Those mistakes made me a better man.❞   After a few minutes, Zelos got tired of the square and wandered around the city for a bit, occassionally flirting with the female citizens. He had gotten better at his flirting ways, but he coudln't live if he'd given up entirely. What would the Chosen do then? As he wandered, he found himself at the gates, walking into a scene between the guards, a man, and apparently someone in a costume. "It's a bit early for the costume season, but I give you a thumbs up. That costume looks strikingly alive. Don't you agree, guys?" "Chosen!" "Er....Indeed it does, Chosen." "Still, it is a bit rude to go around assuming someone is a demon just because they look odd. I bet she has the prettiest face underneath that mask." Zelos winked at Blaze, already getting the vibe that it wasn't a costume at all. He knew a clever lie when he heard it, and the man's explanation spelt "I'm bluffing" all over it. The man with white hair said. He had an eye on this Richter character, something in his mind saying this guy was not trustworthy. And yet, that made Cross trust him. The ones that looked trustworthy could betray you and you wouldn't be prepared for it. The ones that looked like they were going to betray you you could prepare for.

Richter stayed near the entrance, watching them. He caught the eye of the white-haired man, though it wasn't trusting. So, Richter returned that gaze. It was natural for Richter. He never trusted anyone since Aster was killed by the very being he was now serving. Thinking of Aster made Richter think of Emil, and he let his head hang so his hair curtained his face. The half-elf closed his eyes as he waited, but opened them when there was a bark. Another dog. "You and your kind seem to have taken a liking to me all of a sudden. What is it with you guys?" "Woof?" Richter sighed and scratched behind the dog's ear, watching the tail wag viciously. Something tells me Ratatosk is messing with me. Still, Richter didn't mind dogs. As long as they didn't slober on him, he was willing to put up with them.

Current Mission: Get my bearings on where I am. Blaze almost didn't get Jade and Zelos' hints, but the possibility that this is very well a world that did not have people like her kind at all was starting to firmly settle in. The realization was a bit unsettling, but she had no choice but to run with it now. "Yes, I do find it cute, but I'll have you know this is customary of my people. We do not show our true faces unless the deepest of trusts has been established. And I was not aware of this 'costume season'. I appreciate the compliments, though." She thought that at most, she might sound like someone from a super reclusive tribe. The guards exchanged nervous and confused looks and whispers with each other after glancing between the three. "A-heh-heh....a costume. Why didn't I think of that before..."
"Because it does look so...I mean, that mouth, those eyes, and that tail!"
"And hiding your face...does that not sound quite extreme?"
"I know...I mean, I've heard Mizuho agents never give their true names, but this---"Blaze cut their conversation with a clearing of her throat. "Ahem. In any case, I am Princess Blaze of the Sol Dimension." Again, she wasn't throwing her title around; she just felt it appropriate to be this formal. The guards made that sort of "We're in it deep now, aren't we?" look to themselves before dropping to one knee and bowing in deep respect. "Princess" stood out to them more than "dimension", and it was as if they didn't notice her implication of being from an entirely different world at all. "P-Princess? Our most sincere apologies, Your Highness!" "We had no idea at all!" "..." Blaze facepalmed, unnerved at being referred to as that title again, but started to get the idea that people felt the need to be this formal too. Jade watched the interaction between the guards and the red-haired male whom they addressed as 'Chosen' with interest. He could tell that he was of noble status. Hearing Zelos's question on how does the Necromancer live with such a long introduction, he laughed. "Isn't it proper to give a proper introduction?" He asked with a cheerful smile. After Zelos had introduced himself, he held his hand out to offer a handshake to the red-haired male. "My, that is a rather short introduction on your part."
He then turned his attention to Blaze and the guards, seeming to be amused at how the guards reacted to Blaze's title as a princess. "Now that's been settled, would you allow us entry into your city?"

