Faleen kept the dex careful close to her chest, straightening up to a more properly dignified stance as another Galactic came over, after a few moments at Elite TRP's suggestion.
She blinked, at their exchange.. talking about.. toasters? what kind of deadly mecha was that going to be... and then the mention of a waffle iron... were... were they really just talking about house hold items?
Attention was away from her dex, she quickly turned it off and put it away, taking a few steps back before turning to go down and joint he others. Stopping her pace after a short time when suddenly a large amount of rock pokemon suddenly made themselves known, and rocks from the ceiling began to fall, causing the agent to back up again. "Oh dear." Her hand went to her pokeball's on her leg.
Pulling two dusk ball, one dropping a large, darkly colored Sharpedo next to her, the other dropping an Absol in front.
"Be silent." Faleen snapped at Sharpedo who started to protest about the lack of water. He laid a hand on his fin, and looked to Absol. "Use your ice beam." She told him. "Sharpedo, prepare a Protect if the ceiling gives way any."
Sharpedo replied gruffly, while Absol stepped forward, opening his mouth and forming the frosty beam to fire at the Golem.

As the rock suddenly came alive, Orion glared at his Lucario and brought a fist down on his head "Why didn't ya say something!?" The stoic Pokemon flinched slightly at the blow and grumbled.
"Get'cher a** in there and fight it."
The Lucario's ears twitched and he quickly rushed into the battle. "LuuuuCARIO!" the Pokemon bellowed as it threw a heavy blow with its spiked fist at the rock Pokemon, using Close Combat.
The Dragonite, meanwhile, was recalled, since it didn't have anything that would be useful in this situation without causing a cave in.

Nyx quickly returned Maxwell, not wanting her large steel type to get into a fight and end up bringing down the cavern. There were better ways to handle things like this. "Doppler, Hypnosis." The tiny zubat flitted off of her shoulder, flying around the golem and chittering, releasing waves of psychic energy at the larger rock pokemon.

Aulus watched the Golem unfold, his hand tightening on his staff even though he knew he hadn't a hope of fighting the hulking rock type, or even its pack of unevolved followers. "Oh bloody hell," he muttered, "that just takes the cake." If they fought in here the whole ceiling would probably come down on them, but it hardly looked as though the wild pokemon were going to roll politely aside and let them pass. Not much choice then.
"Keep back Char," Aulus instructed sharply, "focus on keeping us lit! Tortie, use Swords Dance and then go after the Golem with Bite!" Hopefully they wouldn't all be crushed by falling rocks. Hopefully.
Growling deep in her chest the patched Absol focused on raising her attack power, waiting for a gap in the other pokemon's attacks in order to launch her own assault.

Well, this wasn't good. Golem weren't exactly renowned for their careful movements, nor were Aggron. "Acier, withdraw," Aila called as the Aggron began preparing to fight back. A shift in the way he carried himself indicated his relief as he took a few steps away from the imminent battle. A flash of light called a Venusaur to the girl's side, and she gestured towards the Golem, "Ready a Sleep Powder." Nyx was a step ahead with her Zubat's Hypnosis, but she would be ready to act nonetheless. Putting the thing to sleep seemed a much safer strategy than attacking it with the team Aila had chosen.
Having adjusted to finding herself in peculiar situations and acting on a moment's notice, a momentary "sauurrr" was all the adjustment Fleur required before she had taken good aim, waiting to see how effective the Hypnosis was and evaluate whether or not she would need to launch her own attempt to subdue the Golem.

The golem stumbled at the multiple ice beams, flailing its arms, "GOLEM!" This was followed by the hit from Orion's Lucario, which sent it stumbling back into the cave wall. It hit the wall with an echoing thud. More rocks rained from the ceiling.
Deimos yelped and attached to Tethys' arm again. He stared at the golem and cast a glance at the shaymin on his shoulder. The little pokémon obviously had a type advantage, but he didn't send it in for obvious reasons.
As the golem steadied itself it got a facefull of hypnosis from Doppler followed shortly by a bite attack from Tortie. The golem was starting to look woozy. It was at this moment that the group of geodude leaped into action.
"DUUUDE!!" They shouted, flinging themselves at the attacking pokémon with smack down attacks. All the physical attacks were showing more effects in the unstable cave. Another rock fell, this time landing in the middle of the Rockets, narrowly missing Aila.

As the rock plunged down and crashed into the ground Aulus said a very rude word and looked up. This was bad, seriously bad. He did not want to end today as an Aulus-pancake, not in the least. Action. Excitement. Missions with Team Rocket were just as advertised, but not quite what he'd expected.
"Change of plans, Tortie go after one of the Geodude," the scarred man barked, "Char, take on another with Dragon Rage!" Geodude didn't have especially high HP, so the attack ought to pack a good punch.

