Please explain how it exactly is OP? It uses skills I use, costs 1/4 or 1/2 of my energy, and simply acts as an amplifier. The only iffy part was remote activation, and even then it's not that bad.

There is nothing really wrong since it amplifies the duration of all magnetic skills and and the size of magnetic items to some degree, which means it last quite longer from what you said. But still at the same time it can be quite deadly since most of your custom magnetic skills are quite powerful from the start from what I read. Still, It's a single use item so you also have to be wise when using this, unless you plan on you making more after this prototype. lol All I ask really is just change the ranking of the item from B to A and it's good to go, simple right? 3nodding

DG, he's got a valid point. You make alot of skills and items that feel like they should be higher rank than you make them so you can use them now. Why is making it Rank A so you can use it later such a bad thing? It's not -useless- to you, you can always use it later.

Because I have plans for this item now.
Not later.
I can't rank myself up, and my nation leader is inactive.
Besides, this item isn't as powerful as you make it out to be.
It's a single use amplifier for magnetic skills that I have to build anyways.

So what is your plan now? Why is it so imperative that you be granted this item now? You also have another Custom that raises the rank of a number of your skills.

Really DSW? If you haven't looked into his customs, he already has a Custom called War Forge which -I apologize DG, my mistake earlier- amplifies the rank off all his items.
You should consider holding him to the question of "Why do you need it now?" DG has the most customs of anyone in the Guild, and as a Mechanist he -can- make it whenever he wants. That's what makes a protype such a landmark achievement.

Item Description:
The Single Use Magnetic Amplification Droid, or Sumad, is a small robot that clamps down onto Xavier's hand and allows the next two magnetic skills to be able to be combined and used on enormous metal structures as long as the cost is under the SS rank energy cost. If the skill cost goes over the limit, it takes an additional SS rank of energy to cast them, essentially making it cost as much as two SS rank skills for two skills. The amplification basically doubles the duration for all skills, and allows things to be magnetized that would otherwise be impossible to magnetize due to sheer size. After the skill(s) are cast into the bot, it can be placed and activated like a time bomb or just used right there. Must be pointed the correct way. After it's used it becomes useless and is discarded. Takes a machine slot while active until it becomes useless. Can be detonated remotely via comm or AI. This item is a one time use, never to be remade again item. If it's wanted again it must be reapplied for.

Remaking this because I remembered Urban got a shirt for a robot that did the same thing that it did with no downfall or cooldown. So I kept a downfall but added a little bonus. This is a machine so it will also take a machine slot while running. Which isn't exctly a downfall, but is more than a shirt does. Quote: RPC Name:

This helmet can only be worn inside Xavier's Sanctum. It allows him to learn skills, summons, addons, and build machines for only 1/2 the post count. This can only be done three posts per rank. After learning with this there is a five post aftereffect where nothing can be used because Xavier's brain is readjusting.

I was looking for a custom for that assignment, and drifted in here looking for something. I happened to see that thing DG made there, the helmet, and although I do have such an item, I wanted to clarify something. The shirt was on Tombz when he came from Axiom. It's an item I wanted to get approved that was made from someone else's talent. I didn't want to use it without have it approved here cause that would have been bad. Just clarifying.