He turned his attention to Jade. "In that case, I'm Zelos Wilder, Chosen of Tethe'alla. I'm not military, but hey. I have the second highest authority in Tethe'alla next to the king's." "Chosen, is it safe to trust them?" "If they cause any trouble, I'll take care of it personally. They're my responsibility now." "That's what I'm afraid of...." Devlin blinked as he listened to Regal, hearing him as he said Richter had information on why he and the others were here on Aselia. Well, he said he may have the information, but that was good enough for Devlin. "Really? Maybe I'll go say hi then." He heard the blue-haired man say Richter wasn't very friendly, but Devlin didn't care. He managed to tame a wild dragon adolescent. Becoming friends with Richter would be a piece of cake.

don't mean much to a dead man." One might not have noticed it at first, but Raven disappeared off somewhere. It wasn't long until the old man found his way back to the group. He flowed to his spot in the group and looked over their shoulders at the village. "So what's the name of this village 'ere? Reminds me of ole Yormgen. Seems relaxin' enough. Maybe we could take a break 'ere for a bit. Hm? All this walkin' takes a toll on these ole bones." Raven usually was energetic throughout the groups little journey, but the very moment he spoke of how tired he was, it seemed the old man suddenly became exhausted. When Zelos introduced himself again, Jade laughed slightly. He couldn't help but wonder if Zelos has close connections to the king much like he is with Emperor Peony. Or perhaps he might be a relative much like with a couple of red-haired nobles he knew with King Ingobert. "Given your position as 'Chosen', I assume that you're of noble status yourself?" He asked, seeming to be interested. Hearing the guards interaction with Zelos had him smile with amusement. "My, they seem to have such faith in you, Chosen." There was a hint of sarcasm in his voice. He then glanced over to Blaze then back to Zelos. "Yes, do lead the way." He made a cheerful smile.

He winked at Blaze--just for the heck of it, not because he was flirting with her. "Anyway, let's go." He turned and began walking towards the research facility, his hands behind his head carelessly. "I'm still not clear on what this place is called," she spoke up a couple of moments later, "This city...'Tethe'alla', you say? And what does this role of 'Chosen' entail? The mention of a research facility had caught Jade's interest, which had him wonder if research for fomicry is being done here as well. However, the subject of fomicry wasn't something he wanted to talk about. "Yes, that would be wise to go to a research facility for information." He said with a smile as he followed Blaze and Zelos. He took a moment to look around the city. Reminds me of Baticul, though not as big. He thought to himself. His attention soon shifted back to Zelos when Blaze asked about what a Chosen's role was. He would say something, though he wanted to hear what red-haired Chosen's answer was.

This city is called Meltokio, and it is the capital of this country, which is the 'Tethe'alla' you are referring to." He seemed to shrug off his position. "Every so often, there is a person who is born bearing the gift of the angels. That's the Chosen. Because the Chosen is considered to be a celestial person, he or she has high status. Both the Chosen of Tethe'alla and the Chosen of Sylvarant. I've been recently working to establish peace between Tethe'alla and Sylvarant. That is, until they split into two worlds again." He could only imagine how disappointed Lloyd and Colette were. They were the ones who did everything for the worlds. Still....This just meant there was going to be another journey. "Ah....More fun. He took one step forward only to be surrounded and taken down face first into the dirt. "Ow! Well hello again earth, we really should should meeting face to dirt." he found himself bound and staring around at a group of ninja's. "Hi!" Lord spoke cheerfully looking at his captors, "Nice to meet you, I'm Lord."
"Be quiet!" Said one of the ninjas, "How did you find the village." Lord remained silent, "Answer the question!"Lord drew in a large breath (Skip if you don't like reading rambling gibberish), "Well talk about misleading, first ya tell me to be quiet then ya ask a question. And as an answer, would you believe I was lost in the woods and then followed the cutest little fox-like-thing ever. Still have no idea what she was but, it doesn't make her any less of a cutie. Wonder where she came from too now that I start wondering about her, as far I can tell she wasn't, a natural resident of the woods, and didn't seem to like towns for some reason. Maybe she has some bad experience in a town a while back. That kinda sad, she seemed nice enough. Though now that I think of it, the last time a saw her face she had a little devilish smile on, maybe she planned this as a joke on us. If she did she sure got me good. Though if she didn't I could understand why she doesn't like human cities so much. So who are you guys? Foxy girl said this place is called Mizuho, is that really what called? Are you guys actually ninjas? THAT IS SO COOL!- " Lord continued to ask questions about the village not waiting for any answers. Lord's captors were staring wide eyed at the amount of words coming out of his mouth, not even half of which was registering. Of which the world sounded like it was going down a dark path at the moment, “If… you think I can be of any help, I could come with you, b-but I’m kind of have another mission to find my brothers, they were with me before coming here. I-I am sure with the amount of displaced people that seem to be appearing that Lord and Lee would most likely be here as well…” Major looked around at the group, before quickly adding, “A-at least logically speaking that is. I’m not exactly sure if that is the case, for all I know they could still be back at home.” By the end, Major was whispering and was looking at the ground, kicking the ground.
