So, you guys remember me talking about Condie? How she loves messing with doors?

I would like to report that she has officially screwed up my dorm room's door. No only did she unlock last night, but she made it so it takes a full thirty seconds to try and get it to catch. My roommate and I are submitting a report about it to get it fixed (but seeing as this will be the second time this semester my perfectly good door has gone wonky after talking about Condie, I'm not keeping my hopes up.)

@RocketGirl: I remember thinking that research papers were over once I was done writing it...two years ago I was writing my senior year research paper about fairy tales. I still read every thing I can find about them...

(Also, do you mind if I call you RocketGirl? I don't remember what I called you before...)

By the way, it's really weird, but I've been seeing people from the event two years ago around suddenly that I havent seen in, well, two years! O_O I saw Harpsiccord the other day and just now Dr Sushi is online!!

But yeah, it's weird how suddenly everyone is active here and then all these other people are appearing to me too 8D

As for my contribution to the ghost stories.. It's something my dad experienced back when he was still a resident physician. He's told us this story so many times over the years (among others) that it's kind of ingrained into my head.. but yeah, when I think of "genuine experiences of ghosts" I think of this. Even though my dad didn't exactly "see" anything.. I suck at explaining so this might make sense later.

My dad and his friend Dr. T got assigned to this patient who had to be admitted into intensive care. Now the ICU of that hospital was somewhat notorious for having a lot of ghosts hanging around and having strange things happening every now and then that it's common knowledge with people who work there.

The staff had told them that the patient was freaking out rather violently once she got near the ward so they had to give her some sedatives to stop her from hurting herself or anyone else. Now when my dad and Dr. T went to check up on her, she started thrashing around again, even more violently than before. They had to have her strapped down so she wouldn't fall off the bed or get into any accidents and what not.

Well, aside from that everything else went smoothly. The patient got better and was discharged from the hospital, but before leaving she asked to talk to my dad.

She asked him if he believed in ghosts and spirits, and he told her that it depends on who's talking to him about it. She then told him about that first day in the ICU why she was going hysterical then. She said throughout the entire time that she was getting settled there, she saw this little kid hanging around her and the staff, although no one seemed to notice aside from her. He would walk up to her side of the bed and look at her but no one would shoo him away. Then that time when my dad and Dr. T were checking up on her, she saw the kid again, standing next to her on the bed. At that time she said she also saw a tall dark shadow figure hanging around the room as well. Now Dr. T had sat down on the edge of her bed while he and my dad were checking up on her and then the patient saw the tall shadow figure sit on Dr. T's lap, which caused her to start freaking out again.

After her story, my dad told her that things like that weren't uncommon in the ICU (I think people around the hospital had also seen the little boy running around, the story goes that he was the son of a doctor there that had died of an illness) and that he'll do what he can about it. I think they got the ICU blessed by the hospital's priest afterwards but strange things do seem to happen there still. Patients would report seeing a little boy asking them to come play with him, or at night they could see a parade of people walking down the halls.

My aunt also has a bunch of stories because, of all the people I've known, she's the one that ghosts seem to favor. In all her experiences strange things would happen to her.

This is one of her experiences from her time taking up residency in idk which hospital. A lot of ghost stories happen in bathrooms, and this is one of those. My aunt went to the restroom and she found it was empty. When she went into the cubicle she started to hear singing from another cubicle, which she found strange because when she first came in, no one was around. So she just supposed that she didn't hear them when she first came in. When she came out of the cubicle she could still hear some singing so she decided to wait for the person to come out. Her comment was that it was pretty good singing. But after waiting for a while, no one was coming out. She paced up and down the stalls and looked under the cubicles to see if her singer was still around. Well, it shouldn't have come as a surprise but there was no one else in the bathroom with her.

Ah, Nico...I had his number, once upon a time. We texted about craziness...and boys. XD And balls of light. Then that phone died and I lost all of the numbers. D: I think I may still have Kyo's...

Where's FantasyAngel22? I miss her...
