Running Race [RACE OVER - Congrats winners!]

Lyle decided to try yelling at it, because he had no better ideas. "Hey Blitzle! You must be tired by now! Let one of us catch you so you can rest!"  

[seru_ame]

No, a little too slow... Sticking her tongue into her cheek, Seru closed her useless eyes, and tried to get her rental to understand her, nudging her forward with her knees...

Lyle was about to yell again when a sudden jump made him nearly bite his tongue. He kept his mouth firmly shut until he figured out if he was ok.  

[seru_ame]

And... the beast misunderstood, apparently, as it dropped back. "Ugh, come on, sweetie... I know you're tired... a little more..."  

[seru_ame]

That seemed to put the rental into a much better mood, and it surged forward for another pass...

Ok, no harm done. Lyle checked the ground ahead to make sure there were no sudden obstacles before yelling again. "We could all be done and you can get some rest if you just let us get you!"  

[seru_ame]

"Come on... You can do it..." Seru whispered, and then flicked the reins lightly...  

[mewrose]

Teh Blitzle didn't seem to be paying attention. May as well stop that, then. Lyle wracked his brain for a better idea.  

[mewrose]

Was the Blitzle getting tired? He seemed so close! "Come on, just a little more," Lyle told his Ponyta.  

[seru_ame]

Oh man, too much speed! Seru was almost knocked from her saddle...  

[mewrose]

And now it was farther again. How did it keep doing that?  

[seru_ame]

That burst of speed apparently tuckered out her poor rental, and she patted its neck, comfortingly. "Come on, sweetie..."  

[seru_ame]

Apparently... her mount had decided to stop to catch its breath. Alright, Seru could wait a few seconds....

Lyle was starting to get sore from all this riding. He was not going to feel good when this was over.  

[seru_ame]

Alright, they were back in business, and very close! "Come on... you can catch it... I'll give you a sweet poffin..."
