The Kishin Egg didn't turn around."Or perhaps I am confident I can defeat you, even here. Not that you leave me much of a choice, witch. Cowering in your dimension as you do." The Kishin Egg finally turned to face her. "I am one soul away from becoming a Kishin. Your soul."

The Kishin Egg paused momentarily as the scenery began to change but it quickly took everything in stride. A witch's dimension was subject to her whims and it was not surprising at all that she could change it. "I have no nightmares," it laughed. The Kishin Egg lunged at her once more, feinting left then launching itself right, swinging at her with its claws.

As the crystals exploded into shards, the Kishin Egg thrust its arms out in either direction, causing its resonance force to explode in every direction. Many of the smaller shards were melted before they could reach it but the larger ones penetrated the resonance force, pin-cushioning the Kishin Egg with bits of jagged, broken crystal. For a moment the crystal shards reflected the glowing red resonance force around the kishin egg causing it to glow like one of the eerie red stars in the extra-dimensional sky.

The kishin egg shook itself furiously like a wet dog, sending the crystal shards flying to the ground. Puncture wounds covered the kishin egg and it growled in anger. "So, this is your true form? it asked, looking at her transformed appearance. "And your plaything is really your staff. Maybe you aren't as much of a silly little girl as you seemed. It makes no difference. Your age does not concern me. I have torn apart many witches who counted on their "vast experience" to save them."

The kishin egg took a deep breath, shooting a gout of dark crimson flame in the direction of the witch; flame that would not only burn physically but would burn the very resonance force of its target as well.

"I've heard that one before!" roared the Kishin Egg as it launched itself into the sky with an explosion of red resonance force under its paws. The energy wave rolled under the Kishin Egg, annihilating the spot it had been moments before. Jagged shards of rock flew into the air, bouncing off the Kishin Egg as it rose. "Tell me, what is your body-count witch? How many foes have you slain? Hundreds? I doubt it."

The kishin egg took a deep breath once more, spitting a ball of flame in the direction of the witch as it reached the apex of its jump.

"Is that so?" Asked the Kishin Egg, genuinely surprised. "Then you do know the power of madness; the power that fuels a witch's destructive magic. If that is true, why did you seal me? You should have torn that seal off as soon as you realized what it was and set me free."

Suddenly the ground beneath it began to rumble. It jerked in surprise, looking down just in time to see the ground explode underneath it in a pillar of lava that went high into the sky. For a few moments no movement could be detected within the lava as it continued to rise. Then, a form exploded from the lava covered in flames. The Kishin Egg seemed like a ball of fire itself as it flew out of the lava and rolled across the ground, over and over shattering rocks until it rolled into the water, putting out the flames. After a moment it rose, curls of smoke trailing it as it walked back onto land. "Yes..." it said. "You DO know its power."

"What!?" Asked the Kishin Egg. It looked upwards in time to see the dark energy wave coming at him from above. The Kishin Egg took a deep breath as the wave descended, roaring out a stream of flame that collided with the dark energy wave. For a moment the energy wave pressed against the flame, seeming as if it were being held in the air by a red geyser. Then it exploded, sending flame and dark energy in every direction.

"You fool! What does that matter!? You are a WITCH! A being of madness! You prove it with every attack you make against me here that is fueled by that very power! "Business" and "logic" are no concern of yours! Spread that madness as you were meant to!" As soon as it stopped speaking, the Kishin Egg spat two fireballs in rapid secession up at her.

"Hundreds I must say,"it said.

"As a human I killed dozens to satisfy my masters. Or more precisely, the crowd. They were in truth my masters. I consumed their souls as I had been taught to do. The more maddened the participants, the more exciting the show, is it not? And as it was inevitable, I changed; became more than a human. And that was when the crowd truly began to enjoy itself. And when the killing truly began."

The Kishin Egg began slowly walking towards her, its fur singed and burnt, blood oozing from countless puncture wounds. "You say I am in your world? No, when the battle began you came into mine. One being against another, to the death with nothing but glory and power as the prize. The crowds may not be roaring but I can still hear them. Calling for death. Is it any wonder the child you met became what you see before you?
