Freya jumped in and crept up behind Mitsu, wrapping her arms around the shorter ghoul and hopping up and down with a hushed excitement that looked as though she was trying to convey how very happy she was, without being rude during such a quiet and peaceful occassion. As it was, she was only barely hopping up and down, and her squeals were almost whispers.

"Mitsu I can't believes what I am hearings, yehr goings teh be a married woman, in high school! Is just like those movies I watch on teh Deathtime channel where teh young ghouls accidentally have pumpkins with their boilfriends and they learn how teh be parents while still taking classes, eeeeee!"

Freya clearly did not understand the meaning behind said shows. They were just good, wholesome entertainment.

"I would love to-" Before she could continue, she found that someone else had jumped into their conversation; while Freya's excitement was contagious, and she found herself smiling along with the ghoul, she also spent some time standing there, stunned, before looking absolutely aghast at what she had to say.

No! That was what Mac didn't want! They were still in school! He actually made sense! Immediately, she stared at Freya, shaking her head before putting her arms in an 'X'. Then, she grabbed Mitsu's hands.

"Oh Mitsu, the wedding will take place after the both of you graduate right? There are so many things - so, so many things - we need to think about. The venue, the decoration, the dresses and suits, the best man, the bridesmaids... While she was talking to Mitsu, she was also talking to Freya, because this was important, "Your situation is different from the situation of the ghouls on those shows!"

Christof, soaking wet, met Lizzy's eye with a mental defensive retort that said it hadn't been on purpose okay? And who's great idea was it to do a ceremony involving fire anyway.

Freya looked legitimately disappointed that Lizzy was clarifying the date of the wedding to be before they graduated. While she was all for waiting, she had already begun to hope that they would all end up on that Teen Mom show one day..

And mentally, she'd been picking out her outfit for her interview portion and deciding what wonderful things she would say about Mitsu.

"Awwww." She whined in disappointment.

Okay, so apparently he was supposed to know Xiu. Mac just shrugged, pretending he didn't care one way or another when in reality it was pretty damn true. He let Lizzy manhandle him, taking the lantern as it was handed to him, wandering over towards the lake when she prompted him to; frankly, he didn't really want to do this. But a send off was a send off, and he could at least pay some respects to the Demoness who at least tried.

Just as he was about to light the candle, someone insisted on being stupid.

Black eyes shot out to narrow at the Valkyrie whom was quietly squealing about teenage mothers and scarelings during class and---auugh why did Deathtime channel even broadcast that rubbish? It put ideas into impressionable heads! Ones that he'd in turn have to deal with! Stupid Freya, being stupid.

Mac was not happy, and instead of adding his input on the subject - mostly because Lizzy told him he had to be nice or else - he turned away from them entirely, removing himself from the conversation he didn't want to be a part of, and set to lighting his lantern.

Now...what to say about Riley. Hrm.



Sure Amrita felt bad for laughing, but under the circumstances she just couldn't help it! The guilt didn't really set in until she realized just how miserable he looked, and her eyes dropped to the ground. A moment of chewing on her bottom lip later and she reached out, giving his monstrous hand a light squeeze.

"Wanna send this off with me?" She offered, still unsure if he had already done it already or not but gesturing to the lantern nonetheless.

Jericho moved his wing away from Shehk for the moment as he watched Christof ignite himself before the scramble to put himself out. He would have helped, but the situation had already been taken care of. Granted, the fiasco sort of killed the mood in general.

Heading on towards the table, the dragon picked up another cupcake and gave it a whiff. He was cautious, especially since apparently there were flavors like durian here. He didn't want no jacking fruity cupcake.

Once he got an idea of what it was, he turned towards the pricolici.

"Blood cupcake?"

Handing the cupcake over, Jericho grabbed another one to give it a wary sniff just as before. He actually. Couldn't tell what scent this one was. It just smelled sweet. Very sweet. Furrowing his brow, he gave a careful lick of the frosting. Holy tiamat's s**t it was sweet.

Still unsure what the flavor was, he took a bite out of it.

His expression changed as he practically felt like he had bitten into a bag of sugar.

Icky stix. That had to be it.

It was definitely a little much for himself. Riley probably would have loved it... and become sugar high after one cupcake. The thought was amusing, yet saddening at the same time.

Hearing a click, Jericho turned towards Shehk only to find that she had taken a picture of his current sugar filled woe.

"... You aren't going to use that as blackmail are you?"
