Except that I might fall in love with his contraptions instead of him. Can someone say eventual divorce? xD

B-b-but maintenance!
Or give it to him in the prenuptial agreement!

...Or just become the Traveling Playset of Freelovin'.

I would not become that. xD A man has to interest me first before I give him any attention like that.

1. What quality do you wish others around you had?

2. Your favorite memory of your parents?

3. Favorite method of transportation?
1. Honestly, sometimes I wish everyone could be as patient and considerate as you are Humility. Pride and greed account for 95% of the world's problems.

2. When my parents got divorced, my mom convinced my sister and me that my dad was a selfish jerkass and loved his job more than his family and all of those mean, spiteful things that people say when they're mad, and we didn't talk to him for a couple years. She finally came clean on my eighth birthday, when he showed up unannounced and I kicked him in the shin. xd After she explained and apologized, he took me to Toronto and we had a great weekend at Casa Loma and Medieval Times.

3. Boats! Kayaks or canoes, preferably, since you don't have to share 'em.

This sounds interesting, although I'm terrible at coming up with questions. I'll join in if I can come up with something or I get asked something.

I was just about to do so, actually. xd
-You intend to be a librarian, correct? Which are you more partial to, older classics or newer up-and-coming authors?
-Have you ever done anything technically illegal?
-Have you a phobia of any sort?

1.) In general, older classics. There are newer books/authors I've really liked, but most of the books I tend to get are at least a decade or two old. The exception to this is manga and light novels, where it's a challenge to find anything that was originally published last millennium.

2. ) Off the top of my head:
- I've watched fansubs, read scanlations, and pirated one video game (Mother 3). I've also pirated a lot of music, either by downloading it or borrowing and ripping the CD. I have bought some of the stuff I read/watched/listened to later, but there's still a lot I have not or will not buy.
- I had some alcohol before I turned 21. It's bitter; I don't like it very much.
- I bought at least one volume of SaiKano before I was 18. I don't remember exactly how many volumes since I bought them out of order, but I know it included the last volume where a good chunk of the book is the two main characters having sex.
That's not all that interesting, I know. I was a terrible rebellious teenager.

3.) On some level, the future. There is one ALA accredited college in my state, so I know that when I finish my Bachelor's degree and go for a Master's (fun fact: you need a Master's degree to become a librarian) I'll probably have to move out of state. I am not ready for that. gonk

Questions:
1.) What's something you really liked as a kid? Doesn't matter if you still like it now or not.
2.) Do you have any idols? Who and why?
3.) What's your least favorite food?
PostPosted: Tue May 17, 2011 11:11 pm

@Swyff: Nah, that's alright. I feel like that'd be prying, you know? I'll let the answer be what it is, because it's already essentially what every parent feels.

1. What is your biggest regret?
2. Would you ever be willing to risk everything? (you can take "everything" however you want to)
3. What is one thing you would consider yourself a professional at doing?

--My biggest regret is always that I have anything to regret. I know it sounds like a bit of a tautology, but think about it for a moment.
--Only under one of two conditions: A.) That it be for someone else, or B.) That I feel I have nothing to risk.
--I'll give you two for one. Patience and Listening.

Your turn, amigo.
--We're at the end of our school year here. If you could go back and change one thing from this year, what would it be?
--Have you got any pathological fears? Ones that don't really make sense, like my thing with spiders or Kristen's with thunder?
--This may seem a bit personal, but it's something I've always wondered. You've always said that you're comfortable in your body. So why do you feel the need to hit the gym? You don't do it for strength, because I can't see that as a reason you'd use. And you don't do it for vanity like I do (or should do, at any rate). If you'd rather answer this in a more private setting, be my guest.

--I'm gonna go ahead and give the nonstandard answer of things that aren't media-related.
So, uh. When I was a tyke, I was the one with the security blanket. Yeah, there's not really much more to say on the matter than that. >_>
--Nikola Tesla. The man was an outright genius. I only wish I could accomplish half of what he did in his life. I almost bought a book on wireless transmission of energy by him this year, but I had to forgo it in the interest of money.
--Celery is my mortal enemy.

Elemental Draconis
1. Favorite dragon character?
2. How would you spend an absolutely perfect day?
3. If you could pick anywhere, during any time period, to have been born, where and when would it be? (Fictional settings count)

Oh, how interesting.
*has long boring answers* *cough*

1.) Honestly, I have seen so little in comparison to what I want to know as far as dragon characters go.
Saphira would be somewhere near the top though, because I love how she can be. But something a little less obvious... Wagner, Belial, and Hindel from Odin Sphere. And a little of Ti'amat.

