping through the rest stacked on his desk. He had the distinct feeling he wasn't going to get any work done whatsoever, not with the two of them - and now Brock - bickering and flirting over his head.

"Dis, you're drooling on my essay."

Jinhai could almost see Kato stiffening in apprehension, though he wasn't even looking at the boil. Three years of spending time with the other dragon, and he'd long since learned to read him, despite the fact that he still wasn't even sure if they were "friends," "enemies," or just "two people in the same classes for three years."

He glanced up from his paper, a mildly exasperated expression on Jinhai's face as he said, "Brock, don't encourage him, you'll just make it worse."

Tarot waved to Skylar as she happily took May's bracelet. “Hey! Nice to see you here.” She laughed and leaned forward, hands on her knees as she looked underneath the table. “I know, right? Maybe we should get everyone under the tables and we can have a fun party.” Fortunately, this was also when she noticed a certain elemental still spread across the floor. Smiling, she rolled her eyes and walked over to Westhor. “Still feeling down?” she asked as she offered him a hand to grab.

And then Tex was talking to Arcana about things and she gave the cowboil a look. OAO!!!!

Westhor's eyes watered as he took Tarot's hand, "You're a good person, sister. So chill." Once he was up on his feet, he opened his arms, "Can I... Have a hug, sister?"
