With the rest of the group leaving, Jericho made his way back towards the front, stopping a few feet behind Cricket. He had managed to cool off a bit there, but he was still rather angry with the whole situation in general. In the meantime, he stared at the big sign. It was still so damn tempting.

"Cricket. Is there anything we can do about this?" he asked the Nurse. Arel had left and while he spotted the theater professor around, he was more familiar with Cricket. She probably had a better idea of what was going on here anyway.

He wasn't built for stealth, but there were other things he could do. He would stay here, as long as he was able to until he got some more answers about the whole thing.

Israfel just followed Nahm.

Mostly since he kind of wanted to pet the head crab.

Alex continued to scowl, and shrugged at Yin, kicking at the ground with his foot in agitation.

"It doesn't make any sense. From what I've read, there has been some suspicious things happening at the school for some time. It has something to do with what we were talking about in the library...that stuff about the teacher and the field trip, and the things that happened in the forest that night when we were all netted. The boogey men think that the teachers and students are lying and covering something up.,,,there had been mention of the school eventually being shut down but I didn't think it could be true."

The zomboil was obviously very upset, speaking quickly and taking one hand out of his pocket to gesture wildly.

"For me...if I have to leave it's fine. I have a family, and they'd be only too happy to have me come home. But for others? This is the only home they have. Besides, I just got here. I don't want to leave!"

Everyone seemed to be planning something. With the new threats from the boogies, though, what was she supposed to do? She saw Roch off in a corner, chatting with a boil in a long cloak, and then they both disappeared... in a direction that seemed a little odd, actually. She hoped they had a plan. her attention turned back to the formed crowd and panic struck. Something had to be done!

"What are we supposed to do, just stand here and wait?" she asked nobody in particular, "This can't be happening..."

One minute she was enjoying a scary book about humans and the next, she was told she had to go outside. Just like that! She had barely any time to grab her messenger bag. Sticking her book within it, she hurried towards the door. Something bad was going down. It was undeniable. Why would they be doing this? Was the school on fire?

As soon as she made it outside, she knew that the fire idea was a no go. There was no sign of smoke in the air, at least not enough that it could be from a fire. She slowly weaved her way through the crowd. Did they even have this many undeads at her school? She really needed to get out of her room more.

There were a lot of conversations going on and it made it hard to figure out what anyone was really saying. However, her ears did twitch at an all too familiar sound of sobbing. There was only one ghoul that could cry like that and without thinking, she leaped and landed on the side of the fence. She didn't care if she had just flashed her pink panties at a few students. She held on to the fence with one hand and began scanning the group. It didn't take long to see Shine by the fence and after two jumps, Rain landed beside the crying ghoul with a very unladylike thud.

Her hand reached into her bag and pulled out a swirly lollipop, bringing it up to her friend much like one would a flower. "Don't cry, Shine. I'll find out what's going on. I won't let anything happen to you." Of course, the zombie had no idea where to start. She had no idea what was going on!

Though both the shield of her hands and the the soundproof bubble of her wailing were quite effective, Shine still smelled candy. And heard Rain. It probably came as a great relief to the students around her when she abruptly stopped crying and slowly brought her hands down to her knees, tear-and-blood-matted eyelashes fluttering as she tried to bring her vision back into focus.

Her face was smeared with tears, sloppy makeup, and blood from her hands, but she still tried her best to give a partial smile that expressed the gratitude she felt.

"Thank you," she replied softly, taking the lollipop with shaking hands. The taste of the sugar was especially welcoming against her lips, calming the startled zombie's nerves. She'd been ejected from her dorm so quickly that she hadn't been able to carry her stash with her, so today the candy was an even greater gesture than it usually was.

Leaning into Rain for support, she slowly uncurled herself, linking their arms in the process. She might lose the place she called home, but she wasn't going to lose her too.

"They...they want to...make us leave..." Her words were punctuated with both sniffles and lollipop-breaks. "But we love it..." She wiped her eyes with her forearm, leaving a sticky trail of sugar from careless candy contact. "I know...you can fix it." If anyone could, it would be Rain. She used to be president! That was important!

Willow rolled her eyes at the boogeymen they were no help she was starting to head back to her dorm when she heard Cady. "The lot of......" She paused, was there a polite word for them after a moment she jerked her finger towards the boogeymen. "Anyways they are trying to close the school. Says if we don't leave we'll be relocated."

Willow's eyes were hoovering on the remaining boogey. "I'd like to see them make me leave. I have a feeling I'll need to go buy some disposable vases." She muttered her arms crossed as she glanced around the yard.

"Have you seen Bea lately?" The byakko was fishing for her new phone wondering if she should text the others.