This was not safe. Too much more of this and they would all become ugly little smears under piles of jagged stones. Aila stepped aside as a stray rock fell near her. The Geodude were making a bad situation worse; they needed to be dealt with in short order.
"I'll use Sleep Powder to thin them out. Be careful," she warned, raising her volume slightly to better address the group before turning to her Venusaur, drawing a hand up to cover her nose and mouth, "Do it." She recalled her Aggron with her free hand as Fleur complied and released a cloud of drowsing spores, attempting to limit the range so that the attack affected as many of the Geodude and as few of the allied pokemon as possible.

Absol moved backwards as rocks started to fall, and Geodudes started to attack, at the same time Faleen stepped in closer to Sharpedo, who threw up a protect from the falling rocks.
Absol continued to fire his ice beam at close by Geodudes. Faleen's eye down at the other rockets, concerned for them, especially when a bolder fell close by Aila.

As the rocks started coming down, Orion leaped out of the way and cursed like a sailor. "Geez, Bandit! Hit it with something that won't kill us!"
The Lucario grunted irritably and lept back as a Geodude went flying past him. Instead of going for another round of physical attacks, he paused and closed his eyes to concentrate. Lifting his paws, he focused his aura energy and shot a dragon pulse at the Golem in unison with Char's Dragon Rage.

Alexina bounded out of the way of an incoming Geodude, shooting an Ice Beam at it as she did so, before turning and firing one at the Golem again - this time at its heavy feet so it would stop stumbling around and making more rocks fall. Thankfully she was out of range of Fleur's Sleep Powder.
Claire cursed under her breath as she glanced at the ceiling, trying to keep an eye on the goings-on as well as make sure no boulders would fall on her. She didn't want to end up as a pancake either.

Maybe it would have been better to leave Maxwell out, at least the Aggron could shelter her from falling rocks, but it was a bit too late for that. Doppler, unfortunately, was a flying type, and the onslaught of rock type attack did a lot of damage to the little zubat. With a distressed squeak he was slammed out of the air, his tiny body going limp on the cavern floor. Nyx cursed and dove out of the way of one of the Geodudes, barely stumbling out of the path of another rock pokemon. "Doppler, return!" She flailed around for the zubat's pokeball to return the tiny form--it took a moment, but soon the pokemon disappeared in a beam of red light.
"Dawrin" Nyx reached behind her and pulled a little blue thing out from under her mess of hair, "Ice beam the geodude, go!" The mew looked back at his trainer, then at the mess of attacking pokemon, then back at his trainer, and then a geodude slammed into the tiny legendary clone.
"Mwaa!" The blue cat-like pokemon yelped, retaliating with a beam of ice shortly after the blow.

Tortie's bite attack successfully snatched a geodude out of the air while Char's dragon rage knocked another aside. Meanwhile Fleur's sleep powder took down two more. One geodude flying at Faleen's absol was frozen in midair.. and continued its trajectory aimed for the ice pokémon.
Golem was in the process of stumbling back to its feet and aiming a charge at Orion's Lucario when it took the Dragon Pulse attack. Roaring, it fell to one side, legs freezing along the way, thanks to Alexina. The rock pokémon was determined, unfortunately, and dug its claws into the floor, wrenching itself forward. With a tremendous amount of effort it pulled its legs free and launched into a rollout. Spinning at high speeds, it curved around and aimed to steamroll the Rocket pokémon like a bowling ball. Before reaching them it smashed into the geodude frozen by Darwin, sending it tumbling through the air. Unbothered, the enraged golem stayed on course.
TRP staggered as more tremors rocked the cave, "This is ridiculous, you'd think the pokémon that live here would know better than to use such reckless attacks.." Gasping, she narrowly threw herself under the protection of Faleen's sharpedo as another large rock fell from the ceiling.

Orion was suddenly at TRP's side as he avoided more rocks and flying geodudes, giving a shrug with a snarky look on his face. "Well this is a cave and they're rocks, sweetheart."
Bandit was knocked aside by the rolling Goldem, but was largely unharmed thanks to being a steel type and got up again. This time, he threw a ball of dazzling blue energy towards the rolling terror in an Aura Sphere attack.

"Maybe the ceiling is more stable through there," Aulus yelled above the cacophony as more rocks began to rain down from the ceiling, gesturing to the gap the Golem had left, "I can't see it being much worse! Tortie, Char, keep it up, and be ready to run through that gap!" He was certainly ready to leg it, and to grab Claire too if necessary... Hang on, she was an experienced Agent, she must have enough sense to take care of herself. If she knew what he'd just thought she'd probably slap him or something... Still, couldn't hurt to keep an eye on her.
