Roch was not alone with puking his guts up in the corner. Charlie had also been sickened by the scent and was also puking the entire battle. Finally he stopped and took a deep breath. "I think we need to get out of here.." His tone was flat and serious for the pink haired demon.

"Choops?" Roch called, sounding pathetic. "Gimme a second," he said, digging through his pockets for something to wash the taste out of his mouth. He'd packed up on water--there, he thought, grabbing a bottle from his pocket and uncapping it. He swished it around in his mouth and spit it out, handing it to Charlie when he was done. "Yeah," Roch agreed. "Choops, do you want to come with us? This place stinks."

“Ninja guy?” Edel's eyes flew wide open and she stared at Tybalt with an expression that clearly read : Elaborate Please? Was this to be another life threatening event that the school would face yet again? Honestly, the frost demon wasn't going to be too surprised any more. Within the last three months of her studies here, she had died thrice.

It wasn't a good thing to get used to.
Edel knew better than to think that they had the advantage since there were on home ground. Just recall the previous incident. But at the very least, these guys were not hunters.

Honestly, given her diet and how she was calming and slowing her breathing, Chuppi had smelled far, far worse. Plus would it be safe for them to leave? "I could, but what about El Rey de Rata? What about that large Rat King? Is he dead-dead, or just? Would it be safe to go?" The concern for the other students in the area was very much in her voice and Chuppi bit her lower lip. "There are lots of of us in here sure but. . . . ?"
Mostly she didn't want to go because she thought she had gotten a notice from Mort saying he was there and she was worried, but part of her wanted to get away from all of this so she could have a good cry. People had seemed to like the play but other than Roch giving her a rose (to the head) no one had said anything to her about it. She wanted to stay in here and sulk a little bit as a tiny pre-teen was very apt to do.
"P...plus, is it any safer out there? Ma...maybe we should wait a moment, see what has to be happening. I also really wish to find Mort."

"I'm not really sure to tell you the truth. Lizzy once mentioned that they had taken a field trip to Christmastown last year. I think, perhaps that is where it comes from," Shun mused, looking towards Xiu. His suspicions seemed to be confirmed when he heard a few other students talk about it more. After looking over at Hel who intended on leaving, the Reaper nodded before looking at Mitsu. "We should probably leave too while we can. Perhaps we can get to the bottom of this mess," he said quietly while making his way towards the exit with her. He paused for the moment to turn back to the Baku, seeing if she was coming as well. ((Exit))

"Actually a shower would be outstanding right now. A pumpkin pill too, but I ate the only one I had after Hel and I did our big battle." She shrugged at Mot before lifting her sword and strapping it to her waist and giving a little stretch.
"So do we just leave him here or something? We should probably see if the rest of the school is okay, and I wouldn't really mind making a pit stop to visit Cricket." She rubbed her left hand along the flesh of her other arm huffing. "This damn JOY stuff is starting to itch."

Rain wasn't sure how long she had been unconscious. She woke up on the floor between two aisles. Groggy, she tried to remember what had happened. She recalled a giant rat appearing on stage wearing a costume and she knew that something had hit her in the head. She pushed herself up to her knees and dusted herself off. What was all over her? Her answer lay in her seat. It was a half empty bag of sand. It must have burst open when it hit her because it was all over her clothes, seat and floor.
Using a seat for leverage, she pushed herself up and started to walk towards the door. She was still dizzy and she was sure she had sand up her nose. She was actually thankful for that because the smell of peppermint was thick in the air. Stronger than even the vomit. How many students had emptied out their stomachs before leaving? She didn't like the smell of peppermint but she didn't dislike it either. It reminded her of the school trip last year. She had battled elves and even a ninja. School might be a dangerous place but it was always so much fun.
She needed to find a bathroom and wash the sand from her face. Wasn't there one near the cafeteria?

The rat king was down... And Riyo honestly wanted to just leave it there. After the pepperminty puke, the feline didn't want to even think about taking a bite out of that. "Oh jeez... It's too much." She watched Al and Shun rush out the door and noticed Xiu close to the exit as well. "Don't you leave me here!" Riyo shouted, her tone slightly sick. In a moment the ghoul had closed the gap inbetween them. "You got me into this mess." Though, her tone wasn't very hateful. If anything she was going with Xiu to make sure she didn't end up being gutter stomped somewhere else in the school.
Was the ghoul cold? Hell, she certainly looked it. Riyo took the moment to unbutton the fancy coat that had been her costume and draped it over the baku's shoulders. Luckily, the feline always wore layers, even in a stupid play. "Now you owe me."

Charlie wiped his mouth and gave his friends all a wave before the demon set out for the cafeteria. Right now was no time to stay put.

Well, honestly, he'd prefer her to stay in here, Roch decided after a second. There were plenty of badasses in here, she would be fine even if the rat king DID recuperate. "Okay, little sister," he called to her. "Go find Mort, and whatever you do, stay safe, okay? I'm going to go see what else is out there before they find their way here." Danny was gone already, Xiu would be fine, and--his eyes scanned the room, catching on a familiar red face. "Taryn! You comin' with me or are you staying here?"

Taryn had released a familiar horrible shriek when the rat king appeared, and then was lost in the riot that ensued. She had barely singed the boss' feet, preferring instead to duck under a chair, and now she rushed out to throw her arms around Roch. What was this?! More battling?!
"I'm coming with you! Where ever you're going, I'm coming with you! What's going on?!"

Taryn nodded feverishly, a wrapped bag of spookies still clutched in her hand. This reminded her a bit of the haunted house, really, but more... cheerful. and horrible. What in the world was going on, with Amityville smelling like her grandmother's candy dish and sounding like absolute auditory rape? Something was... very fishy, here...
"I'm with you," she said finally, scampering after Roch like a frightened mini. Exploration was key. Someone had to figure out what was going on.

Quite a lot had happened since Mot slipped. Eventually the Rat fell, and as far as Mot knew, it was probably just unconscious.
Hel left, many people left. Should he follow Hel?
Mot shook the stars from his eyes and got to his feet. Ugh.. that peppermint smell...

The smell was overwhelming--it was disgusting! She hated anything Christmas Town related. Thank Jack they were at least on their own turf this time. She would hate to go running through the snow again. Looking to Bul as he rubbed her arm, she gave a nod. "Sure. I think I've had enough of vomiting Christmas creatures." Whatever this was, she didn't like it one bit.
Glancing to where Tybalt was, she noticed that he was off speaking with a blue haired ghoul, so she figured that he would be remaining put. At least this would give her some time alone with Bul for now. "Okay, lets go."
