Maenalus smiled at and nodded to Babylon weakly, hopefully they'd live to see the better side.

When Painite dropped behind her, Maenalus flinched and ducked, narrowly avoiding most of the swings, but she got a pretty deep cut on her back. Unarmed with any sort of weapon and no defense either, she was stuck cowering behind Babylon for the moment. But when their rolls were reversed, she tried her best to protect him, if only by putting up her fists. For a second she was worried her bow would come undone on her fuku, but she helped him up and went back to holding the door. The cut she'd sustained was on her shoulder and she winced as she tried to hold up the door.

She gasped when Ixion was taken captive, but couldn't think of the words to express how disgusted she was at Paininte's actions. She mustered all of her strength on Valhalla's command, nodded to Ganymede, and rammed the door.

Perseus had stepped aside from the battle a bit, waiting for the slice on her side to stop bleeding, or at least to subside a little. But with all of the distractions, Perseus found her opening.

The door.

It looked completely battered. Taking a big breath, the senshi charged the door, slamming into it as hard as she could with a cry of pain jolting through her body. Thankfully she'd been smart enough to ram on the opposite side of her cut, but the impact still tweaked it. Breathing in a harsh breath, Perseus stumbled back from the door a bit, surveying the madness around them.

"Ixion!" With a frown, the sailor mustered up all of her remaining strength and moved towards Painite, aiming to use the distraction of Ixion's attack to punch in her the face. Hard.

After all, she had been stabbed by the captain. It was payback.

ROUND 5

Door's HP: 0

The lock broke off and fell to the ground with a thud. The banged up door’s hinge finally broke and the door smashed to the ground. Inside the tool shed was strangely lit; as there was no natural light it should have been dark. However, standing upright in the center of the tool shed was a massive energy storing crystal. The crystal was identical to the communication crystals that Negas had. The suspicions of many campers and counselors had been confirmed. All the energy that was had been drained for the last two weeks had been stored inside this crystal.

The crystal glowed a bright, vibrant purple that radiated with stolen energy. It had a strong aura around it, but it could not be classified as either good or bad; it was simply indescribable and odd. Energy seemed to radiate from the crystal, attaching itself to anyone near by. As a result, everyone on the field felt refreshed.

For a moment, the shed was steady. But from all of the attacks it had endured, it was weak. The walls rattled and shook until they collapsed, falling backwards onto the ground. The door frame fell clear of the Crystal. It laid intact in the open air with the she'd rumble around it.

Those on the roof top had only a few seconds to jump off or they took a nasty tumble.

Anger was an emotion felt by nearly all of the Nega’s victims. How dare they! How dare they pretend to be doing a good thing, by pretending to care for children! What, were these kids just cattle to the Negaverse? That energy belonged to them! Not the Negaverse. They could not get away with doing this! There was only one thing to do… Break that Crystal!

Quote:
This massive Energy Crystal is a tool given to the Negaversers running the operation. It was given to them directly by a General-Queen. It is strong and very durable!

The Crystal has an HP of: ?????

Senshi! Try and attack the Crystal! Negas, protect it!
Everyone may roll 100 sided dice!

If you haven't jumped in yet, you still can! Senshi or Negas who were not at camp may join too, as long as they have whatever excuse you can think to give them.

Sailor Maenalus and Sailor Perseus's , combined efforts finally broke the door. As a special treat for breaking the door, they are pumped full of adrenalin! For this round only they may roll two 100-sided dice.

Captain Painite, fed up with these senshi is pumped up too! And may also roll two 100s.

Okay, now things were getting serious. Carnelian had suffered a cat-to-the-face and now beatings from the awful senshi of total evil. Great. Just great. Carnelian thought the cat was bad enough, but the door needed more help since the Negaverse officers able to guard it were not fewer and fewer. Damn, where did all these senshi come from?

"Back off if you know what's good for you!" he growled, attempting to sound menacing. Whether or not it worked was something else entirely, but he did try to put on his Mean Face.

....but before he could do anything, several senshi's attacks broke through the door, busting it into tiny splinters and revealing what they were trying to protect - the Energy Crystal. Dammit. Falling back several paces, Carnelian stood to block incoming attacks as best he could. He doubted he could do much but... Painite looked strangely energized. Perhaps this was what they were looking for?

The door and shed broke apart after all the abuse and what was inside was something strange and almost anticlimatic to Juno. However when she felt the energy rush back to her.. and fully realized just WHAT it was, all her dissapointment of it not being something cool was replaced with rage. Had the negaverse had something to do with how tired they'd all been? Because they had been seemingly unnaturally tired. Juno frowned as she tried to make sense of everything.

