The doctor looked at Daniel with a confident look on his face, and said with equal confidence, "Of course sir. This works on any human." The doctor handed Daniel a mask to keep out the smoke. "Here, put this on. It will protect you from the smoke so you won't fall into a coma. Only on patients do we not put masks." The magic protecting Winter's ears and tail started to fade until they were plain to any eye, but the doctor has his back turned.

"um sir we are both neko's so i don't know if it will work" he said tilting his head a bit. He looked back down to winter and layed his head down gently near her side.

The doctor smiled, his back still turned. "This smoke is perfectly fine for nekos to handle, but," He turned and gave Daniel a very serious look, "... if she happens to be a werewolf, this smoke could very well kill her. It would mess with her.. hmm... it would mess with her abilty to change from neko to wolf, and trap her in an in-between state which in time would give her a very painful death." Winter's breathing slowed and became a little bit more shallow.

"well then stop the smoke and try something else. i will not allow a death to happen in this house, especially not a slaves death." he screamed at the doctor. He got up and headed to the window opening it letting the smoke out "so do your job right and find the right way to cure her" he said as the doctor scrambled around trying to find a new cure.

The doctor shut off the smoke and put a small mixture into a shot. While he was doing this he said in a kind nature, "Sir, I think you should step outside for a moment. You seem like you need sleep." Winter woke up gently once the smoke was gone but soon after she fell into a coughing fit. She began breathing heavily but the doctor soothed her and gave her the medicine to first stop the smoke from hurting her in anyway.

Daniel shock his head as he sat down in the chair "i will get some rest once i know she is safe, alive and healthy" he said leaning against his arm. "till then i will stay here" he said gently watching winter gently

The doctor sighed once Winter was back asleep and had her second shot. He walked over to Daniel and said, "Sir, she has minor head damage. She won't be out of here for at least a week. But also considering wolves heal incrediblly fast, she may be out in a few days. You might as well head back up to your room and rest." The doctor smiled sympathtically, as if he knew something Daniel didn't.

Daniel shock his head "no i'll stay here, and sleep here if i get tiered" he said stretching a bit. He blinked a bit feeling his eye lids getting heavy as he kept his gaze on winter smileing a bit.

The doctor followed Daniel's gaze and chuckled a little. "Sir, I suggest getting some pants on though. There may be visitors and you probably don't want them seeing you in your boxers." The doctor smiled, said a 'Good bye.' And left. A nurse came in to check on Winter before drawing the curtains, and letting the pale sunlight in.

Daniel sighed as he grabbed a blanket covering himself as she looked down as he shock his head. "this is all my fault" he said then feel asleep his head falling to the arm rest. He continued to sleep as he held the blanket close to him

Winter woke up just a little and looked around from where she was laying. She didn't sit up, instead just looked. She spotted Daniel in the chair and smiled. She silently reached out a hand and rested it on his, like an it's going to be alright gesture. She fell gently back into sleep but didn't move her hand.

Daniel continued to sleep as he moved a bit resting against the back of the chair. He fekt his hand being touched but he slightly ignored it, but held onto what ever it was as he continued to sleep.

A nurse came in with two trays of food about three hours later. She set a tray beside Winter and one beside Daniel. She saw their hands and smiled to herself before leaving.

Daniel continued to sleep as he fisted his hand tightly t, mumbleing a bit. He continued as he rolled over a bit more almost falling off.
