Well, wrestling was not his forte, but he was not frightened at the idea of her being strong and good at in. If anything it excited him. And relieved him, certainly relieved him. Certainly it could not be too bad to do in public if she had agreed to a match? "So do you have any specific rules about wrestling where you grew up?" He asked as he walked over to her. There were certainly obvious rules, trying not to sink his claws into his opponent, not biting, and other similar rules, but some had odd rules that he may not know of. At Amityville he had certainly learned to expect the unexpected.
It would definitely be an interesting match due to her smaller size, like nothing he had really tried before. It would be almost like training a scareling, except she would actually know what she was doing and be strong. He rolled his shoulders, trying to loosen up his muscles a bit and then slipping into a waiting stance. Whenever she was ready.

"The method? We were always in our natural forms, not these false things, and anything went? It was not so much as to call 'wrestling' as it was to be brutal. Often much biting was involved, and cheating with tail slaps and quills. So much painful." Ugh, it almost made her body ache to think about it. Both her older and younger siblings had treated her like a sad little punching bad so maybe that was why she could handle abuse easily enough? Honestly Chuppi didn't want to think too hard on it. "Come at me, we can go from there."

Mort was still very confused, but at this point his brain was registering the honey badger mantra to a lesser degree - sure, he didn't think wrestling was the best of things to be doing in this infernal heat, but if that's what they wanted to do to destress, well, alrighty then. Who knew, maybe it would stretch some muscles, get the body fluids pumping (since that mattered to those with beating hearts).
Dragging himself to the shade once more, the zomboil settled down to catch his breath; his other two team mates were welcome to join, as it was prime viewing of the "wrestling match" about to occur. "Don't wear selves out please," he called to Yin and Chuppi. "Need all strength c-can get for next task." Well, so he assumed.
Snips, ever pleased with combat, managed to clamber up atop the barrier Taryn had forced him to be in, claiming the best bird-s eye view of the impending match. It hopped several times, antsy, as if wanting to join in.

Alex stumbled over to join Mort on the sidelines, the front of his shirt still tattered and blood stained. His hair had fluffed up to ridiculous new levels of horrible mess, and he was constantly having to push it out of his eyes. Collapsing on the ground next to Mort and leaning back against the castle, he eyed Yin and Chuppi, not quite sure how to feel about what they were about to do. It sounded as though Chuppi's form of wrestling was a lot more dangerous then what he and Yin had just been doing.
"Wanna take bets on who will win?" Alex asked, a little jokingly, to the zomboil sitting next to him.

"Then...would you prefer natural forms? Oh...but we cannot during the trials." He had never really "wrestled" in his natural form, and what she was talking about sounded more like a brawl than an actual match. "Well, we could still wrestle in that matter, that anything goes. If we do that sort of wrestling we may have to devise a clear method as to how one is determined the winner," he said after hearing Mort's warning about wearing themselves out. "Fighting until one or the other is unable to continue is probably not the best idea right now."

"Heh. Would if knew Yin prowess more," Mort answered with a chuckle. "Knows Chuppi is surprise strong from before. Spines nasty. Mantis tricks up Yin sleeve?"

Alex only had to think about it for half a second. If the weremantis was fighting a ghoul...he'd probably let her win. He wondered if this whole thing was a monumentally bad idea, however. Sure, he and Yin had just been doing the same thing not that long ago, but that was all in fun, and nobody had gotten hurt. These two were talking about biting and stabbing and all sorts of things that made Alex cringe inwardly. He wanted to tell Yin not to do it, but they both seemed to be so committed now.
Instead he just answered Mort, "He's fast, and he's pretty strong, but well..you saw earlier, it doesn't matter if you can catch him and stop him." He had to smile, because it really was the first time Alex had beaten Yin at anything, not including the time he had nearly clawed the other boils chest out.
That had been completely different.
"But he knows a lot about fighting, and trains everyday." Alex, fact, spent most of his mornings watching Yin train, or at least, sitting and reading a book while he trained. "So it could be a close match up?"

"Hrrrm . . ." Knew a lot about fighting? Maybe Mort could grab a lesson or two - he needed some touching up and couldn't rely on Hel for everything. Plus another chance for him to check FEAR levels for his robot hand was always a plus. "Might ask few favors then," he answered with a nod. "Assuming come out n' one piece here."
But that was a bit morbid, so he quickly moved on.
"Would say . . . wait til more even fight: Y2 t-to Y2. Noticed Yin act funny 'round ghouls though, like is scared." Not that he could blame him.

But even as Alex thought that, a large shadow suddenly loomed over head, and he rose his eyes skyward towards the gigantic tentacle that was poised and ready to attack. Well, so much for Yin and Chuppi's wrestling match!

Yin was fully ready for their fight. Before a shadow fell across him and a single drip of water hit his head. He looked skyward. And..."I apologize but it appears that our match will have to wait."
He watched, furious, as the tip of the tentacle came down and bashed into the wall of their castle, knocking a few grain-boulders loose. He dashed forward while it was still on the ground, determinedly running in the sand, and sunk his claws into the tentacle before it raised up again.
His rper might have been mentally yelling "For Narnia!" as he did so, but that is unconfirmed at this time.

For the love of jack, of course Yin would run straight at the giant kracken tentacle of doooom.
Alex pushed himself to his feet, feeling rather terrified but seeing Yin run head first into battle gave him some courage he didn't even know he had. Even as the weremantis sank his claws into the beastly creature, Alex was shambling forward, ready to do whatever he could to help defend their castle.
The tentacle swept downwards again, knocking yet more of the sand away from the castle. There was plenty to grab a hold of, all Alex had to do was reach for it. He grabbed on, and found himself suddenly lifted off of the ground.
This was stupid. This was sososososososososososo stupid! Why was he doing this again? With an inward whimper, he brought up a fist to punch into the tentacle, for whatever tiny bit of damage it might have done.
The kracken itself probably didn't even feel it.

FFFFFUUUUUUU -
Mort could barely scramble out in time before the kraken's tentacle hit the wall beside him, destroying what they had worked so hard to restore. Worse, now Alex was hanging onto the tentacle, which meant he'd probably get some of the shock the older zomboil delivered in retaliation, gritting his teeth at the monstrous opponent.
It would seem Alex would not be alone, however, for Snips, ever valiant, had had enough of these ******** enemies hitting his ******** castle. Claws clacking angrily, the crab leapt onto the incoming tentacle and latched on, delivering a pinch to its own.

And Snips was not a quitter, for once it was atop the tentacle it began to claw its way towards the hapless Alex, black eyes fixed and glaring. Its minions were not to be so stupid! and smell so bad! They were supposed to be tossing stuff at it while he commanded the destruction on the seas at this unwanted intruder.
Each clamp was gripped extra tight as they flailed about.

Yes, Alex was very very stupidly still hanging on to the giant tentacle from the sea. Was he proud of himself for that? Not really. He was far too terrified to be proud.
A sudden jolt went through his body, and his grip on the tentacle tightened, his fingers digging in through the slick, wet flesh. This time he didn't bother to whimper inwardly, he whimpered outwardly as well. What the jack had that been? Was this an electric kracken?
A sudden thought occured to him and he shifted a bit to look down at the ground towards Mort, giving him an accusing glare before his eyes caught the movement of Snips making his way towards him.
Alex suddenly wondered what kracken might taste like, and decided that if he was going to die, he might as well try to find out first, and gave the tentacle a good chomp.