2.) I don't think anything is absolutely perfect... but... I'd love just to do what I wish without worry or time or money. Going out with people I enjoy and love and just plain enjoying myself. I don't like being alone, obviously, so I'd love to share a perfect day with close people. Maybe playing games (whatever those games may be), roller coasters, or just having a lazy day watching movies. *cough* Or getting myself more dragon stuff and proper corsets. xD

3.) Could I have my significant other with me? Because if I couldn't, I would not change it or choose different.
In any case.... In a day of magic and belief. Obviously something dealing with dragons that are benevolent. I've always liked the idea of magic and unexplainable things. Sometimes I prefer a life almost to that of a video game, in ways where I could go pick a fight with creatures, and get easy money off of being an adventurer. I'd get to travel and see so much. As well as get bad-a** weaponry and armor. *coughmagicarmorcough* Well, someplace when and where I can have a dragon companion.

Obvious answers are... obvious, no?

Anyway, anyone can pick off of my three questions ((actually, I'd kinda like these questions to be for everyone)) :

1.) What memory do you remember most as a young child? Good or bad.

2.) What was the most striking dream you've ever had? One that had significance, even if you may not know the meaning.

3.) Remember anything paranormal happen to you? Saw a ghost-ish thing or dreaming and then wake up to see marks?

I wouldn't change anything. Bad things happened, but I learned from them. Even if I could make something go over better, or be handled better, I feel like everything resolved nicely. I also like to live in such a way so that I won't regret things that I have done. However, I feel like there was one time that I messed up and didn't learn anything from that failure. There was a particular conversation I had with Kristen that didn't go over well. It was done over text and she really didn't get the point I was trying to make, simply because of the fact I was multitasking and wasn't choosing my works very well. I wish I had written out what I meant more clearly, to save us the trouble of temporarily being annoyed at each other.

Anything that gets too close to my eyes, or if I think something is abnormal about them. You complained lately of a twitch in your eye, if that had happened to me I would have been going crazy. I inspect my eyes every morning when I get up; full range of motion, still grey to blue in color, no red lines, normal size, clear vision, and able to blink quickly. My reasoning is not rational obviously, but I'm very vision centric and not having vision would (i feel) ruin me.

Well I do enjoy having the extra strength actually, it makes me feel more capable. All in all at this point I do it for a challenge, cause I love seeing improvement; and also for Kate, cause I know she likes it. heart

1) My normal voice. Accents, etc, I don't care about, but my regular voice has a very homosexual lisp to it. crying

2) I would enjoy following the path of my uncles and become an engineer. Barring that, a doctor. Preferably something where I work with a machine.

3) Ensure their survival

1) Going to Angel's stadium to watch a ballgame with family and friends.

2) Favorite color. I remember I used to like green before blue, but then I started watching Xaiolin Showdown. Omi quickly became my favorite character, so that's probably where my affinity for water comes from.

3) Tortilla chips with some of my mom's homemade salsa. Also Reese's Fastbreak bars. Effing yummy.

--Holy living ********, more often than I can count. All of the good-looking ones are either straight or they hide it well enough for me to hold off asking.
--I've got a younger brother. I've referenced him a few times as "Supahfly," because that's the nickname I give him in real life. xd On the net, he actually goes by Sttarman. The Steam account we share constantly switches names to show who's using it.
--African or European?

I'm counting that as a question, by the way. xd
So the other two are:
--What's something you've done that you're really proud of?
--Do you have your wisdom teeth out?

1. Witnessing my grandmother's death was probably what stuck with me the most vividly. Heart attack on the kitchen floor. I was nine. I didn't understand why everyone was crying and freaking out - I thought you went to Heaven when you died, isn't that a wonderful place? Shouldn't we be happy for her? My mom cried harder, and my sister just glared at me and told me I was a monster. After that day, I stopped believing in God for a long time. I thought it was something parents only told you to give you something happy to think about, like Santa or the Tooth Fairy.

2. I always have dreams about being shot or stabbed or otherwise fatally wounded by people I care about - best friends, boyfriends, family members. I think they're a reminder never to love someone so much that you can't live without them, because one day you may have to.

3. My sister, my father, and I have all seen my dad's late girlfriend in this very house. In fact, my sister is friends with a paranormal investigator, and she's seen her too - described her to us perfectly without even knowing who she was, right down to her favorite sweater in life.
