Ryuu was a little tired, even though he had been healed from the potion. He didn't understand but the wild pokemon seemed to really hate trainers around here. Well despite what any other trainers had done, it wasn't his trainer that had done anything bad. Placing the blame of his trainer was like placing the antics of one bad pokemon on all pokemon. It just wasn't fair but then again, life wasn't fair in the first place. Rage filled him at this and how he saw the Growlithe charging at him. Eyes narrowing, he then waited for the pokemon to come close, trying to move left and then Bite his opponent on the shoulder!

::The girl sat there, holding the egg and poncho between herself, she looked at the Vullaby, then finally spoke, seeing the defiant look, she shot her own back, like before, her eyes were almost on fire::
...If I did not interfere, you would have perished.
Just as you killed the Cherubi that protected me, the Purrloin would have killed you for sustenance.
I saved you... and I won't ask anything of you, but I'll leave you with this memory.
You survived because of a human's kindness. A human whom you stole a friend from by killing them.
And remember that maybe one day, you will have a chance to show such kindness to another.
Then think back to this day... and see what you do then.
::The girl took her crutch, and stood up, but no more, she would wait until the Vullaby departed... or dared do anything further... it had hurt her... but she wasn't in the business of killing herself, she would let it decide what it wished to do, that was the important thing, it was the pokémon's choice in the end::
::She meanwhile, needed to find her own direction...::

(6 -1 + 8 - 7 = 6dmg x 2 thanks to the failed counter attack = 12dmg + flinch)
The Growlithe though wasn't a pokemon to be trifle with. It slammed the lavritar down and started to tear into his unprotected throat. Feeling her fangs sink, it wasn't as far as she wished as she held on tight and started to sink it deeper. He would kill this pokemon and then the trainer. She would would kill this trainer and then any others that came.
Her eyes unfocused with her insanity. Then she would kill and kill and kill ...until there would be no trainers left. She would kill until the water turns red with their blood.
And the joy of that thought swept her into the disillusion of that moment.

Ryuu wasn't to struggle but for some reason, he couldn't really move much.
He was shivering slightly with this pokemon's teeth latched around his throat and his eyes were wide with panic and fear. This dog pokemon was vicious and truly wanted to kill him.
Riku yelled at the pokemon, trying to distract it. She picked up some stones from the ground and threw it at the pokemon, trying to get it away from it. When nothing seemed to be working, she ended up running towards Ryuu and then pulling at the Growlithe's ears!

The Vullaby would snort at her words. She didn't care about any sense of kindness, kindness never kept her belly full, or kept her from being hunted. Kindness is a human thing, and something that belonged to the weak. This she was assured of as she fan her wings slightly turned and left as the girl started to walk away. She didn't wish to be anywhere near her ...she owed her her life, but, there would be no thanks for this dark type as she vanishes into the darkness of the forest.
The girl would be left to her own devices as she would come back towards her egg to see that ....the pokemon egg was starting to gain cracks in it. It was hatching ....as the point of a tail would pierce through the shell and an eye would look at her from within.

She hadn't even felt the rocks, and it wasn't until she felt the pull on her ears that she took note of Riku at all. But it was already too late by then.
The Lavritar wouldn't be coming to her rescue, but then again ...it could have been worst. The Growlithe head was pulled away before she could snuff out his life as she came away with a maw full of blood and a chuck of flesh in her maw. She shook her head as she rip her ears loose of Riku's hold as she turns around to face her. In her mind the Lavritar was dead as she let the bit of flesh drop to the ground ..wetting the sands.
Her entire body rigid as she turns towards Riku. A maw full of blood as she growls loudly ...she was ready to tear the trainer apart ...just like what she had done to the pokemon beneath her paws.

