"Does the boy who got turned into a giant spider count?" Mary stated as she pointed back to the house across the way. "I know I heard someone say in there that he's trying to eat their house or something."

((I didn't usually join these types of rp, but I love stories where you turn into strange creatures. So what the heck!))

Lana walked into town keeping her head low and hoping noone would notice her. She had on an old shirt of her father's(who had been a very big man) and a loose fitting pair of jeans. The shirt hung loosly in her, but it didn't hide the fact that her belly was alot larger for someone otherwise thin and only five feet tall.
The long sleeves were rolled up enough so she could moved her hands freely. She was glad they hid her arms though. IF only she could have covered the fact that her hair was now aqua and her skin was a glistening greenish-white. She tried not to bump into anyone, mainly for her babies sake, but it was hard to do when her vision was blurring and she could barely hear.
To think this happened just after she finished cleaning her father's yard of all the small stone;s that littered the property. Now she was pregnant, changing and without a place to stay. Her father was not a tolerent man(some would say cruel) and he no longer wanted her to stay.
Lana held back tears. What was she supposed to do?

Lana looked up as someone spoke to her. She tried not to stare at the woman, but it was the tail and forked tongue that caught her attention. She tried not to look so shocked. She'd been seeing strange sights lately. So many that her head reeled, but she still was surprised. The woman was also heavily pregnant. Much farther along than Lana was.
The woman asked if she had a place to stay. Any other time Lana would have politely declined, not wanting to intrude. But she was so scared, confused, and desperate that she jumped on the chance.
"Really? I really, really need to go somewhere." she flinched at how rude that sounded. "If it's not too much trouble." she tacked on.
Lana rubbed her eyes again as her vision blurred again. Mostly from tears, but they were doing that even before she started crying. Unknown to her an inner eyelid slid over her eyes for a moment before retracting again.

Lana nodded. "Yes, I did touch the rocks. I felt tired afterward and ended up falling asleep. Next thing I know, I'm like this." she lifted a strand of hair between her fingers.
She was grateful for the womans comforting gester. It made more tears come to her eyes but she tried to hold them back. She needed to get a hold of herself. So she shook her head at the woman's apology.
"No, it's fine. Thank you, Mary. I'm Lana." she said, smiling a little. It was hard not to smile at the way they probably looked. She giggled a little at how only there bellies touch. Then she found herself holding them back. It wasn't that funny, but this wasn't the first time that afternoon that her mood switch abruptly. She supposed it could be from her pregnancy but she didn't really know. She'd nver really asked about this kind of thing before.

Lana smiled, if a little nervously. "I suppose so...." she said hesitantly.
This woman had seemed to accept her changes rather quickly. Perhaps she would... eventually. This was still too new and overwhelming for her to accept just yet. She place a hand on her own belly, thoughtfully.
Lana winced at her skin began to itch again. She reached up to scratch her forarms as she looked back at Mary. "Perhaps we should go inside or something? I admit, I'm a little hungry too. Where is this house?" she blushed with embarressment. She hadn't payed attetion to where the woman come from.

"Oh, um, didn't see you there Jessie." Mary said as she blushed. "She looked at Lana with her black eyes and said, "Follow Jessie and you'll find yourself at her house soon enough."

She followed after Jessie after and said, "Didn't think I'd hear you say those words at all."
