Team Black
Ainsley was nearly splashed with water from the balloon that had hit the ground from Istas, and she giggled, "You missed!" she called as she picked up another balloon and countered Istas' shot with a smile, returning a balloon back to the other child. "Here, have this one!"
Then she seen Lissy running towards her and she held out her arms for the girl so she would be able to stop safely.

OOCLY The Black team has won! Huzzah, your balloon slinging sloshes has stolen you a stellar victory!

ICLY...well...
Adira had enjoyed watching all of the water balloon shenanigans for a good half hour now. The sun had gotten high in the sky, almost noon, and the water balloon supply was running low. Patches of grass were so wet any shoes set upon them slipped like as if on ice. A few balloons now had been getting a little too close for comfort, but the one that splashed next to her chair and actually managed to get her clipboard wet was a little too far.
Besides, it was time for lunch anyways. Standing up from her perch, Adira blew her whistle, piercing through the laughing, crying, and homicidal balloon throwing rage, causing everyone to be silent. "I hope both sides had fun today. And in an effort to teach you that not everyone wins... both sides end in a draw!" She paused and smiled at the campers. "But if it makes you feel any better, the consolation prize is pizza for lunch! Don't worry about picking up the balloon fragments, they are bio-degradable. Go have lunch now...and I expect EVERY pen in my office to have working ink."

A draw? Maaannn. Griffin's shoulders slumped. She was sure that the black team had won! How would she be able to rub a draw in Talia's face? Drats. She shrugged, however, and wrung out her long hair. "Hey, Talia, let's go grab some pizza." Her stomach was growling and she was starved. She made her way to the mess hall to grab some lunch.

Lissy slid straight into Ainsleys arms just as Adira blew the whistle. They drew?
"What??" Lissy didn't look happy, her hair hung loosely down by her side as she still held onto Ainsley to keep herself from falling over.
"Black Won! Black Won!" She called out in hope and stuck her tongue out at the red team. Lissy was never on the loosing side! A draw... As if!

Ainsley heard the whistle blow and she burst into a light laughter, wrapping her arms around Lissy so neither of them would slip on the wet grass all around them. It was a draw! That was totally winning! No one lost! Everyone won! She grinned at Lissy and grabbed at her hand to move them both towards dryer grass.
"We should go down to the beach after the pizza, we're already soaked!"

Lissy was amazed at how happy Ainsley was that there was no winner! She was soon quiet though and smiled, going down the beach could be fun!
"Yep sounds good and you can go swimming again!" Lissy thought it would be a good chance to get Ainsley in the water again so beach after pizza sounded good to her! Would give them some time to have some more fun before they all dried off and did something sensible later.... as if Lissy would do anything sensible!

((sorry i wasnt as active as i could've been. busy!))
Talia was absolutely soaked. A draw?! What the hell, this was no draw. Her team had obviously lost, and it was disappointing. Chu's never lost, they just let the other team win. Obviously.
Still, she was no party pooper. Talia helped her team gather up all the little remaining plastic bits of balloon that littered the field with a smiling face. Even if her team had lost, it was still pretty fun. After all, who could deny getting soaked when it was hot out? Even if her curls were absolutely ruined. She just threw a ponytail holder and a bobby pin in her hair and called it good. It was a good thing that Talia had the type of hair that looked presentable in most situations. Not that she thought that, anyway.
She took a moment to wring out her hair and survey the damage. Most of the little kids were just laughing or cheering; they didn't really get what was going on. They were just happy to be covered in water for the moment. Ainsley, in particular seemed strangely happy that nobody had won. Talia didn't get that mentality. Winning was everything.
Talia handed her friend friend a hair tie, and looked at Griffin very sagely. With a completely straight face, she said, "Very well, master Griffin. I accept defeat with a welcome heart. Let me go commit seppuku in your honor." She let out a hearty laugh and high fived her friend, and then twined her fingers with Griffin's. "Last one to the cafeteria is a rotten egg!"
With that she took off running, leaving Griffin in the dust and laughing. Maybe camp wasn't that bad.

