Radek noticed the door was completely open as he looked inside to see the dead and mutilated bodies. Blood being everywhere as he decided to give it a smell, it was freshly made, meaning that the real creature was nearby. He decided to get himself fed as he drank up what would appear to be at least half a liter of blood from the walls and floor before he left, filled and ready to fight, heading to the center of town.

This is the only warning he would be given before the chimerite puffed up it's chest, the lion like face on his breast raising and the maw opening wide before spraying an extremely hot gout of roiling flame towards the vampire, attempting to incinerate him alive.

Radek turned to see a monster rearing it's head before he spewed hot flames at him as he flowed his energy through his body and began to spin his staff as fast as possible, creating a small vacuum area as it took the fire, but the spin dispersed it quickly, but the force was enough to push Radek back as he kept spinning the flames out.

As Radek continued to spin his staff, the lion's mouth would snap shut and end the stream of burning flames abruptly. The beast would roar predatorially and leap from the building, landing about five yards away from the vampire. It would lower into a stalking stance, and circle around the weaponsmaster for a moment, attempting to get a feel for how he fought. An intelligent light shone behind the red predatory eyes of the chimerite. It was obviously much smarter than the brute, and Radek would have to be rather crafty to defeat it.

Radek watched as the beast landed before he held a single finger up. "Try to truly find me if you can." The beast that was 5 yards away, it would sooner have more trouble than it bargained for as Radek created a mist around the entire area, which smelled like blood, becoming the mist's true smell. While Radek didn't have that much of a good sense of sight, but he could find the beast better than he could as he moved away from the area quietly and quickly so the beast would be lost.

As the mist rose around him, the Chimerite glanced around in angered confusion. However, the confusion didn't last long as the chimerite's snake head began sweeping to and fro, scanning the area for Radek. Since snakes saw things by heat signatures through their pit organs (located near the nostril), it would still be able to pick up on his movements. It was currently the only head that could see, but hell one head with sight was better than being rendered completely blind. He made no move towards Radek, but would simply allow the vampire to come to him, it's body whipping about back and forth as it made itself look confused as ********, almost as if it really did have no vision at all.

Radek used the mist as cover for the time being, he needed to recover big time as he moved over to behind a building, taking the time to recover as the fog kept the area still.

The Chimerite would allow Radek to rest. After all, Radek was supposed to be hunting him, not the other way around. And plus, this way he could wait out the mist which had randomly sprung up. The creature leapt from roof top to roof top, aquiring a new hiding place as it waited for Radek to search for him, the snake like tail moving its head about in all directions to scan for any approaching signs of life. It knew trying to look for the vampire while the mist was here would be a big waste of time, so the beast simply remained crouched atop a random roof.

Radek continued to bide his time, trying to think of how to fight this chimera, hearing the rooftop movements. He wanted to try and think this one more thoroughly due to this beast's keen instincts and viability to be smarter.

Still the Chimerite plotted, thinking of the perfect way to attack the vampire. He jumped from rooftop to rooftop in search of Radek through a combination of the snake's pit sensors and it's own sensitive hearing. Closer and closer he got to the vampire's hiding place, and suddenly the beast was there. Diagonally behind Radek to the left it stood prowling upon the rooftop, crouched and ready to strike. The viper's head spit out a corrosive green acid at high velocity towards Radek, and the golden furred beast would leap, claws outstretched towards Radek in an attempt to slash open his chest to the bone whilst the viper tail struck out and tried to bite into his face. The beast had grown bored of the small game of hide and seek, and now the real battle would begin.
((Here, I suppose i'll get things started lol.))

Radek was hit by the acid at his left shoulder, rendering it damaged as he quickly moved from the spot as the beast jumped at him, he barely managed to escape the claw and bite. As he got away, he summoned up his shadow and turned it into an one-handed Ax. He was unable to hold onto his pole, so it was underneath the beast, but Radek was a bit more than 5 ft away from the beast using his agility and vampire instincts.

As the vampire leapt away from him, The chimerite would stomp on the staff with it's razor sharp talons, breaking and slicing the shaft into two pieces underneath him to ensure the man wouldn't be able to use it again. The beast then leapt backwards as his chest welled up, and the lion's mouth would open up once more, gigantic toothed maw letting loose a vicious big and wide arc of continuous flames towards the vampire that threatened to incinerate him. The beast would continue to spray the flames, a fire hose of death enveloping the area in front of him and catching the houses and streets alike in a big, uncontrollable flame. Men, women and children alike would run out their houses, screaming and crying, all running away from the flames as well as the chimerite, blinded by the dreadmist and unable to see, some running directly in the flames and burning to death, other's running towards the chimerite, who would idly allow the snake's head to strike out and bite one now and again as they ran past. Now even if Kumori managed to slay the beast, he would more than likely have to figure out a way to put out the flames if he didn't want the whole town to literally go up in smoke. He should probably do something... and quick, before the chimerite put the whole town ablaze and killed all the civilian's who practically ran into his waiting jaws. ((EPIC CARNAGE. This was taking kinda long, so I figured i'd make things a bit more interesting for you lol))

Radek allowed his vampiric instincts to take over, predicting the beasts obvious feint fire spew as he dashed towards the beast, felling to his knees as he leaned to the side, narrowly dodging the flames. as he was slowly going past the flames at his left. He felt the intense heat, but his determination to kill the beast allowed him to persevere, He enchanted his shadowy ax with sharpen, making it twice as deadly now before he threw the ax at the beast while it's spinning functioned as a good wave cutter. As it neared the monster, the shadows would slowly make it worse as on contact, the shadows would begin to gouge out its lion eyes.

The chimerite would survey Radek sliding underneath the flames, and jump back several yards away from him, creating distance as the mouth continuously spewed flames in front of it. The snake head would dart out and grab a panicked fleeing child and pull him in, tossing him in front of Radek's incoming axe. He expected the axe to stop inside the body, but the axe managed to cut the little kid right in half before burying itself into the lion's side. The beast roared with rage, yet before the shadow could inflict any damage to it's lionshead's eyes, the viper tail would strike downwards once more and bite at the shadow, wrenching it from the axe before throwing it on the ground and striking at it several times. The chimerite was wounded... and it began to realize that Radek wasn't really easy prey. The beast would jump on top of a roof, running away from Radek as it continued to spew flames over the rooftops of several surrounding houses as it jumped from housetop to housetop. If the beast couldn't kill the vampire, the least it could do was burn the rest of the town down and it's surviving citizens with it. No matter how far away he got, Radek would be able to follow from the trail of blood the axe wound had left.

Radek ran after the beast, making sure to dodge the flames, being left one armed for the time being. The monster seemed relentless as Akuryo tracked it down through the blood from it's wound. As he did so, the mist finally faded away while Radek was trying to think, soon turning into bats to move faster.