Her hand squeezed Chibimoon's softly, looking for a her guidance even as she seemed to be chomping at the bit. "I think we need to get in there now"

"We go and help"

Pushing through the groups of senshi and knights and other people
Sailor Juno made her way towards the giant glowing crystal. If kicking had been good enough for the door, surely it'd shatter the crystal that was holding captive all their precious energy.

"Kiiiyah!!" She screeched in a warrior cry as she kicked at the crystal.

As resourceful as Ixion seemed to be, Ganymede wasn't all that comfortable with the idea of leaving him victim to the plotting of an evil woman. If he could have made a grab for him, he would have, but the shed buckled and wobbled beneath them and then gave way completely. He didn't have the time to immediately react to the crystal that was revealed from within, though he did take a brief moment to note the boost to his energy. He suddenly felt much less tired and worn out than he had only minutes before.

As the tool shed rumbled to the ground in the splitting and crashing of wood and metal, Ganymede nearly tumbled among the debree, jumping from the collapsing roof just in time and careening straight into Valhalla.

Captain Painite grinned at the senshi that hopped up onto the shed with her. She was friends with the little boy, was she? It was clear in her volatile reaction. Yes, some senshi fought for everyone and were very self righteous about it all, but Maia seemed a little more invested than that.

"I don't think-"

Whatever she was going to say was interrupted as the senshi continued to attack the door. There was a light thump, then a harder one, a few more, and then something hit her face. What was it, exactly, about her face that was drawing so many attacks today? She coughed and shoved Ixion away from her on instinct, coal dust getting in her eyes. She was at least aiming to hurl the boy off the roof, or into the senshi.

And then both of them off the roof, if she was really lucky.

Of course she would have no time to celebrate it whether it worked or not, considering something else hit her in the face. She couldn't see what was punching her, but the close energy of a super senshi made her think it was either Maia or Perseus ('Curls' or 'Clock' as she had designated them in her mind).

That was it.

"BUGGER."

The shed had given way under her, the door falling open to reveal their carefully cultivated crystal. She hit the ground hard, but scrambled to her feet as quickly as she could to defend the item. She was not interested in letting the senshi get the better of her, and she growled as she resummoned her weapon to her hand. It seemed to be de-ballooned, which was nice. She felt a rush of energy fill her, and was ready to do some real damage now. This plan was not going to crash and burn, not if she had any say in it.

The Spirit of Mr. Saddles had work to do.

"No more Miss Nice Nega," she said, eyes fixing on Perseus first. She was closest, which meant she had to be the one responsible for what was sure to be an ugly bruise on Painite's face. "Your time is up, Senshi."

She charged, gripping her javelin like a lance, stabbing it forward, keeping an eye out for any senshi that might jump in to defend.

Valhalla lowered the table to the ground once the door had been smashed open, but he didn't take time to really look at what was inside. He was a little preoccupied with the little boy and the others on the roof. "Look out!" he shouted to them, not wanting anyone to get hurt. He would have liked to try and grab Ixion from the woman, but before he knew it, a flash of black, white, and red came at him, and Valhalla held out his arms to try and catch Ganymede before he could hit the ground.

"s**t, you okay?" he asked, buckling under the sudden, added weight of the boy in the odd costume (as if he was one to talk). Not that he was expecting Ganymede to be very heavy! But he hadn't been prepared. Valhalla quickly put him down before he toppled over from bad footing, and looked around to see if everyone else was more or less okay from the falling down shed.

"What the hell is that??" he nearly sputtered, staring at the crystal. He could feel the energy leaking fro it, and something was telling him that he needed to take care of it. "Be careful with this," he warned Ganymede as he looked around for something to use, spotting the wood pile they'd made their camp fires from. He didn't think touching the crystal would be very safe, so instead, Valhalla lifted a log from the pile and threw it at the crystal.

The fall was well timed. Painite had pushed Ixion away just as the shed fell. The boy plummeted straight down to the ground, and luckily managed to land on his feet and hands, somewhat like a cat. It took a moment for him to get up. The effects of the nearby crystal gave Ixion renewed vigor. Whipping around, his eyes widened as he saw the large crystal before him.

So they were right! Their energy had been drained for the last two weeks. Ixion, like many others, rushed towards the crystal, hoping to hit it.
PostPosted: Mon Jun 27, 2011 7:15 pm

Maia smiled at Ixion's determination. It wasn't as though he was a small child, being just over five feet, but Lily still worried for him. Maia wanted to help the other's break the door, but at the same time she did not want to budge while Ixion was still in Painite's grasp.

