Seeing others begin to leave, Lan motioned to her makini. It was time to go. Not use lingering in.... mud and who knew what else. Still the little mini gathered one more thing before following her mistress.

The horsewoman simply stared at the male war horseman and Zhi as they approached her with their willingness to assist. "I... I am indebted," she managed, clasping her hands and bowing to them respectfully. "I am unknowing if she is here, or if she has gone elsewhere. I..." She glanced at their burdens, shaking her head. "I wish not to have you carry those while you search. If you would please remember to keep an eye out for her, I would be honored."

"I fear now that I have taken up too much of your time," Radha said, spreading her wings wide. "I... Thank you, again." With another bow, the war horsewoman took off, soon becoming a speck in the sky.

What DID come first? Their queen was dead, their heir was now a protector of this entire shoved together clan. His family was gone, his lover was gone, his notes and studies were gone as well. His duty right now, as far as Fai was concerned, was to live long enough to get revenge for what had happened to them. In order for that to happen, he needed to find a way to survive. But that wasn't a duty, that was just a fact of life in his eyes.

Perhaps he was a bad horseman, not listing things as duties, but he was a survivor, and a scientist. He was not a warrior or a noble. Noble intentions such as "duty" could be left to those that used them.

Instead of replying as the war horseman left he turned, looking at Eisheth. "Until I have a proper place to study the fauna of this land, I am as lost as you as to what would be useful. Gather what you can, the new clan will figure out how to use it."

Then, his mind still swirling with thoughts of duty and revenge, he headed to gather his own supplies and leave. He had thinking to do.

Eisheth was uncertain how to react to Faiyum's words. She got used to the feeling, he's a rival, though their rivalry was a bit awkward since they always specialized on different things. But right now, the situation was so.. strange, none of them could ever predict anything like this would happen. She felt like.. she was sympathizing with him? Anyway, he was correct. None of them, except may be Medea, had any particular thoughts, nobody could be certain in what they are doing. The alchemist called for her vaisel again, and sent the pet to collect more dry moss. Perhaps, it would be of some use. Who knows. Better try something new then.
