The gems were so colorful and it was hard to pick which ones would look best in the armlet. She ended up going with two small rubies and one small diamond. The were really quite beautiful and she hopwed she could get them to work well with the armlet she made.

Reeshie Hack And with that I'm done for the night. Tomorrow will be day two I guess ^^ Thanks for the RP <3 I hope to do some more iwth you Lumi nodded at the boil and hoped that she would be able to spend more time with him. She looked towards the instructor as she began to tell them what the events would hold for them the next day. Smiling sweetly at Jullian as she started to place her things in the velvet pouch, "I really hope that tomorrow I'll get to see you again...if you're okay with that...that is..."She had gotten over the quick insecurities she had after his reassurance but was still a little awkward.

Hamika glanced about the place, sitting off to the side for the most part. She pulled out one diamond and one emerald from the pot and set about trying to fit them in the ring. She frowned; three stones would have been a better choice, or one, but she'd have to do with two.
The little ghoul undead worked hard over the task, making sure they would stay. The whole idea of them having FEAR was incredibly interesting to her and she kept writing down notes to put in her files of useful information.
The zombie reporter looked around for anyone she knew, but seemed to relatively keep to herself otherwise. And she most definately kept her eyes off of others' knees. Didn't need a repeat of the incident at Scaretines....

The design came natural once the stones were involved, a little bit more tweaking and the bending of the copper wire from phos as the larger sized emerald slipped into the brooch's main compartment, the green hues and all its many shades that was like the pup's own eyes reflected, flanked from below by the three smaller stones. It felt right, and the rumbling of approving feelings from within seemed to echo that sense of satisfaction .

When they came to class again, Moure was just as attentive as before. Ylaria spoke, explaining the gems to them. Moure's mind immediately flickered back to the Diamond Circlet and the Ruby Bangle he'd worn before, reflecting silently on their amazing effects. Sure, these were smaller gems, and probably a lot less powerful, but Moure knew they were still amazing, special jews that should be respected.
As the bag was was passed around, Moure's mind reeled with possibilities. He knew he would take a diamond, simply because he'd been awestruck with it's power before. Plus, with his lack-of-skills in fighting, he could use the boosted protection.
The real problem was picking what else he would select. He'd take only two. Any more than that might overwhelm his bracelet, or might be considered greedy by their director. When the bag reached him, Moure reflected on the contents, reaching inside. His fingers gently slipped over the little gems, sifting through them as he went. He trawled a handful forward, picking through it with his other hand and finally pulling out a glittering diamond. He replaced the rest of the gems and then swirled his fingers around in the bag again, closing around one. He pulled it out and opened his hand, revealing a what looked to be an amethyst. He hadn't discovered the powers of this type yet, but it seemed to be a good choice. Hopefully luck had been on his side for this.
He passed the bag along, gazing contently at his two gems. Now, he just had to attach them to his bracelet...

Hel was quiet as she worked on applying the purple gem stone. She never applied something like this to it before, so she could only hope she’d get the job done well. Maybe she’d offer it up for the Death Horsewoman to look over after she was finished?
That didn’t seem like a bad idea…

When presented with a choice of gems, it was difficult for the reaper to choose from such extravagance. She picked up a diamond and sapphire, holding it to the sky to see the light shining through the brilliant jewelry. They were all rather tempting. But when it came to her friends, Lacie wanted to grow strong enough to protect them all. That was why she would choose gems of strength and protections.
"Mai, what will you choose?" She turned to ask her friend, passing the case of jewelry.
She held her wired brooch in her other hand, carefully setting the respective jewels inside of their casing.

The first day of the death class had proved rather lonely but still productive for the greed demon. Ace had successfully landed himself a new piece of gold, small and fragile albeit, and was wearing it not in his hair but on his suit's front pocket. It was a new suit today, something far more fetching to match the theme of the class. Each cuff-link was a different gemstone and a different suit symbol. A diamond and heart on one cuff and a spade and club on the other. Frankly he looked a little ridiculous.. but a consumer of wealth none the less.
"Ketchu-I mean Kettil, nice to see you and your owl today," the demon waved on his way in prior to the lecture. This time he sat down beside Hel and eyed a certain Lupine ghoul momentarily. Back and forth he glanced at the two and a lightbulb went off in his head. "You two look like you could be part of some playing card design.. I just realized.." he said to the Valk nosily after Ylaria had finished the first part of her lecture.
The diamond he'd picked up at the small cave where he did his 'spelunking,' as Kettil would have described was protecting him? It made sense, he supposed as diamonds were the toughest stone. He didn't realize however that they had more... biological effects than just plain rocks. And Sapphire was of strength. Why didn't he pick her when she shone in that narrow cavern? Was he not strong enough? Ptooey, that was just nonsense. Perhaps this new task would give him the opportunity to find out.
Ace adjusted his wire-thin spade pin (say that five times fast) then waited for the offering to reach around to him before taking what he could.

Now came the tricky part. Morrigan chose to use the two rubies to fill out the heart shape of her armlet. Using the tools she tried to fasten the wire around the gems to the best of he abilities. Next, she took the diamond and fastened it to the bottom of her armlet, again trying to get the wire to firmly hold it in place. There really wasn't much else she could do at this point but hope it held.
She really loved the gems she went with. The rubies meant devotion and what better way than to have a couple of them side by side in the shape of a heart? And the diamond meant protection and if you were devoted to the person you expected to give such an armlet to, you'd want them to be protected right? It made her armlet feel more and more like it was meant to be given to a sweetheart, or at least someone admirable. She didn't want to get too attached to it because she didn't know what would be in store for them but a part of her really hoped they could keep them.Rolling For Success

Julian returned to class the next day feeling more relaxed than he had near the end of last class. Without a second thought, he took his seat from before, giving Kettil a small nod of greeting before fetching his kit. Listening to the instructor, he was already considering which gems he might take.
When the box finally came around, he took one of the larger sapphires for his necklace.
"What did you take?" he asked Kettil curiously, glancing over the reaper boil's shoulder.

With the second day of class ensuing, Ev was just as engulfed in today's teachings as she had been the first. The day prior she'd managed to make a small moth hair pin out of her gold wire. It wasn't the prettiest, but.. the shape was identifiable. Taking her seat, she looked curiously to what was being passed around the room. As it reached her, she carefully let a hand slip in to dig around for some of the precious stones. What kind? Well, she'd leave that up to fate.
Ah, just one. But no matter. Surprisingly enough it was an emerald. Fitting due to her breed. Smiling lightly, she looked along the metal that had already been strewn together. How to incorporate this...

((Rolling for Success))
While idly and casually talking Ace had yoinked four whole gems, A diamond, a Ruby, a Sapphire, and an Emerald, again, one for each suit, Smirking Ace flashed his cuffs to the stones and tried to make his pin match the set of colors that he was already wearing.

He heard Ace's voice greeting him yanking him out of any further turmoil he might be putting himself in due to the quality of his design and overall work and he gave the boil a grin and a bit of a wave, "Heya, Ace," he said in a chipper tone, "nice to see ya too," he continued on not seeming to catch onto Ace's near slip up over his name.
Honestly? Kettil didn't care what he was called.
Kettil perked up once again hearing the voice over his shoulder, "An emerald! They are one of my favorite gems," he said happily.
