Markus stared at Ellery for a moment. Ryuu even leaned forward in his seat to join in on the staring. Versatile? Ellery? The two turned their heads and exchanged looks, asking each other the same silent question. Could someone that feminine really have an interest in women? Shrugging simultaneously, they relaxed in their seats and resumed looking at their phones. After a minute Ryuu got up and excused himself. He needed alcohol.

Fredrich didn't reply to Lock, Ellery took care of that for the both of them. Instead, he looked back at the large, closed curtain, though his attention was elsewhere. Were they really like that? He was aware that he focused intently on his job, but did he neglect his family by doing so? That couldn't be right. If he did, it was for their protection. There's an extraordinary large bounty over his head, and if people knew about Ellery and Daniel... He wouldn't forgive himself if something happened to them. He had to focus on his job for their sake. That was right, wasn't it?

Ethan frowned at Ellery's yank and looked at the back of Lock's head. "Well it's not bleeding." he murmured while moving hair around. He leaned away and held out a pack of orange-flavored gum. "Want some?" he offered with a sheepish smile. Who knows, maybe it'd help distract him from the pain?

Ryuu stood outside of the building, one hand in his pocket and the other holding his glass of whiskey. He breathed against the edge of his glass, his breath coming out in small mists from the cold winter's air. Noticing a figure linger nearby instead of walking in or out to their car, he turned his head and scowled at the sight of the songwriter. "Did you seriously chase me down to yell some more?" he griped. Maybe he should get a second glass to help him bear the incoming insults.

Feeling the poke, Fredrich snapped out of his daze to look at Lock, shaking his head in reply. "No, what you said was right. Ellery and I haven't been on the best of terms. Especially after I learned about how chummy he's been with your other band member, Bae." he said, eyes flashing with anger as he remembered the picture he was sent. That still ate away at him, and he was sure the two had gotten cranky because of this distance they put, but he had a feeling that it wasn't Lock that made Ellery walk out. Still... "Has there ever been anything between them?" This was perhaps the only chance he'd get to have information on them.

"What did I do?" hissed Ryuu before taking another long sip of his drink. Didn't this annoying brat just say this wasn't about him? And now he's yelling at him! Somehow it's not entirely surprising.

"I see." Fredrich murmured as he stared forward, feeling much relief now. So that man that was acting tough before was just that: acting tough. There's nothing to worry about. Probably.

Ryuu watched in interest as the other male began suffering his break down of sorts. So the two were having relationship problems. He could sympathize. Sort of. Looking down at his glass, the blue-haired man swished the ice around a couple times then downed the rest of his drink. He looked at Ellery for a second then walked back in.

"Here." Ryuu muttered one minute later, a second glass of whiskey held out in a friendly gesture to the songwriter. Once taken, he moved to the man's side and sat down beside him with a grunt. "I suppose I can understand your problem. Jealousy loves hanging around me nowadays. Drinking helps more than it should."

Although the story made the detective's eyebrow twitch for a second, he seemed relatively indifferent. "He sounds too shy for someone of his build." he commented. In retrospect, Bae was a lot like Fredrich. They had the stoic expression that gave them an air of mystery and a tall, strong body that made them naturally demanding and assertive. Now, to throw it all away with a shy blush and an awkward mumble, that wasn't what a lot of people thought of. At least with him. If he were a mumbling mess he'd never hear the end of it from Cameron and, God forbid, Hayden.

And then there was Ethan to bring his bad luck and infect Fredrich with doubt.
"That's pretty cute." the Texan chuckled while crossing his arms. "He looks all tough and scary, but deep down he's just a nervous wreck. I dunno, that just seems adorable to me, y'know?"

Ryuu listened as he gazed forward and occasionally drank his beloved alcohol. After a moment he set down his glass and waited for the liquid to settle before giving his opinion. "I don't think he's assuming you're sleeping with anyone. He's probably worried. After all, I wouldn't be able to sit idly by while the person I loved sat on someone else's lap. I'd at least be upset about it. I mean, why would you pick someone else when I'm just a phone call away? Shouldn't I be the one you care about the most?" he mumbled the last part more to himself than to Ellery. He was gazing sadly at his nearly empty glass when he remembered where he was, quickly sitting up and looking back at the brunette. "I guess it's the same thing you're dealing with. I've been in love with someone for so long, but they always elude me every time I try to get closer to them. There's someone else involved, I know it. I think I know who it is, too, and I just can't understand what he has that I don't." He gazed at his glass again, eyes hard and full at contempt as they watched one ice cube melt. After a silent moment, he rose to his feet. "Come on. Any longer and we'll be locked out of the theater." he grunted, drunk grumpiness edging onto his handsome face.

Ethan leaned in to peek at the photo. He stared at the adorable blushing face and smirked at it then looked at Lock. "Why don't you get that way whenever I sit on your lap?" he demanded before looking at the other photo, or more the muscles.
Fredrich didn't pay attention to any of it, at least he didn't want to. What was this, a sign for him to leave the songwriter? It seemed that way. In fact, it was as if so many people wanted them separated. Just what was he supposed to do?

Ryuu paused when his arm was grabbed and turned halfway to look down at the songwriter. "Maybe we can sometime. Just because Kenshin hates you all with all his heart doesn't mean I do." He looked back towards the seats then back at Ellery, nodding at him. "I'll see you in there." He left the smaller man to himself and walked down to his nearby seat.

"I'd love to see you jealous." Ethan said with a devilish grin on his face. "I bet you'd be all angry and sexy and stuff."

Fredrich looked down when he felt his arm grabbed and blinked at Ellery's sudden change of mood. "Hmm? What's all this change about?" He paused and sniffed the air. "Have you been drinking?"

"I'd rather think of a time that didn't involve him. Each time ended bad." Ethan said, shuddering at his own memories. The first time landed him in jail - On the bright side, he did get those sweet orange uniforms - and the second made him break-up with Lock and end up having a kid constantly try to attack him any time he got near Fredrich.
