"Is the word you are looking for queen?" Logan asked as he believe that it was that word that she didn't know. Slowly he understood why she was helping them, she had nothing to go back to her kind and he believed that she was seeking a way out of the forest.

Skyelar shook her head. "That was my mother," she said. Her hand was pressed to her side again. "I can't go to any clan for help with my wounds."

"That one is worse, would you like me to take a look at that one and bandage it as well?" Logan asked and waited for her answer. Before she could answer he added "The word is princess." He was telling her the word she was seeking, he wasn't addressing her by that title.

Skyelar nodded. "Please," she begged. "I was that, a princess as you call it. I am such no longer. You can call me Skye. My name is really Princess of the Sky but that is just the translation."

Logan once again moved to her side while he said "Alright." He pulled out another bandaged and pulled her hand away from her side and pushed her shirt up to look at the wound. He cleaned it as best he could and wrapped a bandaged around her stomach tightly. If this kept up he would run out of bandages before too long. It would hold it well enough to stop the bleeding and let the body heal its self. "Don't move around much, and try to avoid fights for a while." He told her as he stepped back, and returned to his spot next to the tree.

Skyelar nodded and walked over to where he was. She sat down beside him. "I only will speak to you," she said slowly. "I trust you."

Logan rose an eyebrow to what she said. "You trust me? We just met earlier today." He was surprised by the fact that she trusted him already, he was trusting her to guide him through the forest. However he didn't think that she would be trusting him.

"You are odd like Elves," Skyelar said as she touched his hair. "You saw me when you should not have. You even dared to touch me, to help me."

Logan let her touch his hair and after a moment he said "Everyone desires help if they need it." He let what he said hang in the air in silence for a minute before answering her unasked question, "I was born this way."

Logan nodded his head as she said it correctly. He could feel a small grin pulling at his lips. No one ever said anything like that to him before, most everyone left him be. He was use to both standing out because of his hair, and being ignored by most everyone.

Skyelar stopped playing with his hair. "I like you," she said. "You seem like an Elf. Some of us are born with white hair."

Logan nodded his head as he understood what she was saying. He put his bow back across his lap as he leaned his head back against the tree. He could feel how tried he was becoming. He couldn't help the grin that slipped onto his face as she said that she liked him.

Skyelar rested her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes. She didn't understand it but she felt safe with him.

Logan looked over at her out of the corner of his eye, and couldn't help the grin that was on his face. Now this isn't something I believed would happen. He closed his eyes against the pale light of the moon and tried to fall into the hands of sleep. He made himself a light sleeper, because of all his travels. He would awake if anyone stepped close enough and made some noise that could be heard. After a while he drifted off.