She looked quickly to Ganymede, not wanting to sound bossy or anything, but gave a look to the girl ... boy ... she wasn't sure, but girl seemed more appropriate. "Help the other's," she said quickly, "he'll be fine I won't let anything happen to him, you can trust me. I bet he won't even need my help." Then Ganymede fell and Maia made to catch the other, but she wasn't fast enough.

Quickly she turned back to Painite and Ixion at the shout and found Ixion literally thrown at her, not hitting her but she stumbled anyway. Suddenly she was falling off the roof to the shed and she quickly fought to right herself so she didn't hurt herself. She just barely landed on her feet disorientated to see Ixion had rejoined the fight.

Ganymede managed a smile as he was caught and steadied himself once he was placed back onto the ground. "Yes, I'm fine. Thanks, Val," he said, lifting a hand to pat the knight's cheek appreciatively, before turning to get a look at the crystal that had been hidden in the shed. So this was what had been causing them all to feel so tired even after a full night's sleep this last week or two. In retrospect, it didn't really surprise him, but it did piss him off quite a bit. Even all the way out here, he couldn't escape from it, and they'd targeted children.

He stepped out of the way as a few of the others approached to begin attacking the crystal, watching as Valhalla grabbed some of the campfire wood to hurl at it. "Now would be a good time for one of those baseball bats," he mumbled to himself. He'd thought of them a few times already, but only now was he seriously considering going to get one.

For the time being,
Ganymede picked up another large rock from the ground and threw it as hard as he could, though he doubted it would be so easy. Breaking into the shed had been a chore in and of itself. Destroying the crystal probably wasn't going to be any simpler. Damn these people and their vile plans.

Maia ran over to the others looking at the crystal and shock, her mouth slightly agape. She frowned knowing her powers would be no good against it and quickly grabbed a rock from the ground, he mind focused hoping she would be able to hit the thing.

It was more important now that she hit it than in the water balloon fight and her aim had been pretty decent then.

Filled with a sudden burst of energy that came from the collapse of the shed, Sailor Maenalus' eyes grew wide at the sight of the crystal and she knew it had to be attacked. Scratches, scrapes, and wounds be damned! She followed Valhalla's suit of picking up wood, but instead of throwing it, swung it like a bat aimed straight at the crystal.

She'd done enough damage with the combined effort of Perseus and others to bring down the shed, so they could probably all make short work of the crystal, right? The senshi just hoped that no Negas got in between her and her new mission. If they did, well they could expect to get smacked in the face.

When she hit the crystal, the wood broke in half, either from contact with the object or from the force of Maenalus' pumped up swing. Looks like she'd have to grab another.
PostPosted: Mon Jun 27, 2011 7:27 pm

Valhalla frowned when his cheek was patted, not knowing if it was supposed to be a condescending gesture or what. Either way, he didn't let it bother him for long and he turned to watch as others started attacking the crystal as well. Ugh, he didn't want to keep throwing things at it... they might end up hitting someone... And then Ganymede had a wonderful suggestion.

Baseball bat... That really was a good idea...

"You know what? Let's get them," Valhalla said, turning to Ganymede. "I'm tired of not having a decent weapon," he added with a frown and a grumble. He took a few steps backwards, frowning at the glowing crystal, before breaking into a run, away from where the shed once stood. There should be plenty of baseball bats by the field. And lucky him! He'd grabbed the keys to the shed when he'd been planning on locking the sleeping children inside their cabins. Of course, he didn't have the key to the tool shed... He'd been told that was in the hands of the camp maintenance for when the campers were gone.

"Babylon! Maenalus! Want a bat too?? Never mind, we'll get you one, anyway!" he shouted over his shoulder as he ran off. Hopefully he could get them without much trouble and in time to actually use them.

There was suddenly so much going on that before Sailor Chibi Hypnos knew what had happened she had practically been pushed out of the way in all the fuss to stand back and watch the door break. Not only that, but she was now staring wide-eyed at where the shed had been. Who would have guessed that the boring old shed had something so interesting in it. Certainly not this child, she wouldn't have guessed anything different was happening at the camp at all.

What was worse? Cora wasn't here. She wasn't anywhere. Just where was she? The child's hands tightened in little fists, her head lowering to the ground. She didn't know what was going on, not even the slightest clue. She hadn't learned the rules as Painite had suggested she would and instead she was left taking a step back, looking at what was happening around her.
