 Mizuiro tilted his head, and couldn't really see how a smelly stain could indicate a shop, but he just went along with it, he wondered what Keon thought, he seemed to just be looking at the paper right now, still trying to figure it out. Mizuiro wasn't sure after now seeing that he was possibly wrong about the road.6 + 1 (survival) = 7 ((Keon has to get 20 for instant success))

Masa looked at Tenshi, grateful, yes, respectful, yes, but identifying something on the map via smell .... that was just stupid. "Look at the compass at the bottom. The village is West of us and you keep pointing to stuff that is close by. See the boot print? Thats Kirigakure beneath it. Navigate us from the jellybeans to the black cross. Its through the forest, which is mostly legible." She sighed. This was becoming exhausting.

Keon looked at the map again after finding the clods boring. He stared at it for a second and thought he saw something. He pointed to a blob on the map and said "Hey guys I think that might be school. But then again maybe not. What do you think Tenshi?" Keon was unsure of himself but thought that maybe Tenshi would be able to tell what it was.
+1 to Tenshi's next roll.

Masaraku was growing impatient. Why have her teach when she can barely sit still enough to allow us to learn? Take a chill... it's not like you gave us a literate map... He decided the ramen stain was not the ramen shop due to it being away from the boot print. He looked at the map for a while. "It could be... alright... change of plan. This isn't really getting us anywhere," he said standing up and still holding the map, "Judging from Masaraku-sama's expression we are not getting close to solving this thing so our next best bet is to simply start walking. We are here and our destination is here. Once we make our way to the village we'll have better sense of direction and easier landmarks to spot." They could be missing some of the easiest landmarks due to not visually seeing them. They passed so many of them throughout their lifetime that they could forget them as landmarks and only remember the path they walked. Sitting there wasn't getting anywhere...
Decipher the worn out map.
Tenshi pulled out the map, but its sort of hard to read. Is that a lake or a coffee stain?
Combined survival(1) check DC = 39

Mizuiro tilted his head one way, and then the other. He nodded to himself, thinking this and that, but he wasn't quite sure, so he decided to just follow Tenshi, he seemed to have the best ideas of what to do.
"Yes, land marks to match with the map seem like the best idea!" He then looked around to see if he could match anything around him with that was on the map.

Masa began to follow behind them and said, "Part of me kind of wants to just take you there myself, seeing as this is so hard for you all." She may just start giving them easier clues if this didn't work. I mean, yeah the map was old, but it was still a map. They made it seem like it was Trigonometry homework or something.

"Well since this is the forest we are traveling through... wait," he paused his walking briefly and pointed to a pond, "This stain here, which I think is from the bottom of a wet coffee cup, represents that pond. We didn't walk for into the forest and it isn't far into it on the map. So this line here must be the road we are walking on." He was glad to actually be getting somewhere. "If we follow this road, it should take us to the boot print you pointed out earlier." He handed the map to Mizuiro, "Here, look at the map and see if you notice anything." Masa never said he had to hold on to it, plus actively looking at the map would be a large help in their endeavor.