Lily was totally and completely soaked and although her team was the team that lost she wore a huge grin on her face. She was so happy she had been able to have so much fun and now it was over. She quickly made her way over to Paris.
"Congrats on the win, looks like black team rules," she said sweetly. She looked between them with a laugh and said, " since we are already soaked lets go for a swim and trust me no worries right." She gave the boy a wink and promptly reached out to drag him away. She been meaning to ask Paris all week why he wouldn't swim.

Paris stopped tossing water balloons at the sound of the whistle, soaked and bedraggled looking but feeling pretty good -- if not a little tired. He smiled at the celebrating kids, then at Lily as she approached.
"Black is where it's at," he said, then blinked and sputtered as she grabbed onto him to drag him away. "Lily! I don't really think that's a good idea! Shouldn't we do something else? Like... like make sure the kids get cleaned up, or... something?!"
Hey... he could try.

Peter was soaking wet now, but he didn't look at all upset. Instead he was going over to the two other young girls on his team to give them a high five, and the Sam as well, before shaking his head to try and get rid of the water dripping from his hair.
"I told you it'd be fun!" he said with a thumbs up to Ainsley and then turning to see if Lissy was going to be doing anything later. "Hey, so, I'm gonna try and convince Billy to pull me to the top of the flag pole. I want to see if I can get a signal up there. Wanna help?" he grinned, not minding if she did or didn't. He would figure something out either way.

Much like many of the other kids, the very competitive Aitana was NOT pleased to hear that they'd come out as a draw. After all of that work and trying how could they not call a winner!? Making a draw didn't make anyone a winner, it made everyone a LOSER. She didn't give a care about pizza either. It was hardly the prize she wanted, a large frown settling on her face.
Maybe Coralie would be excited for pizza though? And at the very least she could tell her friend about the great battle.. and if the pink haired girl assumed that Aitana's black team won well.. she wouldn't try to say any different.
Brushing back her soggy wet braids, Aitana carefully tiptoed her way off the wet grass and back towards the cabin. Maybe she was a little hungry after all.

Alright, so they hadn’t won, but that hadn’t really been the point. Okay, it was the point but he’d had fun anyway and a water balloon fight wasn’t something he’d have usually thought of as fun. Cordy would be proud of him at least. She had told him a few times he needed to get out more and she probably wouldn’t actually believe he’d even agreed to do something like this.
A draw was good for the kids though. There wouldn’t be anyone picking on someone else because they’d won or because they hadn’t won. And pizza! Not that he was usually a fan of pizza but he could get pictures of the kids while they were still soaked and munching on their victory prize. He’d stashed one of is camera’s in the main hall just for that reason.
He rounded up a few of the kids he recognized and helped the other counsels herd them toward their lunch.
“No one has to pout about not winning. Who knows, maybe we’ll do something else and you can be on the winning team them too”

Castille got to release one more balloon before the whistle blew. It landed harmlessly at the feet of someone on the other side, and when it was announced that the battle was a draw, she inwardly groaned. Outwardly though, she smiled and said "Good job everyone! Let's get some pizza!"
She started to usher grumbling kids off to the mess hall, noticing just how tired they were really for the first time. Most of these kids had been good natured about losing in the earlier week, but this time, there seemed to be more pouting and eye rubbing than usual.

"Woo! Pizza!" Of course Jenna was happy about that, not to mention her team hadn't lost. Finally she could undo the black bandana from around her upper right arm. Doing just that, letting the bandana hit the floor. She was all smiles.
"That was a great game." Smiling she looked around the group while following them all toward lunch, she was hungry actually...very hungry. How she hadn't noticed she could only figure was due to being so busy with the game. And she had been busy, though maybe not as busy as some of the others.
"Congratulations, to everyone!"

Lily shook her head and continued to drag Paris along, "no we are going swimming. You haven't gone in once and beside, I have a surprise for you that I think your really going to like. Its awesome, so come on."
Lily had not taken the time to swim herself and she had an idea as to why Paris wouldn't swim, although she wasn't entirely sure, either way she would find out back at the cabin.