::Jasmine didn't say anything to the snort, much like with Professor Savvy, she knew when her words were needed any more to add or take from her point::
::She looked back at the Vullaby flying away, she'd receive no reward for the act, but at least in her heart, she knew by her own morals, she felt alright with this::
::But it was then it happened... the crack appeared, the split opened up and almost instantly she dropped herself down, nearly falling in the speed she took to get herself lower to the ground, the egg splitting open along that fold shaped like wings, as the wings themselves appeared... and now, rising slowly... looking very perplexed and angry, was Lindbergh...::
Gli... Gligar...? [I remember... what do I remember...?] ::Her tail swept back and forth, she looked around, trying to fix on something, when finally, her eyes locked on Jasmine, narrowing, hissing:: ...Gli. [...Oh, it's you.]
::But despite everything, the Gligar was met with a hug! Jasmine held the little creature tight and only eased up after a moment there, letting her down:: ...It's good to have you back Lindbergh.
::The Gligar hissed and spat, leaping down from her, she remembered little, but she remembered the girl vehemently and her dislike of said girl even more::
...I think it's time I show you our new member too.
::She held the new pokéball... and unleashed it, to reveal a creature with the fur on its back rised and hackled, claws extended, suddenly swiped at the girl!::
Purrrrrrrrrru! [YOU!] ::He hissed violently, looking back and forth between them::
::It seemed, they had a few issues to resolve...::

Riku glared at the Growlithe, but glad to see that Ryuu was breathing, barely. He was merely knocked out and so he'd be okay once she returned him to his pokeball. The girl watched as the Growlithe was charging towards her, she watched carefully. Clenching her fist, she then waited for the pokemon to come close before slamming her fist onto the top of the pokemon's muzzle!
"This is for Ryuu!" she yelled.

The Purrloin was pissed ...horribly ...horribly pissed. He didn't mind that he had been captured by a human, he didn't care that she was the same weakling she had let escape when she was struggle. He didn't care about any of that, but what he did care about was that he would never gain get the chance to put that bird beak into the ground and smush her head into the gravel. Now that he was a tamed pokemon ...he wouldn't have that chance and that was what his problem truly was as he hisses loudly.
Loud enough that he sent another native Cherubi running long before it could be spotted by the group.

::No wild pokémon would have him, he was 'tame', like it or not::
I think... first, the thing that really should be done is introductions... my name is Jasmine... and this is my friend Lindbergh, she's my partner for this.
[Partner... you both fillyfoolers?] ::The cat snarkishly laughed at the Gligar, who in return gestured with a claw::
...And right now, we just need to get through this night... that means locating supplies... as well as covering for one another.
I admit paranoia. I've seen too many pokémon die today.
If we have to battle... we'll do it together, all three of us.
::Both pokémon raised brows, but said nothing... three?::
And first... we need to find Berries.

A loud yelp, the Growlithe actually yelp as she felt the hit on her nose. She hit the ground with back paws trying to catch her as the move actually toppled her backwards and she fell heavily on her side. Though she wouldn't stay down for long as she got up with her blood dripping form her nose.
Her teeth still bared as she continued to growl. She had dealt with humans before, but this was the first time that one has every struck her with their fist. She growled loudly as this time she didn't charge but start to circle around her opponent ...looking for a new opening in which to attack.

(7/10) A fact that one would have thought would be made easier with the Purrloin's capture, but that pokemon was a carnivore. He was more interested in the creatures that ate the berries than the berries themselves, so they would quite literally have to hunt for them ....something that could easily take all night itself.
As the moon remain high in the air.

::Jasmine seemed just a little behind them, as the pair moved along the branches, she stayed awaiting on the ground, keeping an eye on the pair::
::Claudandas stopped, there was an irritable growl from the cat, but nothing more as he sat there, looking to the Gligar whom had now caught up to him:: [I don't know if you don't notice... but my fangs aren't made for sipping Cherubi's like that buzzard bird I was trying to make my meal of earlier... before your human sought to steal me away]
[Pfah] ::Lindbergh rushed around the branch over the air to the other side of the Purrloin, landing there:: [Aren't we the sourpuss?]
[You're one of us now... and you know it, no belly aching is gonna stop this... so we gotta make the best of the best, you hear?]
::The cat growled slowly, but finally, his claws tore into the branch::
[The berries will be held by a choice few animals... they are rarer to find than your human imagines here... more than likely?]
[They will be protected by the Guardian] ::His eyes fell on Lindbergh:: [The Chatot.]
::She didn't know why, but Lindbergh felt a sudden chill through her as she looked slowly around the moonlit forest...::

Riku watched the Growlithe carefully, as the blood leaked from it's nose. The girl was amazed that she had managed to hit the pokemon and felt a little ashamed. But the guilt didn't last long as she saw the prone figure of her Larvitar. She pulled a pokeball out and then threw it at the Growlithe. The girl needed a pokemon to protect her until she could find a way to revive her Larvitar or find some berries for her Sandshrew and the girl was somewhat desperate.
