I have a question too. What's in between Hainaut and Hesbaye? It is 911 and I'm expecting just empty land, but maybe there is a monastery or something. Or woods? Maybe fertile lands I can exploit?
If I can do nothing because they are outside my demesne, then what about the resources on my two counties? what's on each of them? wood, stone, fertile lands?
I need to know what my count can do to maintain his power, and he will need lots of money for that army.
You should either pm each player to set the resources, ot open a new topic about that. I will be trying to find maps that can give us some clues while I wait.
Edit: I came with a solution. Remember Ralph's court was unhappy with him? Maybe she could make a character who self appoints herself as the countess of Hesbaye (make her the daughter of a respected knight or something).
I already said I like to deal with problems, so this is perfect for me. I lose half my lands for staying away for too long, my courtiers rebel and a new countess appears.
Of course my stats will suffer, but let's see how Ralph deals with this.
But I will only agree to this if Sindrellia will be an active player. If she just wants to post once every two weeks, then Ralph is going to grab his army and take his lands back.
